- gusto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0From the press release:
"The special will feature never-before-seen, action-packed gameplay of future Xbox games, a peek into the future of the Xbox Live online gaming service ... and exclusive insider footage on the making of the next-generation console." - smiles23, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0LOL...they'll prob show some sketches / concepts
- limpfalife, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0They are just going to waste 30 minutes on just talking about the next xbox and new games. Remember that MTV special where they said that new footage of halo 2 was going to be shown? Well they didn't show no new footage. So dont keep your hopes up that the xbox 2 will be revealed. Expect announcements on some new games for the xbox 2 and videos on developers talking about the xbox 2 thats it.
- butrtoes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Its brilliant. Who is the gaming industries target market these days? Teenagers... the lemmings that watch TRL will love this show.
- GamerSDG, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i cant wait to see what channle the ps3 will be unrelived on
- jimmyt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What does that tell you about how crappy everyone thinks G4 is??!! LOL - you think the new console would debut on the VG channel.. lol
- tupac, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0MTV? Hahaha.
- reaver, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0They wouldn't unveil it on G4 because it probably only reaches 10 million people now. Most DIGITAL cable companies charge extra for it now on top of the extra money for digital cable.
- tetfsu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0limpfalife, dude come on... What 30 minutes of MTV programming ISN'T a waste of air time, but that's a whole different story. You're probably going to be right, M$ is probably going to go with the whole "No News is Good News" theory and just talk about the vapor ware they've dreamed up. Let's just hope that this one doesn't have a controller that's the size of a small mini-van to deal with.
Andy87, how true that comment is! The whole network has gone in the port-o-potty since the gobbled up and screwed over TechTV... and just as TechTV was really on the way up too. Oh, well I hope the Comcast Execs in their high and mighty towers like what they got, now.
"Attack of the Show"... PLEASE. Even the On-Air "talent" is making fun of their own show.
[Begin Insert_old_DierStraights_Music_here.] I want my TechTV [End Insert_old_DierStraights_Music_here.] but I digress... - andy78, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why would they go to g4 "slow motion train wreck" ? They actually want people to see this thing.
- mja1ajm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0jimmyt... you beat me to the punch. As soon as I read the article, that was exactly what I was thinking! I think it's funny that both companies are stressing on the info release date... seems like the important date should be the product release!
- smash, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Corporations that use MTV as a tool just seem so stupid to me. I mean come on this is so unoriginal.
