- quasipalm, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9Ok, I'm not a prude, or even religious... but do we really need ass sucking mentioned on the front page?
- vermin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Video games haven't really sucked THAT bad, but it's true that I just don't play many games anymore. Maybe it's just me growing up, but I want to like games, I just can't really bring myself to play them much. Something new is needed to bring back that enthusiasm.
- SuperSunny, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Lazyguy, you aren't understanding the aspect of innovation. Differenciality. Zelda 64 is no where like the other Zelda games. It introduced a new way to control characters and use them.
Mario Kart 64 introduced brand new functionality of how racing games can contain non-realistic styles of gameplay, but be much more fun than those that are realistic.
Mario Games are COMPLETELY innovative. A Racoon Suit that enables you to smack enemies with your tail and fly? I didn't see that in Super Mario Brothers 1. Neither did I see a world map with enemies that shift depending on your position for a 2D game so old. Each game changes a bit of style. Super Mario World allowed complete access on your position, and even "vehicles" aka Yoshi.
They introduce new styles of play. Metroid Prime is nothing like Super Metroid. Like the other guy said, it changed standard FPS into FPA, First Person Adventure with so much to do.
If what you were saying was indeed true, Nintendo would be incredibly stupid. I doubt they are, they turned Video Games into amazing pieces of art.
This article was not meant to say that FPS games and other games have no innovation. FarCry Instincts for instance has a hell load of innovation, such as boosted up player, predator-like abilities, and free-form action. It is meant to talk about the general direction of video games.
Nintendo releases new designs of such things like the gba because of USER responses. AKA YOUR responses. People complain like mad about one thing. They add it, upgrade more stuff, combine, and release. It is not a bad aspect, atleast it shows they are listening.
All I see lately are recreations, such as World War games, and hyped up games that just suck completely.
"Mario kart's sequel, Mario kart 64 wasnt so new. They just updated graphics and threw in maps and weapons. Woohoo. Innovative stuff there."
You try completely recoding a new game with a new engine. It is not the same at all. Play them before you make such a blank statement. I found Mario Kart 64 to be nothing like Mario Kart for SNES. I did not find Super Mario Bros. 1 to be anything like 2 or 3. In fact, 3 was almost nothing like 1 besides enemies and characters. The gameplay was entirely different. - thirdplanet, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3The Revolution controller is going to Revolutionize FPSes.
I brought Donkey Konga (after about 100 dollar investment in bongos and games) to my high school, and hooked it up to a TV at lunchtime. In about 5 minutes, I had all sorts of people lined up to play. Jocks, nerds, smart kids, and the ones who ride the short bus were all eager to play this game--while simple in concept, there was a definite learning curve. Everyone was laughing, having a good time, and playing this game fairly well minutes after seeing it. Many kids came up to me later to tell me that they had gone out and gotten a Gamecube and thank you.
A lot of these kids were Halo Junkies who loved thier X-Boxes for Madden and Halo. There is not much of a difference between Madden 05 and Madden 06, and if Halo improves as much between 2 and 3 as it did between 1 and 2 i'm going to cry out of disapointment. Most games Nintendo release may not be great--although a lot of them are--but at least they're different. As Matt Damon said in GWH "At least i'm not unoriginal."
My childhood was spent playing games, and it'll take Nintendo to keep me playing video games for years to come. - Abyss_908, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I don't agree video games have sucked ass for 2-3 years. I think there is a lack of originality but then games like FEAR and Katamiri come out. There are plently of good games on the PC right now. Currently I'm just bored of console gaming since there hasn't been a really decent PS2 game since last holiday season and the 360 games are just Xbox or PC ports. PC gaming now rules. I can't wait for Elder Scrolls 4.
- SuperSunny, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Our entire fanbase of people give into everything so easily. Because a game has publicity they think it rocks (aka Enter the Matrix haha) but in reality, they don't know any better.
Personally, I have had more fun playing my Gamecube than my Ps2 (which is dusty now everything is so dull for it), and my xbox.
Why? Because of Super Smash Brothers, Zelda, and Metroid Prime Series. I hardly get bored, and they are INCREDIBLY innovative and styled differently. I HATE people who know ***** and go "gamecube is for kiddies/nintendo makes child games"
I find many of their games difficult, challanging, and different. WHO CARES if it's Mario, atleast it shows Nintendo is trying to head in the right direction.
Though I am a strong fan of War FPS games, I am SICK OF THEM. They all remake almost the same era, and it's just boring now.
Standard FPS is slowly losing its touch. MMORPG's are released too often, too much money.
Same old, same old.
Innovative games can be a hit, even if they are not that good. Remember Katamari? That was fun, unique, some did not like it, others did, but it showed the creative side of video games.
How many of ya guys have fun playing Super Mario Brothers? I do, graphics are 8 bit (or 16 bit for SNES), but it is STILL fun as hell. It was/is a unique platformer game of its era.
I'd say within a week, I'd be playing my Ps2 a mere 15 minutes. I'd be playing my xbox 1 to 2 hours. I'd be playing my Gamecube a few hours. It does not...die, or lose touch. Simple console, and very fast too. People over look that. - DevilsRejection, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4an fps is an fps is an fps
- Ramble, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I fail to see how gaming has been crap for years, we've had Far Cry, Half-Life 2, Doom 3, Quake 4, WoW and tons of other mods for existing games (Half-Life 2).
- ModernTenshi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3From what I've seen, PS2 and Xbox have the majority of crappy games. There was an argument on a forum I moderate, trying to decide why Nintendo is regarded as the kiddie console. The concensus from most of the younger crowd seemed to be this: Xbox and PS2 have more M-rated titles.
Intregued by this, I crunched some numbers a while back, and found some interesting results. Where the Xbox is concerned, of all the titles released for the system, 22% were rated M. A quick glance over at the numbers at gameratings.com (a veritable RottenTomatoes for video game reviews) reveiled the most interesting aspect, though. Assuming a good game is one that rates 80% or higher (therefore "worth" playing, having a high replay value, etc.), only about 1/3 of the M rated titles scored 80% or better. Sorry to say, but I kinda put that argument to rest. Sure it may have more M-rated titles, but less than half of them are even good.
I hate to tell you all, but Reggie is right. Too many companies are releasing games today, basing their greatness on visuals and not actual gameplay. Add to this the rising cost of "super systems", and the complexity of their control schemes, and it paints a bad picture. Nintendo is smart for trying to thwart this before it's too late. - Urusai, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"disruptive"
So the new buzzword for innovation is a negatively loaded word implying ruination? How appropriate to our age. - TrainwreckX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"I still play starcraft..
anyone want my xbox 360? =]"
It is as if you read my mind.
Look, a lot of people think it is the "cool thing to do" to be anti-Nintendo because "ZOMG ALL GAMES FOR KIDZ LIKE YOUR GAY MARIO FOR TEH PURPLE CUBE MACHINES."
However, we owe everything to NIntendo, EVERYTHING. Nintendo is the reason why everything is the way it is. They are the reason there is a "standard" controller, and who says they can't set the new "standard."
I could go on and on, but you have heard it all. If you think anything but good for Nintendo, you are just ignorant, or a fanboy, which is a different type of ignorant.
I say: "Liberate me Nintendo." - tokyopimp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2No gaming has not sucked in the last 2-3 years! WTF, FEAR, HL2, Far Cry, Dungeon Siege 2, WoW, Age Of Empires 3... wtf are you smoking. That's just the tip of the iceberg.
- SuperSunny, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Do NOT forget that PC gaming is only availible to those with the correct hardware and systems. It is only good for a certain few, and I am a fellow PC gamer. Compatibility is at a low stream.
- Fizban119, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I own the following systems: NES, SNES, N64, GC, GameBoyColor, GameBoy Advance, PS1, PS2, XBOX, XBOX 360, PSP, (No DS), and a PC with: Geforce 6800 GT, 1 GB of Ram, a AMD 2.4 Ghz Processor, and a 400 GB Hard Drive.
Nintendo has had many innovative games, but that doesn't mean that the games that they make are good. It's literally impossible for anyone to not get bored of Nintendogs after two hours tops. Donkey Konga: *****. Mario Tennis, Mario Golf, Mario Basketball, Mario Football, Mario Baseball: Minigames that capture the attention for two hours. Nintendo has made some of THE greatest games of all time: Goldeneye, Super Mario World for SNES, Super Mario for N64, Super Smash Bros, etc, but many of the greatest Nintendo games were made a long time ago. Nintendo has no good fps games, no really good rpgs, besides the fact that there is no such thing as a RTS for a console. I wish Nintendo would go die.
/End Rant
PC Gaming is where its at. - flashmatt, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I'm all excited about the next generation of video game consoles, but this is getting out of hand, especially when it comes to Nintendo Revolution. Seriously, every time an exec takes a *****, someone has to blog about it.
This is all regurgitation from what they said last year when they released the controller: they are trying to try something new, shake up the industry, and bring new people to the market. That's basically what this article, and many others on digg, are saying. It's unbelievable the amount of Nintendo Revolution articles get posted on the front page of digg that don't offer any news, just more marketing *****. Seriously guys/gals, enough is enough!
No digg, this is ridiculous. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2"...disruptive changes are going to change the video game market." Wow, so a change is going to change things? ;)
(Seriously, though) Nintendo saying video games suck right now makes me laugh. There's a reason the GC is doing the worst of all the consoles.
If only their ROM system for the Revolution would be free (and allow you to use the original controllers through adapters), I would consider getting it. As it is, my computer does fine for now, and I'm not limited to Nintendo.
*boots up Zero Wing* - Drahknon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Games are like books, music, theatre and every other form of art or entertainment. 90% of it is dreck, 9% passable, and 1% truly great.
It's always been that way. It always will be. - reaver, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4Gaming hasn't sucked the last 2-3 years, it's been amazing. And nintendo releasing Mario baseball version 2982914 will not help gaming.
- Cerberus047, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Nintendo tends to "revolutionalize" the gaming industry a lot.

"(Seriously, though) Nintendo saying video games suck right now makes me laugh. There's a reason the GC is doing the worst of all the consoles."
Thats not true really.... in worldwide sales it did extremly well considering low price and fun games, it did better than xbox, yes you can quote me on that. and the handheld section of nintendo will never be beat by anyone!!! ive spent like 3 years of my life on a gameboy advance and i will spend another 3 on my ds...... - jpyun, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry, own.
- terminalpariah, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2It took the Gamecube to get me back into video games. I built a gaming rig, played Doom 3 and Half Life 2, got bored in a couple of weeks and got rid of them. A friend of mine loaned me his Cube and Animal Crossing. Before I knew it I was at Wal-Mart picking up my own console, controllers, memory cards and games. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is my favourite game of all time. Wind Waker was amazing and would have gotten rave reviews (perhaps "Zelda killer?") had it been from a third party.
So what if there are 3 Mario Golf games? They're all really fun, with great graphics and perfect controls. And for every Mario sports title there's a Wario Ware, Pikmin, Smash Bros. or Nintendogs - who else in the industry is making fun, innovative games like these? And with as much polish? - SuperSunny, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Fizban, ya competely missed something. Metroid Prime can be considered an FPS. It was one of the greatest games ever made also.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2im gonna go with the smart people on this one, gaming HAS sucked - Console gaming that is
and we all know that is what he is talking about, not FEAR (which still sucks, IMO) or WoW
nintendo isn't stupid enough to try and lure pc gamers from their 'rigs', they'd have more luck getting brad pitt in a gay porno
The only console i've played in the past 3 months was PS2, only for DDR and Guitar Hero, before it The Cube with Advance Wars
for now i'm just hooked on the DS, my psp is literally on the floor of my car take one guess:
Innovation. - dracula7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1the hl2 engine is a special case--it took so long to develop because of the pc platform being so extendible...
if it was made for console release id expect it to takeee sooooo much less time. gaming on the pc is NEATO for the multiplayer and keyboard/mouse setup , but the revolutions gonna make it completely POINTLESS - birch25, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2most people don't play games, and the people who are gamers aren't playing as much as they used to. in the past few years, the best games have been the ones that took what was already great about games and put them together very well. katamari damacy was the only game that comes to mind when i think of games that really made me excited about gaming again. physics are awesome and more polygons are always good things, but better technology is not the only way games can improve/innovate.
look a t the movie industry. do you want to watch the same movies they were making in the 50s with lord of the rings quality special effects? no. you want new, innovative movies unlike anything you've ever seen.
i guarantee the revolution will offer experiences unlike any you've ever had, while the xbox360 and ps3 will offer you the same games we've been playing for 10 years already with more polygons and physics. - dracula7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Nintendo tends to "revolutionalize" the gaming industry a lot.

the point is nintendo is responsible for gaming as we know it now, and theyre always trying to keep things going... with their engineering, design, and gaming experience i dont think they could ever release something like the virtual boy to the public. the nintendo ds, for example, is instantly a classic------the psp is SO temporary.
reggee knows what hes talking about
read this to : http://money.cnn.com/2005/06/02/commentary/game_over/column_gaming/index.htm - kenyon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Let's not worry too much about PC games here. They're fine. There have been great releases in the last couple of years.
What we need to worry about is the games being pushed for next gen consoles. I had a quick look at gamerankings.com and found the following listed for PS3 and XBOX360
--Xbox360 - Top Games--
Call of Duty 2
Dead or Alive 4
Perfect Dark Zero
King Kong
Ridge Racer 5
Quake 4
--PS3 Popular (previews)--
Medal of Honor: Airborne
Resident Evil 5
Final Fantasy VII
Metal Gear Solid 4
Vision Gran Turismo
Fight Night Round 3
Devil May Cry 4
Killzone PS3
Fear & Respect
Redwood Falls
There are an awful lot of numbers on the ends of all those games. This is what we should be worried about. Out of those sixteen games listed, only three seem to be originals. All the rest seem to be just new versions of old games.
Granted, the industry may well have been like this since day one. But seeing that list of launch games for PS3 doesn't motivate me at all. - ShadySpace, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Metroid Prime can be considered an FPS. It was one of the greatest games ever made also."
Semi-true, but in fact it actually spawned an entire new genre: FPA (First Person Adventure). The focus wasn't on blasting everything in sight, it was about exploration of beautiful and haunting areas, collecting items, the amazing score, etc. The control scheme proves this. If Metroid Prime was a FPS, it would have sucked due to ***** targeting and a slow-moving character. But because it wasn't, I agree with you: it is one of the best games ever made. - firen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0im guessing he hasnt played God of War, We
- Sirocco, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0As much as I enjoy PC gaming, all I *ever* hear is : FPS, FPS, FPS, RTS, FPS, FPS, FPS, MMORPG.
Wow, such amazing diversity. PC gaming ees dead. - SuperSunny, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Rumble, from I believe, was started by Nintendo, then Sony copied it for the dual shock.
Wireless Free Online Play, obviously it was done, but it was never done on a built-up version of one of the best racing games ever, Mario Kart 64 to Mario Kart DS. It's so popular because of it. I have hundreds of memories just playing Mario Kart 64. - FlushMcGee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I still play starcraft..
anyone want my xbox 360? =] - dwhitbeck, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Metroid Prime a first person shooter? I guess, but it stands out for originality. All kinds of interesting effects besides just blasting other people. The ball is a really nifty. Metroid Prime is one of a kind.
- ShadySpace, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Horse *****. Innovation is always welcome, but only an idiot would make the statement "We all know gaming has been sucking ass for about 2 or 3 years now. There are one or two great titles that have come out, but the rest is mediocre crap". I've been playing games for at least 25 years, and I've probably bought more games in the last five years than I did in the twenty before."
Keep in mind Reggie does not state that in the actual article. He hardly implies it, even. The poster added his own spin in the summary. - SuperSunny, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0So do I atf487, so do I...
- DS513, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1RE: Kenyon's Comment (and topic in general)
I hate to play the Devil's advocate here, but hasn't Nintendo really just perpetuated the trend of "sequelitus" in video games today? Sure, Mario, DK, and Wario are cool characters, but there's only so many spin-offs you can do of tired nostalgic 80's platforming characters. With the Revolution, Nintendo may just do what they've been doing for 10+ years, repackaging old material, shining it up a bit and reselling it (with the backwards compatability feature). If Revolution is going to succeed, it's going to have to bring something new to the table.
Looking at the approach Nintendo is taking, it looks like the Revolution may revitalize gaming by making a system which de-emphasizes graphics in favor of gameplay, but I'm skeptical. I guess much of the success will hinge on how friendly Nintendo is to small, idealistic 3rd party game companies.
Dugg because it's an intreresing read. I'm rooting for you, Nintendo! - mofomojo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"No gaming has not sucked in the last 2-3 years! WTF, FEAR, HL2, Far Cry, Dungeon Siege 2, WoW, Age Of Empires 3... wtf are you smoking. That's just the tip of the iceberg."
Ah, the critique of the non-critical gamer.
Age Of Empires 3 was all right, but not as good as the first two. How they flashied everything up really ruined the strategic feeling of the game. Technologically and in popularity these games are good. But there are better.
I don't want 3 of the same games, with each of sequels purchased for new and better graphical enhancements. I do not care for graphical enhancements. When I am playing a game, the thing that catches my attention is not "Wow, these graphics sure are great!", no it isn't. It's more like "Wow, this game-play sure is un-original".
You may not be a critical thinker like the rest of us.
He didn't mean "one or two" in a literal sense, he meant it in a ratio with all the games that have been produced the in past 4 years. Maybe 600 games were made in that time, over 90% of those were absolutely not worth playing. Why?
Because developers do not want to take risks. They want to stick with what is tried and true, video game development is such a risky business developers can't afford to take risks in such a tight market as it is right now.
The lack of great games, like the lack of good movies is all the general consumers' fault. People buy too much crap that they don't really want. I do not want to play crappy PD remakes, I do not want to play crappy console FPSes.
The problem is, when buying a game, graphics are most important to idio - .. wait.. - consumers. They think that this will be the greatest and possibly last game they will need to buy because it is so great, which is why they are buying it.
Then they play the game and discover it's total crap.
I seriously think people buy things just to have more crap around to show off and surround themselves with crappy possessions to fulfill their lives. This is what is killing video-games. - dracula7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0actually you just quoted DevilsRejection (the submitor) - nintendo's only concern is that the industry isnt growing... same market and sales numbers (which is hard to believe) as the early 90s.
innovation really is key, because the same kind of gameplay over and over again is STALE - as is the 2dimensional controller dictating a 3d virtual world... nintendo may use a lot of the same franchises over and over again but theyre always mixing up gameplay (essentially what IS the game)
theyre focusing on gameplay through and through while everyone else is making MEDIA centers.... hes talking about raising/changing standards. - Fizban119, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0You want to see innovation look at the PC game Spore. Read the article: http://pc.ign.com/articles/617/617441p1.html
- mr.gates, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1You notice everyone that says games haven't sucked the last few years all mention supposedly awesome games, that are more or less just 40 hour movies, that de-socialize your life? Give me Super smash bros., DDR, Mario party, or Soul Caliber, these are fun games, that are easy to pick up, and don't de-socialize your life, with TONS of replay value.
Seriously, all you Halo X-box live, WOW freaks are really just losers. And don't get all pissy just because Nintendo might make a system that is fun to play with... oh no.. here comes the bad word... Other People. - dracula7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i love how you guys find more of discrepancy between generic first person shooters than these CRAZY DIFFERENT mario games ... and the pokemon ***** = bad example, look at all (most) final fantasies, etc---rpgs/simulations = totally different, theyre just offering expansions (read:the sims and *****)
- CptnObvious, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Nintendo has been the birthplace for a majority of innovative games. Super Mario, Tetris, Zelda (the first and OOT), Pikmin, Nintendogs, Electroplankton, and the revolution is no exception. The Nintendo kiddy image was set by kids which is pretty ironic not to mention completely untrue and it shouldn't matter. I play games to have fun, not to put me in some social class.
- zarlwilliam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ive loved nintendo since i was 4 yrs old(23 now) and will always look fwd to what theyre doing. Gamecube had some GREAT games but as a whole i think it was blah.... regardless.. i really think nintendo is gonna bring back the gaming i myself enjoy... forget the fancy gfx and cutscenes... give me great gameplay... something i can just pick up and play.. something FUN. seems 60% of gaming is this FPS garbage.. i mean if thats ur thing fine... but its not even gaming anymore.. its real life simulation... the gaming I enjoy get me AWAY from real life. I'm not 'dissin' fps or anything.. if thats ur thing.. thats ur thing... but we seem to have gotten away from what all brought us here in the first place... well if were over the age of 18 i guess. :)
dont screw this up nintendo - lazyguy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Lazyguy, you aren't understanding the aspect of innovation. Differenciality. Zelda 64 is no where like the other Zelda games. It introduced a new way to control characters and use them.
Thats why I limited myself to the ones for the gameboy platform. Its true, isnt it?
Mario Kart 64 introduced brand new functionality of how racing games can contain non-realistic styles of gameplay, but be much more fun than those that are realistic.
But you can argue they did that with mario kart 1, didnt they? A followup with the same gameplay isnt very innovative (honestly, a good game deserves sequels in my book, im just making a point here)
Mario Games are COMPLETELY innovative.
(Yes, but then you would have to call that excuse for a fps, pdz, innovative too. omg! ITS CARTOONY! OMG you can roll! But its NOT innovative, its not new. They always add some kind of new gimicky things on sequels, same goes for these yearly maddens too) [i dont buy maddens or any game with the year behind it]
They introduce new styles of play. Metroid Prime is nothing like Super Metroid. Like the other guy said, it changed standard FPS into FPA, First Person Adventure with so much to do.
Uh, super metroid wasnt first person, which is what FP stands for. I have the game, its in 3rd person. Of course, the metroid series turned 3d and inherited that trait as a result.
This article was not meant to say that FPS games and other games have no innovation. FarCry Instincts for instance has a hell load of innovation, such as boosted up player, predator-like abilities, and free-form action. It is meant to talk about the general direction of video games.
Yes, but you cant say that nintendo is the savior and how they are making it so much better. Remember, they are responsible for the game with the LEAST INNOVATION EVER. Pokemon.
Nintendo releases new designs of such things like the gba because of USER responses. AKA YOUR responses. People complain like mad about one thing. They add it, upgrade more stuff, combine, and release. It is not a bad aspect, atleast it shows they are listening.
And they should take those responses into the next system. Not the current one. Yes, they listen, but they just so happen to start back at square one on the next handheld... lets be realistic, its a way for them to sell the same hardware to us twice. And it works.
All I see lately are recreations, such as World War games, and hyped up games that just suck completely.
I get headaches playing COD. Seriously. Though there are a fair share of nintendo 1st party games that sucked too.
I already played them. Mario kart and mario kart 64 are both in a 3d enviroment. Dont let the "new engine" thing act as an excuse. Mario brothers were all the premise of left to right, jump on things, but they added a new powerup. Same goes for FPS games. Innovation? - dracula7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0CRAZY DIFFERENT as in the spin offs, the sports and minigames. youre referencing sequels... obviously the fundamental gameplay would stay the same. theyre a series. theyre followups. they arent trying to be different games or innovative --
but they offer something MORE. your logic of : mario kart X = mario kart Y = not innovative = nintendo blows isnt FOOLING anyone,
but look at the d-pad on your controller (nintendo is responsible) -- thats innovation, thats something new.
with the nintendo ds at least theyre trying with some games, offering a new kind of medium with the touch screen. the point is theyre trying,
while everyone is complacceeenttttt and sony/MS arent even TRYING to break ANY mold
---nintendo = intent on making enjoyable gaming experiences,
the ps3 and xbox360 are just ***** computers that will standardize the dev's platform to some degree , but theyre not fooling ME - mangablade, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Spore is ***** innovative, coming out this year i hope, looks to be WAY unique. and altho not the best graphix ever (something along the lines of a less cartoony WoW), the fact that the game is like nothing else makes me want it.
