"I wouldn't have been too phased if Hitler appeared riding a giant robot spider." :D- triplehelix, on 11/05/2007, -15/+5the Halo 3 one was funny, but it got kept off the front page by 360 fans.
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/edit ...- quigles3000, on 11/07/2007, -1/+16Oh, you mean this one with over 2000 diggs?

http://digg.com/videos_gaming/Zero_Punctuation_Hal ... (your link had the end chopped off) - triplehelix, on 11/01/2007, -2/+1ah, i figured out why. the xbox fans kept burying it in the gaming news section, but it got posted in the video section.

- NeoCortex, on 11/06/2007, -2/+3Was that supposed to be Superman's nemesis in the original version of the script?
- triplehelix, on 11/05/2007, -15/+5the Halo 3 one was funny, but it got kept off the front page by 360 fans.
- Quikster, on 11/02/2007, -32/+17Not like his others. He gets too political and preachy here.
Also, the large concrete fortresses did exist
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flak_tower- briankoenig03, on 11/07/2007, -6/+25I love how mentioning our failures in Vietnam, Korea, Afghanistan, and Iraq is considered "political". Oh....right....he has an accent so he "hates America" and his statement of historical facts doesn't matter.
- strangewill, on 11/01/2007, -0/+2Failures? I believe you mean liberations?
AMIRITE? LAWLS.
I should take Bill O'Riley's job, this ***** is easy.
- strangewill, on 11/01/2007, -0/+2Failures? I believe you mean liberations?

- chillypacman, on 11/07/2007, -10/+50I love the opening sequence, he pretty much summed up the typical Americans mindset on war in a few seconds. His best one yet. Of course they have been steadily improving with every new release so the next one will probably be better. Alas, it will reach its peak one day, what a sad day that will be.
- UtopiaInTheSky, on 11/07/2007, -1/+12Correction: He summed up the American government. :)
- chillypacman, on 11/01/2007, -4/+654% of Americans want to bomb Iran, I beg to differ.
- netant, on 11/07/2007, -1/+13You must be one of those idiots who believe media polls are accurate.
- chillypacman, on 11/01/2007, -1/+2No I'm one of those idiots who saw George Bush get re-elected with the possibility of being replaced by Hillary Clinton who is prettty much 1:1 with GWBs foreign policies.
- chillypacman, on 11/01/2007, -4/+654% of Americans want to bomb Iran, I beg to differ.
- JudgeMonkey, on 11/03/2007, -2/+1Yes, and he does it well. O random person online... you do not.
- UtopiaInTheSky, on 11/07/2007, -1/+12Correction: He summed up the American government. :)
- shinythingy, on 11/03/2007, -6/+4Good review as always but my favorite is Bioshock
- goldfenix, on 11/03/2007, -18/+15America, ***** yeah!
- xjeffx, on 11/03/2007, -4/+2Walmart!
- jamie06260, on 11/07/2007, -5/+21Hahah, this amazing IMO. I loved the one where he reviewed Orange Box and actually said that Portal was good. Which, it was.
- Idgit, on 11/07/2007, -3/+44"cry mich ein river"
lol you got to love Yahtzee - thedarkrabbit, on 11/07/2007, -4/+28Dugg for the line about "It'd have to transport in whores before I cared" or something like that... that was pretty funny.
- CyberSkull, on 10/31/2007, -0/+1If a game could do that, well, do you need any other game?
- Bonobo, on 11/02/2007, -19/+5Alright I get, everyone european hates us now be quiet.
- thesonofdarwin, on 11/01/2007, -4/+10"Alright I get it; everyone hates us. Now be quiet." - Fixed it for ya.
- FyberOptic, on 11/02/2007, -25/+4Sorry, this one came off way too much as a political rant than a game review. I never laughed once. Usually they're extremely funny.
- AwakeningAZ, on 11/07/2007, -3/+24Yahtzee has huge bollocks.
- moskaudancer, on 11/07/2007, -1/+12He's the dog's bollocks.
(I hope I'm using English slang correctly; my gf told me that means he's awesome)- anagoge, on 11/07/2007, -1/+8Dog's bollocks = Good
Bollocks = Bad
- anagoge, on 11/07/2007, -1/+8Dog's bollocks = Good
- skyfire1, on 11/01/2007, -2/+2And you know this because?
- badnewsblair, on 11/03/2007, -1/+1He's also the bee's knees.
- moskaudancer, on 11/07/2007, -1/+12He's the dog's bollocks.
- halik, on 11/03/2007, -1/+9hilarious!
- zdiddy85, on 11/07/2007, -4/+38This man has made me hate most games, even ones I thought I use to like. Now he has made me hate America. Regardless I look forward to the next installation of ZP, :)
- sleeknerve, on 11/03/2007, -5/+2you judge your views on a country on a review of a video game?
- plokij909, on 11/01/2007, -0/+2I know I do!
Yoink!
- plokij909, on 11/01/2007, -0/+2I know I do!
- sleeknerve, on 11/03/2007, -5/+2you judge your views on a country on a review of a video game?
- UtopiaInTheSky, on 11/02/2007, -22/+7I don't think the political rerferences were necessary. America bashing is overly popular in the UK these recent years, apparently... So he'll probably get even more praise for this review.
- DaveDaveson, on 11/07/2007, -2/+16Yes Americans are the true victims.
- FyberOptic, on 11/01/2007, -14/+4Agreed. But he's an angry Brit living in Australia, so he's kind of got the double whammy of anti-American arrogance.
- DaveDaveson, on 11/01/2007, -1/+7I think we're all anti american ignorance.
/lame
- DaveDaveson, on 11/01/2007, -1/+7I think we're all anti american ignorance.
- kewldewd, on 11/02/2007, -0/+14Yes, those poor, poor Americans
- supremesonic, on 11/02/2007, -0/+7Cry mich ein river.
- GrayvDigger, on 11/07/2007, -4/+26In the sequence where you can see the text Yahtzee reads, the text contains... guess what... PUNCTUATION!!! :)
- JudgeMonkey, on 11/01/2007, -0/+2which are promptly destroyed as they leave his mouth. Good sighting though i guess.
- TrevorBradley, on 11/07/2007, -3/+20I know some are going to get frustrated getting dugg down for saying Yahtzee is "too political". But honestly American foreign policy for the last 7 years (sixty?) has really really been that awful.
Why you're not all out on the streets protesting in the millions and holding a general strike until your wars stop is beyond me.- FyberOptic, on 11/03/2007, -3/+4Plenty of people do all the time, and we have plenty of politicians trying to fight the good fight, but that doesn't stop most everyone in other countries from generalizing the US population as all being the same as our ***** government.
- Jagged68, on 11/03/2007, -2/+2We don't protest because we like it. Didn't you even watch Yahtzee's video???
- ShogunWarPig, on 11/03/2007, -1/+3***** yeah!
- CidX, on 11/01/2007, -1/+4We do, you just don't see it because all of our media is controlled by the same people responsible for ***** up this once great nation.
- ps3iscrap, on 11/01/2007, -11/+2Just a minute, its Europe who can't seem to go two generations without starting a world conflict. America was attacked 911, btw, obviously we're going to fight a war and take it to them. I don't understand you Euros.. when it was your wars, you were bitching and screaming about how America didn't join the fight soon enough, but when its America fighting terrorists, you all call us bullies. I wager it is *your* liberal media who is framing America as the bully. At least here in the US we have media diversity that represent all opinions rather than another liberal media monopoly.
- ZenMojo, on 11/01/2007, -2/+8Yes, let's take it to them. I hear there are Arabs in Morocco, let's go ***** up their *****, too! Then let's move on to Egypt, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates (they don't have an army, it should be quick), and Saudi Arabia (19 of 21 were Saudi Arabians...and we already have a military base there...should be easy to mobilize). Oh, and there are brown people in India, so let's go after them.
- ps3iscrap, on 11/01/2007, -5/+1Don't worry, you can continue to cower in the corner. Braver, smarter people will handle this, just like they did in WW2. There were idiots back then too who told us that Hitler was not a threat and we shouldn't get involed.

- CidX, on 11/07/2007, -2/+13Best game reviews ever. This weeks is no exception. Brilliant!
- rikwakefield, on 11/07/2007, -1/+18I think this guy is my hero. Seriously.
- LowROI, on 11/03/2007, -1/+13Yahtzee should replace Andy Rooney on sixty minutes.
- anagoge, on 11/07/2007, -0/+16I think it'd then be Sixty Seconds.
- directive0, on 11/03/2007, -7/+6Yeah its preachy. But you gotta hand it to him, its pretty spot on.
- ps3iscrap, on 11/02/2007, -18/+3He's fun but he comes off like a jealous foreigner with his anti-American rant. The game MOH Airborne is from the POV of the paratroopers of the famous 101st Airborne Division, an *American* division. However, many missions involve battles where Brits were heavily involved, such as Market Garden, etc.
Regarding America's "obsession" with WW2, any serious WW2 gamer would recall Call of Duty 2 where you could play missions as other allied forces by being either the Brits or Russians.- yutt, on 11/01/2007, -0/+7Yup. I'm sure while reviewing the game he was *really* trying to secretly express his envy for not being part of the 101st Airborne Division...
Regarding Call of Duty 2... it was created by an American company. Americans are obsessed with World War II. I'm American. Look around at your media, especially video games and movies.- ps3iscrap, on 11/01/2007, -8/+2Your comment means very little, although it clearly shows your disdain for your own country. There are many more American movies about other subjects besides WW2. Would you surmise that America is also obsessed with horror? Would you say that America is obsessed with love? Because there's thousands of American movies about those two subjects alone. Regarding games, again there are many games with horror themes, or with sporting themes, so are we more obsessed with sports than WW2? Honestly, you should reconsider your silly assertion because you sound kinda dumb.
- yutt, on 11/03/2007, -0/+2What the hell are you talking about disdain for my country?
You people are ***** wacky.
- yutt, on 11/03/2007, -0/+2What the hell are you talking about disdain for my country?
- JenadaeXX, on 11/03/2007, -3/+1Hush, no one wants to listen to you here.
- ps3iscrap, on 11/01/2007, -5/+1Love those insightful, thought provoking digg retorts.
- adraft, on 11/01/2007, -0/+1WWII is a great story to tell, I don't care how many video games or movies cover it, I'll still watch them all with equal excitement.
- ps3iscrap, on 11/01/2007, -8/+2Your comment means very little, although it clearly shows your disdain for your own country. There are many more American movies about other subjects besides WW2. - JenadaeXX, on 11/07/2007, -2/+8That was definitely the best yet
- ZenMojo, on 11/07/2007, -1/+8Smart, biting commentary on not just video games but the place of video games in our popular culture. This guy is ***** brilliant.
- BrandonMills, on 11/07/2007, -1/+12Call of Duty 4, while more than likely is a better crafted game, has that same kind of prowar slant to it as well. I just about force quite and uninstalled when a Condi quote popped up when I died. Yeah...thanks, but no thanks.
- IgWannA, on 11/01/2007, -0/+3funny as always!
- Signa91, on 11/07/2007, -0/+18Le *****.
- mik3pass, on 11/05/2007, -11/+4Hmmm... This does absolutely nothing to convince me otherwise, that Yahtzee is a brain-dead moron with not a clue as to what he's talking he's talking about, who's only talents are in reading off a scrap of paper in a fast monotoned babble, whilst, of course, filling the screen with colorful barrage of stick figures doing nothing whatsoever that correlates to the game in which he's reviewing. Though. It is an improvement.
- Flashman, on 10/31/2007, -1/+2People are bitching and moaning like his opinion really matters. It's an entertaining game review, kids, not a speech from the floor of Congress.
- xNaquada, on 11/03/2007, -1/+1Blasphemy; bring forth the fire!
- CyberSkull, on 11/07/2007, -0/+9WWII is the war America obsesses over. It's the clear and unambiguous win over evil every politician that has gone to war since has wanted. Instead we got Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Iraq 2: The Sequel, Afghanistan and coming soon: Iran. The point is that there hasn't been such a victory for US politicians since WWII.
- adraft, on 11/01/2007, -0/+1Well I'm enlisting in 2 years so if there is a war with Iran I sure as hell hope it goes well.
- rmeddy, on 11/01/2007, -0/+2Hilarious.
- 13tongimp, on 11/02/2007, -7/+2Where is the funny?
- xNaquada, on 11/01/2007, -0/+4Was all over the place, sorry!
- Xinephzero, on 11/02/2007, -0/+2Soaring over your head.
- GreatDrok, on 11/03/2007, -1/+3The best part is that he just saved me NZ$100. I was seriously considering buying this. Now I think I'll just go back and play Allied Assault. Again. That game was cool. But not Spearhead or any of the other crap that came after it.
- adraft, on 11/01/2007, -0/+1I wish he had reviewed it before I bought this game, it's mega, mega sucky. The Germans can pick off any part of your body that is even the slightest bit exposed, he wasn't kidding about that. Plenty of teeth grinding, controller smashing moments to be had in Airborne. MP is no better, as Axis you can shoot the Allies out of the sky as they drop, and as Allied you can drop onto and insta-kick-to-death the Axis. Very, very frustrating.
- jmahorney, on 11/03/2007, -1/+1awsome as always. This guy is a star.
