- DigitalHippie73, on 03/12/2009, -1/+6I once fought a living wall in FF7. They still scare me.
- hartley, on 03/12/2009, -1/+6THIS is a living wall.

I miss MtG :( - ryudeshi, on 03/12/2009, -0/+4That's because a roof isn't a wall.
- brandnewx, on 03/12/2009, -0/+3I think I like this living wall better: http://travel.webshots.com/photo/10959388330409439 ...
- ahoyhoy, on 03/12/2009, -0/+3It's like what Cylons would use to build their walls...
- chrismackechnie, on 03/12/2009, -0/+2Meh. I think a lot of it lives in somebody's fantasy world. Not only has the Toronto tower not even been designed, there isn't a hope in hell that it would *ever* get approved as shown. Way too high for the 'hood at 58 stories. And there woudl be a lot of rich farmers in the world, if they could even fantasize about growing $23 million in produce over our 6 month growing season.
- lalit7552, on 03/11/2009, -2/+4Wow these are really unbelievable ... I saw first time such kind of thing.
Great Collection ... I must say .. - ophello, on 03/12/2009, -0/+2...wtf are you talking about? The statue? stfu.
- bobdigi, on 03/12/2009, -0/+2#2 got issues.
- manifold1, on 07/09/2009, -0/+1Very cool. I think I'm going to design and build one.
- malanic, on 03/13/2009, -0/+1I'm sure that land outside the city would cost a lot less than the floor space in that thing. It would seem insane to create such an expensive structure that casts a shadow over the city, and would undoubtedly require additional artificial lighting inside. You'd have to set up a solar farm to feed it power for lighting and because of losses in efficiency, it would have to be larger than the area farmed (forget about the cost of the light bulbs and solar panels), and wouldn't that be defeating the purpose?
Never gonna happen. - woodrail, on 03/12/2009, -0/+1The tech must be facinating.I think irrigation. I think chia.
What plant makes the best wall? Can vu achieve self-cleaning with a drizzle system? - brandnewx, on 03/12/2009, -0/+1Come visit my house. We do have a living wall with all kinds of living molds and bacteria on it. And at least it's less scary than those walls.
- Slackdragon, on 03/12/2009, -0/+1The Oulu Bar and Ecolounge (#10) looks incredibly fake. Why, if it were a living facade, would the pattern of plants repeat itself identically over and over like a clone stamp in Photoshop?
- Wargasmic, on 03/12/2009, -0/+1It's called art....
- Moosecapade, on 03/12/2009, -0/+1They left off the roof of the California Academy of Sciences.
- ddogfilm, on 03/12/2009, -0/+1AWESOME!
- jazzwhiz, on 03/12/2009, -0/+1read this as living wills including most of the intro until i got to the vegetation part and was confused. i thought maybe people hid their wills in their gardens? also - i couldn't much imagine a living will or any other type of will being that exciting
- hydrodev, on 03/12/2009, -0/+1Jesus Christ maniac take it easy, it was a ***** joke you little bitch.
- ophello, on 03/12/2009, -0/+1Last one is photoshopped. Not even their site has a photo of the front. You can see better photos here:

- lornali, on 03/12/2009, -0/+1The greener the better
- mycoplasma, on 03/12/2009, -0/+1Living walls only look cool. Last time I checked, they failed to save the Battlestar Galactica from getting a hole torn in its side due to a raptor making an FTL jump.
- djrbx, on 03/12/2009, -0/+1Not a wall but still living.

- hardscrabble, on 03/12/2009, -1/+1it's funny because ivy is really destrtuctive to brick and mortar walls ;)
- hugsfornatalie, on 03/12/2009, -0/+0I hope you know some of these are photoshopped.
- TrendFunnel, on 10/29/2009, -0/+0Fake or real? Either way the first image of the Musee du Quai Branly in Paris is beautiful. I love the color contrast.
- thegrogman, on 03/12/2009, -0/+0The best revenge is living walls ...............
