Xbox 360 slams Playstation 3 again?
hdgamenews.com — In the March 2007 issue of Game Informer Magazine "NBA Street Homecourt" was recently reviewed. As expected the game had scored a solid 8.75. However, something unexpected was that the game looked the best on the Xbox 360 as opposed to the Playstation 3.

- SquirrelOnFire, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9I think its more like kicking at a smear that maybe used to be a dead horse.
- chocobomog, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2More like making a mountain out of a mole hill.
So a second generation 360 game has slightly better graphics than a first generation PS3 game running on experimental hardware. Yippee. The next gen war is over, this determines everything.
Let's not mention the fact the the game looks great on both systems and this is an opinion from a reviewer at one magazine.
- flamingmb, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4experimental hardware? If something is on sale to the public its not considered experimental. Stop trying to take the blame away from the ps3.
- chocobomog, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Take the blame away from the PS3? Are you serious? Regardless of my choice of words regarding hardware, if you think this means anything in the long run in the next gen "war" then you are seriously deluding yourself. Why does it matter that a random reviewer said that the 360 version looks slightly better? What does it prove? Does this mean the 360 can declare victory? While people are trivially arguing about which version of a game looks better on two consoles, another console with last-gen graphics is outselling all of them.
Ignoring semantics, my point was people are making something out of nothing. - flamingmb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Well when a certain company tells you that their product will be the end all of gaming and that it will blow everything else away and that nothing can come close to its power, then something like this happens, that dosent bode well for their product.
- bangbangblah, on 10/12/2007, -6/+4need I mention that thanks to gamerankings.com we can see that the game itself actually gained a 2% better average ranking on the PS3 than on the 360? Yeah, totally slammed.
- topbravo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1you are getting dug down because the 360 folks here are getting nervous that the ps3 is going to start coming around...
Keep spreading your FUD while you can fanboys. - Domza, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@bangbangblah

- Dareaver81, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Some of you people don't get it. People are saying these things because of the hype machine that is sony. Make claims and don't deliver. Sony dropped the ball, please fanboys admit it. I know that yall know now that the 360 has a better graphics card and has better use of ram. The ps3 is sony's stake in blue ray media, and a promotion for the cell processor. That is what it really is. They delayed the ps3 because of the blue ray diode. Not that they were inhancing the system. Some of you people are just blind and ignorant, which means that your dumb. Fanboyism aside those are the facts. The ps3's processor is just slightly more powerful but follows old architectural design. The 360's is on the cutting edge and it's graphics card might be able to do directx10, oh and it's not running at full power because of the design shape of the 360, so what do you have to say about that.
