- StarManta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7"Good As G4"?
Is that something we really want to aspire towards?
If so, make sure to forget everything you actually -know- about videogames, and that you can afford all the rappers possible to talk about videogames they don't play. - jakerosow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This is the greatest podcast alive and has super sexy hosts (sorry skyjedi for stealing your line)
- Branjor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I think a lot of you guys are nit-picking. The fact of the matter is this podcast is far better than any other gaming podcasts that I have ever heard. Keep up the good work.
- Dragon7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Anyone who takes the time to write and perform a Final Fantasy rap that sounds completely awesome is okay in my book.
Anyway here the Rap The Chocobo ^_^

- dockmur24, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2lol these guys used the maniac mansion theme as a backdrop for their kicka** theme song!

I've subscribed to the podcast though, the older gent's pretty funny and made some decent points. Good luck
- slogankid1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This podcast was great over 10,000 listeners but now it has finished. thank you all the haterswho didnt even check this out! Topaz, hope you can carry on with podcasts when you have some more time
- worthintow3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I've subscribed (off and on) to at least 40 different game podcasts, and i've never seen video reviews of this caliber. Nice job guys
- Topaz420, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Hi all!
Thanks to the 113 people who gave us love, and to the rest, "drink your hater-ade!"
Really quick:
1) 'Creator submitting link' -- Hrm, like Kevin Rose does 3 times a day with DiggNation stories?
2) G4 quality -- For all the poop that covers the rest of their lineup, X-Play's reviews (not their skits) are the last shining star in the whole G4 line-up.
3) Chocobos -- But the theme song is on my FF1 OST.... honest!
4) 13? -- Actually, Cycon is 12, and I'm deep into my 20s, but he's a cool guy and I'm proud to call him my friend.
5) Daily? -- Hey, we're getting there! 11 casts and 4 video reviews in our first 30 days of existence, give a brother a break :)
Thanks again for the kind supporters, it's for you that I stay up all night writing Chocobo songs.
-=TopaZ=- - greatbeyond, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2I'm still trying to figure out how a podcast that updates every few days could possibly be considered 'daily.'
- 5blocksfree, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1
They should master websites before moving to podcasts. I will not expend time or energy trying to decipher dark gray navigation links set against a black background. - Gatorade, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Okay this podcast is terrible. Are you guys both 13? Plus you get half your facts wrong.
- chileman, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Couple things
1) Kevin Rose created Digg so I think he's allowed to plug his stuff. He's given countless hours of work and asked so little in return.
2) If you are going to submit your own link at least tell the truth, don't say it's daily if it isn't (mainstream media tells lies like that, that's why people like podcasts).
3) "A carefully edited show that stands head-and-shoulders above the "talk & upload"-crowd."
In podcasting it's not how fancy the show is, it's the content that is provided. Shoot, Adam Curry just talks and records, I don't hear too much complaining about it.
This is constructive criticism, I'm a fellow podcasters, just trying to help. I'm not a hater. - Gatorade, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I'll keep listening topaz just incase it becomes more infomative.
- Dabisu, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1They said they were listening to the Chocobo song in the first game, yet there were no Chocobos in the first Final Fantasy. The Chocobo along with the recurring characters, Cid, Biggs, and Wedge, were in all of the Final Fantasy except for the first one.
- theplug, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I just rated StarManta's comment a three because I was going to say the exact same thing. The link was clearly submitted by the creator of the podcast and the description glows with arrogance and ridiculousness.
- Mart, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I've subscribed to this before, but I just can't bring myself to listen to it, sorry guys, but Topaz's voice just cuts right through me.
- G-RaZoR, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Self Promotion! DIE!
- jedi55555, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Please notice that the two people that gave it glowing reviews have only Dugg this story and have only commented on this story.
- DWatch, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0LOL
"Good-As-G4"
If your aspiring to be as good as G4... well, I have nothing but pity for you. I won't be checking this out.... even if they were as good as G4, that ain't sayin' much! - SkeletaLlama, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Somehow I don't think playa hatin' and video game geeks have anything to do with one another. (or is 1anotha'?)
- nthitz, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Ummm. I highly doubt this is the worlds first video game podcast. Claims like that are impossible to measure. You may have been the first one that you had heard about but lets say there was one out there that wasn't quite as popular as you but still came out first. Hmmmm.... Lies.
- mfarley, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Will give it a go but so far I agree with Mart--the voices are a bit hard to listen too.
