- RedZone09, on 10/29/2007, -3/+99screw ign. this is the guy i go to get reviews.
- dontaskagain, on 10/26/2007, -9/+55"I don't really think America is populated entirely by ***** & cowboys; i know that some Canadians that live there too"
Classic Yahtzee - Ghoztt, on 10/26/2007, -2/+27I too, fear catching the gay.
- ThEDeMoNKiNg, on 11/06/2007, -0/+23So.. Umm. Just to be sure, this picture Peach is available at deviantart, right now?
Link..? - banty19, on 10/29/2007, -0/+22I agree with him but he didn't harp on what irritated me most: how slow some of the animations are. They don't take a really long time but every elevator ride and 3D/2D flip takes a lot longer than it should. All of those small delays add up pretty quickly.
- CyberSkull, on 10/26/2007, -1/+21I'm not a cowboy (ugh) or Canadian, so I guess I fall into the third category.
- sleeknerve, on 10/26/2007, -1/+19i look forward to Wednesdays now with his reviews. they are extremely funny and witty.
- TastyCookie, on 10/25/2007, -2/+14He did the money-earning part the stupid way. I did it with the puzzles and stuff. >_>
- empath, on 10/26/2007, -0/+11How could he not mention having to click the button approximately 80 billion times to get through the interminable text based sequences. If I wanted to read a book, I would have bought a ***** book.
I think the the hamster wheel bit was the best part of the game. Pure genius as a commentary on the conventions of videogames. Not so fun to actually DO though. - michaelaranda, on 11/06/2007, -0/+11I just noticed that in the screenshot he shows of dictionary.com's entry for "game", one of the other tabs he has open is titled "Super Huge *****".
- Paroparo, on 10/25/2007, -2/+13Biased towards what exactly? Games that he likes? That's how it's supposed to work.
- p0tent1al, on 11/04/2007, -1/+12"Abbreviation for finding said quote to be funny"
- ShaunBRS, on 10/25/2007, -0/+10You had to work to pay the prisoners for the passcodes needed to access the vault, which took five or ten minutes and was unavoidable.

But not nearly as smart as if you search and find the safe with the money stashed away. - inactive, on 10/25/2007, -0/+9If you watched his other reviews you will see that Yahtzee normally doesn't include any gameplay footage or snapshots.
- R3Dirkulous, on 10/25/2007, -0/+8and he made note of that..did you watch the video?
- bergur1, on 10/26/2007, -1/+9I love how witty he is in every one of his videos. After some time you start to notice things taken from older videos (bioshock figurine, portals (CAKE!)).
- GeneralFailure0, on 10/25/2007, -1/+8Yeah, but you still have to run on that wheel way too long. My game shouldn't be interupted with a slave labor mini-game that plays that true to life.
- aratto, on 10/26/2007, -6/+13You did NOT have to work for the money. Only an imbecile would actually think that Nintendo would force you to do this, and I will now cry at night for anyone who did it this way. There was a vault at the top of the level with the exact amount needed that you could access by solving some puzzles that I forget the setups and solutions for. It probably involved using those dudes you collected along the way. I guess Nintendo thought, given the amount of time required to actually earn the correct amount, any sentient creature would naturally conclude that there was an easier way. They should have implanted some kind of a tracker device in the game so that we can finally start dishing out the natural selection that up to this point has been smothered by the concept of civilization. I mean, Christ.
- psykiv, on 11/06/2007, -2/+8Super Mario RPG > Any paper mario game
- BenKenobi88, on 10/26/2007, -3/+9Funny as always. I agree with the review as well...I loved the first Paper Mario on N64...this one just had too much talking...it was boring.
- auger282, on 10/26/2007, -1/+7thats hilarious I put the remote under a table for 15 min to make the 10k hehe
but its still a great game - Eisum, on 10/26/2007, -1/+6Totally agree, says what you need to know about a game.
- AbsurdParadox, on 11/04/2007, -0/+4"I see what you did there"
- DefaultGen, on 11/04/2007, -0/+4"Overuse of a dying originally-clever joke"
- AbsurdParadox, on 11/04/2007, -3/+7"Lame reason for burying, that will, instead, be buried itself"
- darkhero, on 10/25/2007, -1/+4Save the queen, save the world!
- p0tent1al, on 10/25/2007, -3/+6I love this guy, but don't be dissing my JRPG's. Paper Mario might be decent, but I'd take Final Fantasy over it any day.
And I'd take Super Mario RPG over this whole series for that matter too. - chillfaktor, on 11/06/2007, -0/+3I knew it!
- driftwood07, on 10/25/2007, -1/+4yup i agree. favorite source for game reviews i've come across
- kefs, on 10/25/2007, -1/+4he said quarter of an hour, and it's just below that..
and wtf is up w/ not being able to skip all the ***** text/talking.. - stupidbrowner, on 10/25/2007, -1/+3Why are you reposting??? The Escapist can definitely handle Digg.
- HerbSolo, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2This guy could review golf clubs every week and i'd watch it.
- ModemGhost, on 11/06/2007, -0/+2Also, there's a link to it right on the same page as the Paper Mario review you just watched...
- canadian8703, on 11/06/2007, -0/+2http://www.escapistmagazine.com/profiles/view/Yaht ...
- inactive, on 10/26/2007, -0/+2Not a bad game but those long cut scenes and talking pissed me off.
- chillfaktor, on 10/25/2007, -1/+3I loved this game! its full of references that can be interpreted as rude if read by an adult but seem to fit in perfectly into the mario universe from a kid's perspective, full of references to the power of big corporations and sidehits to zelda. And best of all, it doesnt take itself so damn serious and has a wicked art-style combined with pretty clever puzzles.
- vogelzang, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2mrbike is actually right. there is a secret room/vault you can find if you look hard enough, allowing you to skip the hamster wheel.
- Appox, on 10/25/2007, -1/+3Another good'en.
- twigboy, on 11/06/2007, -0/+223 and loving it
some people grow up too fast, others just dont grow up at all - Nadan10, on 10/26/2007, -0/+2I've been wanting to see a review like this for yonks.
- Pyloff, on 11/06/2007, -0/+2Damn I love this guy. Where was that Bioshock review again?
- sancho, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2The important thing to keep in mind is that he admitted that he didn't touch the multiplayer. He wasn't interested in it. So it seems likely that anyone else who isn't interested in multiplayer won't enjoy Halo 3 much.
- BestJaxx, on 10/26/2007, -2/+4Classic Digg style.
- ModemGhost, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2I can see bypassing a site if the traffic kills it, or if it's a blogspam post of some existing video, but The Escapist is the site that publishes Zero Punctuation, so we SHOULD be going to their site for his stuff.
- jessi74, on 10/25/2007, -0/+1If you'd seen his other reviews, you would have noticed from the console rundown that he doesn't like Final Fantasy either, claiming it can be approximated by listening to the star wars soundtrack while huffing nitrous oxide and reading an excel spreadsheet.

I love Yahtzee. - jjremy, on 10/25/2007, -0/+1Stupid question: Why is it saying I need flash 7 or higher to watch the video when I have flash 9?? even when i go through the reinstall it still won't play the damn video!
can anyone help me out here? - goodposter, on 10/25/2007, -0/+1aratto is a liar, and he doesn't know what he is talking about.
