    1. Sharpies rot CD's so use a water based pen instead.

    2. CRT's usually have an anti glare coating, so polishing off the crosshairs will damage that as well.
  • jaspinDroid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0haha... if you do this on an LCD you are screwed.

    Here's a better idea: cut a tiny little square from the sticky part of a post-it note. It will stay on but is easily removed, can also be used on LCD monitors.
