True, the stereotype of a typical WoW player is an older, balding, overweight man with Cheeto stained fingers and a tower of Mountain Dew cans carefully balanced on his computer desk next to his Lord Of The Rings Special Edition DVDs, but stereotypes are only true for a small part of the whole.

        No, seriously. Digg used to be a place where you could often find intelligent comments on intelligent stories. Now, granted this is a "story" about an ad for 20+ virgins, but there exactly is part of the problem. I find this humorous, but this isn't the kind of stuff that will draw me back to Digg regularly. And the content that does draw me back - it's getting weaker.

        I was just discussing this with a friend of mine. We're both computer science/engineering types and were drawn to Digg during its Tech only days. Don't get me wrong though: I liked when Digg added more content from a broader range of topics. But the problem was that Digg no longer had a focus. And while not having a focus drew in more people, it reduced the overall "IQ" of the site.

        So now we have comments here that were once reserved for /b/ and the like. I've been a /b/tard for awhile, but Digg, like /b/, is declining.

      When we were in high school he'd always whine to me about being a virgin and I told him to just not worry about it and it will eventually happen. He took my advice and stopped stressing over it. And it did happen eventually, and now he's a happy nerd.
