- stealthboy, on 10/12/2007, -13/+65yes.
- williej81, on 10/12/2007, -2/+32People seem to forget that on the internet, you simply don't have to click on a link so as not to view it. So if you don't want to look at the manual, just don't click on the link that takes you there.
- the3kgt2, on 10/12/2007, -10/+30Does every Wii manual need to be posted to Digg?
- PigThief, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17Do you have any idea what you're talking about? You don't need to wave the remote around like a sword (although it would be fun unless you're too insecure to be seen doing something so "kiddy"); you can simply flick your wrist a tiny amount for the same effect.
- daridave, on 10/12/2007, -2/+19Note:
Start from the last picture and go backwards. - Lackadaisy, on 10/12/2007, -3/+19Yeah, there's so little "diggspace" to go around isn't there. If we're not careful we'll fill up the tubes with scans of zelda manuals and not have any room for the colbert report clips to get through.

His name is Link - rand21althor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12I'm making an effort not to read any of that, about the game's story. I'm going to let it all be new on the first time I play the game, next week. I remember the first time I ever played both Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, and how magical and exciting it was to see the story unfold for the very first time. I want that same experience with Twilight Princess. That's why I'm not watching any gameplay footage of late that shows story, or reading anything in reviews or whatever that involves story. I want it all to be new when I first play the game.
- Lackadaisy, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14Thanks dustedbunny, for your opinion. I'll be over here having fun not giving a ***** what some jackasses think i *look* like. Get your head out of your ass and let go of that ***** and maybe you'll enjoy yourself.
- xrisnothing, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12I dugg this, because I'd rather read about the controls from the source than some lametard blogger.
- chriskzoo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11Must not have been a fanboy that scanned it, otherwise the pages would have been stuck together.
- oyam19, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9After looking at just three of the pages I've now decided that I'm getting a Wii, i was going to wait, but now i have to get it...
- gravylookout, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9RTFA! Out side of fishing and basic menu pointing it looks like the motion controls are used less that 10% of the time.
I think getting used to a new console's controls will be a welcome challenge by many gamers. We've always been slowly introduced to new controls. Simple joysticks and single buttons to the two button d-pad combo on the nes. Then three buttons on sega moving to four on the snes with shoulder buttons. Then the playstation. N64 introduces an analog joystick and a more trigger like z button. All the way up to the xbox and the PS2.
But I don't think we've ever had a jump like this. One controller for each hand, motion sensing and accurate pointing abilities. From the very beginning it was very intuitive, but this is a jump! I can't wait and I think this game looks awesome!
Obligatory Zelda FTW!!! - whiskerlickins, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8@dustedbunny
Insecure much? My friends are twentysomethings and we don't give a crap how we're going to "look" when we're having a good time.
We enjoy playing DDR half drunk. ;) Good times. - kiheimac, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9This Ooccoo and Ooccoo Jr. creature is really freaking my ass out.

Haha, so being 19 places you above the Wii crowd? What's with all these teenagers who think they've graduated from diapers to big boy pants? Seriously, grow up. When you no longer care about looking like a kid, you'll be an adult.
Until then... - billymachine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Forget that. I'm gonna swing the HELL out of my Wiimote, and I am going to LIKE it!
- spect3r, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8If you don't like "game manuals" then don't digg them.
Simple as that. - Quinion, on 10/12/2007, -6/+12Where are my PS3 manuals...o wait there arent any unique games....Sorry guys :P
- rhesuspieces00, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6yeah dude, I'm with you on that. pink eyes, lime green nipples...bad times.
- Methodius, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6@rand21althor
What really baffles me is these people that are taking the time to write/record everything going down during TP. Speaking as a part-time gaming journalist, I can tell you that I'm not exactly going to have a notepad, pencil, stopwatch, etc. handy when I finally get to sit down with Twilight Princess. If my editor were to ask me to stop playing and write my first impressions, it would be tempting to make the 3 hour round-trip to Oklahoma City just to flip him the bird in person. I wouldn't ever consider ruining the game for myself ahead of time, but I can't fathom these game journos that are ruining the experience for themselves during play. - eurocrisp, on 10/12/2007, -10/+15reports of ps3 failures.
- negativefx, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7@dustedbunny: im sure nintendo could care less if you bought one anyway.
- Methodius, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4You don't even have to do those big swinging motions and what-not.
PA said it best: http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2006/11/13 - unibomber999, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I don't care about reading manuals for games that I don't own, but really Catpounce, how big of a ***** loser are you that you care that much about what makes the front page on Digg.
Get a life and read something else if seeing posts that you think are lame turns you into a giant douchebag. - Hearshot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I can't get enough Wii diggs. I played it today at EB and i love this thing.
- Lackadaisy, on 10/12/2007, -6/+9@catpounce, the part where you couldn't figure out how to not click on it
- rand21althor, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Thank you both to those who posted those scans on Photobucket, and to ATLBeer for posting this story on Digg. I love looking through the instruction booklet. However, it makes these last few days of wait so much more unbearable. :(
- rhesuspieces00, on 10/12/2007, -5/+8@catpounce004
We understand, we just don't ***** care what you think. Go start your own news site if it bothers you and you can whine all you want. - melkore, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3gamespy has the first review
5/5 Stars - CircusNinja, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3********* DON'T CLICK ON THIS LINK!!! My virus scanner just went ape-*****!

***** lame man....
http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_130621.htm - ahhell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Who cares about the manual...where are the reviews????
- rand21althor, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3So that's pretty much like...Farore's Wind, or whatever it was, in OoT, that let you set warp points in dungeons. I found that item quite useless, actually. And yes, Ooccoo does look bizarre.
- eric1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Where did you get it, if I might ask? All the stores I talked to won't sell me anything yet.
- Bigopinion, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I don't know why they uploaded backwards but they're all there! Sorry for anyone who finds it horribly inconvenient to preview the pictures *backwards* instead of *forwards*.
Anyways, hope you guys enjoy. I've got the Red Steel manual too but haven't scanned it in yet, there really isn't a whole lot worth scanning. As far as sensationalizing instruction manuals goes, Zelda's is probably the loudest of all the Wii launch titles available as of today. - eric1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Old, tired argument. You can't develop for a motion sensitive controller unless you include it with each game. With the Wii, you can count on the user having the controller. No other controller developed as an afterthought can claim that.
- Methodius, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@catpounce
You do realize that we can't exactly "go out and buy one" just yet?
"this is porn for the gen x-ers."
Except that I'm ***** 20, and this isn't exactly pornographic in nature.
And to the guy who was bitching about LOST, I wish to applaud you for not going into the comment threads of your nemesis article, and ***** trolling all day. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Who posted porn on my Internets?
- Braxo, on 10/12/2007, -5/+6me too actually
- rauz, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4Spent five minutes trying to find out what kind of new internet meme "goon nolen" was but now I realize it has to be a goon at SA named Nolen :(
- Bigopinion, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Took the album down -- you ate my bandwidth :<
We're getting it in less than a day anyways!!! - Braingoo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Ok we got the Wii Manual and the TP Manual
When do we get the BM manual - hannahmar, on 06/11/2009, -1/+2I'm so excited! This game looks so freakin' awesome.
- Bigopinion, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2nolen bought the game and scanned them in, I cropped them and resized for something better on smaller resolutions and nicer to bandwidth.
It all depends on if you have a preorder (mainly this) and if the store's gotten their shipments in. I got a call to pick up Red Steel last night, nolen got TP this way the night before last, and some other SA members have already picked up Super Monkey Ball. They all had preorders though so this is probably why you can't find them in stores yet. - billymachine, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4.... No?
- Methodius, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2It's really for the same reason that XBOX 360 developers can never assume that the consumers have a hard disk, because the ***** core system didn't have one standard. If there's a chance that your buyers don't support a certain feature, then it's not a great idea to include said feature.
If another console made something like the Wii-mote, it would be like the Donkey Conga or the DDR dance pad. Cool, but not a staple. - DragonAura, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1YOUR diggspace...? Puh-lease, we don't need your whining here.
- marcomc2, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2as for me, i want to know as little as possible, to experience Hyrule as Link once again, without any knowledge leading me to kinda know whats gonna happen/is happening. know what i mean? its just that, ocarina of time was so glorious it makes me cry, and i need that again with this. if you dont understand (cause you dont love zelda), call me gay please and digg me down.
- catpounce004, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You know what? Y'all are right. This *is* a loser site and you're loser idiots that think I have no right to voice what I think and if you were in front of me, I'd kick your ass for that offence.
So you're right. I'm outta here. Until the digg populace grows up (wait, that'll be never) and the other ***** problems are fixed (that'll be never) I'm outta here. This is ain't the first time I've blocked a site from my network. Sadly, it won't be the last. So, go back to masturbating to dumbass posts. I hope ya go blind. - CrazyPsychoPeon, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3*drool*
