- heynow21, on 09/26/2009, -0/+11"Water allergy
A case emerged in the UK in April this year, leaving a 21-year-old mother unable to drink water or get caught in the rain because her skin develops a painful burning rash. She can shower for a maximum of 10 seconds per week and can drink only Diet Coke."
I can't imagine how horrible that would be. Only Diet Coke? - jrm125, on 09/26/2009, -2/+12Don't worry, I'm sure when one person of importance gets it or dies, the media will be sure to inform us that it's the worst pandemic in 50 years and we'll hear far more about it than any of the truly important health problems.

- asgardshill, on 09/26/2009, -1/+4"Morgellons" = delusional parasitosis. IOW, the problem's a broken head, not broken skin.
- Frostek, on 09/26/2009, -0/+3Morgellons isn't a real disease.
It's actually delusional parasitosis, and it spreads via Youtube... - seaofcheese, on 09/26/2009, -0/+3I dont think Pica is all that rare. If you have heard of pregnant women eating strange things that is pica.
- Propethic, on 09/26/2009, -1/+4Buried for morgellons, tired of hearing about this wikipedia/internet hoax
- spunalot, on 09/26/2009, -0/+2Thanks a lot, now I think I have all of those too.
- mikerad86, on 09/26/2009, -1/+3I once knew a girl who never drank water. She only drank Diet Pepsi and Coke. She was a long distance runner and never drank water. It boggled my mind and I thought she had to be chronically dehydrated. She said that if she drank even a little bit of water on her own, she would get horrible stomach pains. I wonder if she is allergic to water... Either way that has to be horrible for your health, considering the human body is about 60-70% water...
- blankman, on 09/26/2009, -1/+3I've heard of a few of those, stupid presumptuous CNN.
- atomic811, on 09/26/2009, -0/+1My hypochondriac self knew I should not read that, but I did anyway.
- Ghostwo, on 09/26/2009, -1/+2Five Mystery Diseases I've Never Heard Of...
Not bad, especially for CNN. - sndream, on 09/26/2009, -1/+2It's more like 9 rare disease plus 1 hoax. It's not a mystery if the cause was known.
- kendallwi, on 09/26/2009, -0/+1It's good to know I'm not crazy and that most the girls I've dated must of had Alice in Wonderland syndrome.
- Tarkaan, on 09/27/2009, -0/+1Lupus.
- mikerad86, on 09/26/2009, -0/+1At least if you had the facial paralysis disease you would never get smile and frown lines...definitely save a lot on Botox...
- k4thryn, on 09/27/2009, -0/+1CJD scares the ***** out of me lol. That's one weird disease.
- adinaciubancan, on 10/22/2009, -0/+0do you know what distilled water is?
the scarcity, cost and so on... it's a matter of common sense - Palscience1, on 09/26/2009, -1/+1What about Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease? Or Pica disease? There are even more than that....
- IdealBumpkin, on 09/26/2009, -0/+0"It is not strictly an allergy but a hypersensitivity to the ions found in non-distilled water."
I'm not the one with a medical degree on the wall, but does this mean that she could drink non-distilled water and be ok? Or even use it to clean herself? - adinaciubancan, on 10/22/2009, -0/+0probably not, but you're not far off from being hypochondriac
- emt1451, on 09/26/2009, -2/+1Too bad I've already heard of 8 of those...
- stoneage7, on 09/26/2009, -2/+1Lame, already had 6 of those.
- pstroll, on 09/26/2009, -6/+1bleh CNN.com... I guess they'll just have to remain a mystery then.
- kestermatsumoto, on 09/26/2009, -9/+2I hate these gay ...you've never heard of lists. 10 games you've never played. 10 movies you've never seen. 10 typed of scrotal molluscs you've never been infected by... ***** off
