- nider, on 10/12/2007, -0/+23I like both looks but this just increased my yearning for this game to be released.
At the moment I can't get enough new information on Twilight Princess, the DS Lite and Wii!! more more! - iluvatar, on 10/12/2007, -2/+25If that's the case then you're on the right website. Digg has been going nuts with Nintendo info lately...
/not that I'm complaining, mind you - msprout, on 10/12/2007, -3/+22No pun intended?
- trib4lmaniac, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16Whilst the desaturated look was pretty neat, I think it would have gotten a little monotonous after a while.
- Sirocco, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15Damn, and I was actually looking forward to the greyscale Twilight areas of the game. Hopefully it'll still be worked into the game for a small(er) segment, like a dungeon or specific locale.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12I think that Digg's de-emphasis of signatures and links is a good thing--it makes the conversations flow well without distracting text in between, and it keeps traffic whores from rushing to make crappy posts in order to gain hits. The lack of huge flashy avatars/giant banners in signatures is also a big plus! If people really want to see your info, they can always click on your username.
- elnerdo, on 10/12/2007, -6/+17-1 for spamming.
Will people ever learn? - Klarth, on 10/12/2007, -4/+15Fact is, it isn't built into his message. He's adding it in himself to gain hits on his website through a high-traffic locale like Digg, and plus, he's spamming a link to his site in an inappropriate place on the site. Think before you reply, sir.
I'm hoping that "hazy" doesn't mean "fogged so you can't see five feet in front of your face". - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10If you've play most zelda games, you will find two realms in each. The first one you start out in is normal and happy, then the second one something terrible happens, or time goes forward and it becomes gloomy/different. By changing the color the really create an air of difference. I like it.
- iluvatar, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13perhaps the saturated look and the black-and-white look are just two different parts of the game?
- LycoLoco, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11And everyone who stood in that incredibly long line at E3 to play the "sucky" Wii agrees with you...
- kriegs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I like both versions to be honest. I just want to play it. I love how this games getting more polished with the unending delays.
- gi4d2, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8maybe its just me, but i liked it better in black and white, though it does look good with colour.
- krakelohm, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8let go of your oral fixation ;)
- Goosey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Actually dogs can see in color, although muted color. Similar to red/green colorblind humans.
- Catachresis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3it certainly fits with the "twilight" name. twilight always seems hazy-and soft focus in real life, rather than cold and bleak.
maybe that's because i've generally had a few drinks by twilight - LandStander, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3This is the first time I've seen anything about this part of the game. I like the Before picture better. The new one seems like it would hurt my eyes too much. Kinda reminds me of the 'Trails' or w/e from Vice City that I turned off.
- Lososaurus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3The greys looked nice and gave a dark mood to the Twilight Realm, but the new coloring/effects make it seem much more....alien, which I really like.
- vbsurfer, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Digging anything Zelda at the moment. I can't wait.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3incase the site goes down, here's a link to the full scan

nacho libre
lol - mostman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Hmm. Someone must have noticed this before - first time for me.
Searching via Google for something + 'release date' gives you just that - a release date. Look here:

How long has this been in there? - n3rrd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Am I the only person that was completely disappointed by black and white shots? Most of the early pictures of the wolf form were incredibly bland, with horrible modelling and texturing. It just looked as though it was lower quality than everything else.
The black and white look would have been great if they didn't go and ruin it by tossing in that orange and tourquoise arm jutting out of the guys head. Atleast pick more muted colors if you're going to go that route...
I, for one, welcome the change. I think it looks great. - beervolcano, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I'm in agreement with a few comments from earlier.
1. The colors should have been muted instead of in black & white.
2. This style should be the effect of being in the wolf form and being able to "see" the scents of the world.
I think that it would have been very cool like this. The splashes of color could be used for scents and they could be "misty" & oversaturated. Furthermore, weaknesses could be found on enemies/bosses through scenting. I think that this could have added an extremely unique aspect to the game, like the sailing & cell-shading did in Wind Waker. - Konrad9, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Uh... scans of something that is still on the shelf is rather illegal.

More of it. - Rasitiln, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Looks like the spectral relm from the Soul Reaver/Defiance games
- skydivingdutch, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Reminds me of the shadow realm (i think?) in the Soul Reaver games
- makey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2That looks very cool. I am glad to see some innovation in a game, especially with the trend of releasing bland shoot-em ups popular among developers today.
- TheBrandman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Are there any more magazine scans or is there just that one page?
- MightyGiant, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3That imageshack image isn't going to last long.
- lbeaty1981, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah, the article said the black-and-white aspect was a bit too depressing to keep going for too long. Personally, I kind of like gloomy and depressing, but I can see how it could get old after a while. The new coloring and effects definitely look nice, though. Can't wait to try it out!
- Mullinator, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Personally I was kind of hoping for the black and white look but with extremelly strange and unusual shaders being used to give it a really weird and unique look. I like this new look however and I won't complain simply because the Zelda developers are really some of the few game developers who I will not question.
- VeganG, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Okay, that's a relief, I was worried that they had gone HDR-crazy with the entire game.
- tafkase7en, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Good move on Nintendo's part, the new look is much more pleasing. The old twilight realm was cool...this one is cooler.
- Alegis, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I love the new look, black/white seemed a bit depressing indeed.
Ah, renewed my interest for the game - bigpixl, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2I'll eat it up with a spoon.
- booksquirrel, on 02/13/2009, -0/+0yes I agree with you !
- manzk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1why not call it the twilight zone?....
(sorry, couldn't resist) - rainmanbk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Looks great! Can't wait!
- ZeroMP, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Oh no! Shut it down guys, the intellectual property police are here!
But really though I can't wait for this game. Before seeing shots of it I was
debating whether I would buy a Wii or not - now I'm pretty sure I'll have to.
And for everyone complaining about the name - give me a break. If you would
decide not to buy a system solely based on a silly name, then you have some
sort of self-esteem issues I think. - TheBrandman, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4Can't dogs only see black and white? I thought that was realism, not style.
- skatingrox, on 10/12/2007, -5/+4Maybe Nintendo will rename it to Zelda Twiilight Princess.
- deldigger, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1I am surprised that no one dugg the story on the DS lite Black.Cool
Delldigor - Bunkalnarf, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1Looks awesome!
- Otto, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1LycoLoco: Yes, in point of fact they all do. Because while they were admiring the games and neat control mechanisms and such, they were all saying to each other "too bad about the name though" and other such similar things. There were opinions expressed by people that they would probably buy one anyway, but had to think about it because of the ***** name.
Seriously, watch any of the videos online about the Nintendo E3 booth, and listen to the background chatter instead of watching the cool game. - masonreloaded, on 10/12/2007, -9/+2Just out of interest, why is it that Digg is so anti-signatures/links? In any other forum, newsgroup, discussion group, people have links all over their signatures - why the hate here?
- elnerdo, on 10/12/2007, -19/+6Oh, I just got the pun ( Yeah, I'm a little slow today )
For anybody else who's a tad slow: Monotonous has a dual meaning
1. Boring
2. One-Tone ( Grayscale ) - PRESS_00, on 10/12/2007, -25/+4If you're refderring to the link on the bottom of his comment then you're wrong to digg him down. That area is what whe call a signature. It is even separated by the dotted line so you can distinguish it from the message.
- namelyk, on 10/12/2007, -24/+3Now all they need are guns and butter.
