- zenghost, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2they should put this in the xbox 360 televised commercial...or in back of the box or something...lol...thatll reel in the customers alright.
- mykrowsy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2anyone notice if you click on the "xbox-scene" logo at the top of the xbox-scene page from this link, it takes you to ps3-scene.com?

- ChaosElement, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hey guys, let's make jokes about a microsoft product crashing. How original! *sarcasm*
- Drahknon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah, because the PS has been so stable over the years. Can you say DRE?
Meh. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@raindog, the reason no one has been able to capture and post BSOD's of GameCube and PS2 is simply because they dont have a BSOD, they simply freeze/lock-up, and therefore you are unable to tell what the problem is, which is VERY stupid.
I can't wait to see what happens when the PS3 gets errors, it will probably just become a 'brick', like the PSP... LOL! - Opteron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"I don't get it, what's the point of this digg? There won't even BE a black or blue screen of death on the 360. Only reason they have it there is because it's a kiosk."
Not entirely true. The first Xbox had the exact same type of thing, so it only makes sense that the 360 would as well. Really has nothing to do with the fact its a Kiosk. - smackfu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I've seen the Gamecube's error screen, on a bad used disk. It was worthless, just saying there was a system error and to check the manual, which just said call Nintendo.

http://www.info.apple.com/images/kbase/106227/106227_3.jpg - rstarr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0All u need to do is get a ridiculous warranty on the 360, if the 1st version tanks, which is not uncommon for a system, then return it to where ever and get a new one of the new version. Walmarts systems are the easiet to abuse, I've returned a ton of stuff i bought a while ago from another store, used, broke and still gotten my money back there. My freind also returned his origional xbox to walmart (which he bought at eb) because it had the thompson drive. By the way....this post is lame. Every piece of tech freezes...It happens. I'm sure your pc/ps2/gamecube freezes just as often (more so for the pc guys). I went through 4 psone's myself. Well i DID play my far share of FF's, and other rpg's......but w/e....not the point.
- ech0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0lol, that'll attract customers
- saggygrandma, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1HAHAHAH, get used to that screen xbox fanboys!
- SpookyMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Am I suppose to be suprised?...because I'm not
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I have contacted xbox support claiming that my xbox 360 had that error, i'm now awaiting a response :)
- dolby, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Playstation 2 doesn't crash.
- icheat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Black screen of death?
- AJBcoolman8, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i went to EB games and the Xbox360 there had the BSOD
- nugget, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1another reason to get a rev. :) hehehe
- arzdb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm sure this is the only one we'll ever see...
- rubio22, on 10/02/2008, -0/+0Microsoft does not look out for the interest of the customer. They are an outsourcing global source hog, which buys out its competitors in order to giant a greater monopoly on the market. Why give Microsoft more money when you can keep it in your pocket. Save that money, for the pricey games, costly live service, and that cable modem bill. I am finally making money from Microsoft and comfortably studying at law school. With an Xbox 360 Repair Guide you fix any Xbox 360 yourself forever for FREE. Screw Microsoft and fix your Xbox 360 yourself, and if you want to Screw them more, buy their broken products and fix them yourself in less than an hour.
http://redringxbox360.com - reaver, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I don't get it, what's the point of this digg? There won't even BE a black or blue screen of death on the 360. Only reason they have it there is because it's a kiosk.
- sufferingant, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1nice :)
- Opteron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Thats because, if you read the banner, it says that it'll take you to their network site ps3scene.com.
- JangoFett, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I played a 360 running on a HDTV at a Wal-Mart kiosk on Saturday. They had demos for Kameo, Call of Duty 2, and King Kong. The graphics aren't anything special yet and I wonder how they look on a non-HDTV set.
I'll wait until they come out with some games that actually push the system to it's full potential. - CptnObvious, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0lol i love how below it it says "only on xbox 360"
- reaver, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Not entirely true. The first Xbox had the exact same type of thing, so it only makes sense that the 360 would as well. Really has nothing to do with the fact its a Kiosk."
I've never seen this screen on my Xbox. I don't think anyone would unless you open it up or mess with it. - raindog469, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Ha ha!
I think the reason it's funny is that no one's ever been able to capture and post the "Gamecube BSOD" or the "PS2 BSOD", but the first Xbox was caught crashing before its release and now the 360 has been caught doing the same.
And this is one of those jokes that only gets funnier after you explain it.
digg++; - kev01, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"I'm sure this is the only one we'll ever see..."
And .... that's why they even have a numbering sytem for error's eh? "Error 74" as in the pic. meaning... there's gotta be at least 73 other errors that can occur haha - twaites, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Microsoft can't get away from those error screens.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i wonder if ps3 is getting this to... Or nintendo revoultion ...
wired :-Z - Treniac, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I work at Best Buy I know we're not the first store to get one but we got ours today. Looks sweet.
- peace, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0
Did anyone notice it says "Only on Xbox 360" just beneath the screen? That's hilarious.
http://pictures.xbox-scene.com/xbox360/bsod/xbox360_bsod_01.jpg - nannerla, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Its not that big of a deal really it probably is overheated because they ar on24/7 in walmart and those 3 cores and gpu probably make a lot of heat.
- teknotant, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I just got back from wal-mart, and they finally got a 360.
- TubaFrog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Should've paid for the Platinum version...
- Hollister, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Kinda like all the recalled ipods right? put something in a glass case 24/7 and see how well it works.. I played one at a less popular Wal-Mart last night and it was a gamers dream come true!
- mancat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It looks a lot better than when a PS2 freezes and does nothing, sometimes looping the last played sound like a broken record.
- Chewie67, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I would expect nothing less from a Microsoft product...
- DeadlyCouncil, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0it's really nothing special, it's just a series of errors that fall mostly on the people at wall mart not setting up the kiosks correctly, my question is why did M$ allow the 360 to be displayed at such a deplorable hic-filled installation in the firt place, why not best buy?
- knellotron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0geez, Microsoft.
What a total ripoff of OS X's multilingual dark gray screen of death. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Just one more reason for me not to but XBOX 1.5. Can't wait for PS3 though :)
- Boingo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Out of all the electronic items I own, only two pieces give me trouble. My 4th gen iPod and my XBOX. I guess I've been pretty lucky if some people think crashes and lockups are normal and acceptable.
- diggnationdevon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ROFL WAFFLE!!!
- Jon2x4, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Always black huh? When ever you play a game it always end up black at some time or another. It isn't the black screen or errors...it's the black screen of DEATH! Don't look straight into it!!
-lol - fletch259, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0LMAO
- teknotant, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0oh ya we can still call it a BSOD
- antiwmac, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0HAHAHAHA!!!
EveryMicrosoft product announced, they crash in forums or public demostrations.
(Win95,98,XP,MediaEdition,Xbox, and now Xbox360) - Mark_H, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Gamecubes and playstations crash. Cell phones, PDA's, MP3 players, macs, PC's, nothing is crash-free.
But wait...this is a Microsoft product? In that case, MICROSOFT IS TEH SUXXORZ! - underburn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I wish it woulda been blue :(
