- Sithseth, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I've actually done this with my Atari 2600, and Xbox. All you need is a TV adapter for the GBA, put it into the DS (through the GBA slot), and BOOF, you got a TV that can play video game consoles. There's no true modding, or tinkering involved (unless you have to morph the TV adapter to fit into the DS's GBA slot which I had to do).
If you want to do this, you can buy the TV adapter at a local Gamestop, or EB games. - hiixhii, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That clears that up.

Wii software is NOT running on the DS. They're simply using the DS as a monitor. Isn't that all this is, or is there actual Wii code being executed within the DS?

Sorry, but I fail to see whats so great about this since its just displaying video on a DS screen, can't you display any vidoe signal then? The PS3? a DVD player? Cable? - dewdrinker19, on 10/12/2007, -10/+4I call fake, why? Because I went shopping for GBA and DS flash cards. So here is why I think it is fake...
1) The flash card was made for GBA SP.
2) It is a media flash card designed to play videos.
3) The plug is for normal headphones while watching videos (since SP used that proprietary one, this let you use your own).
4) They plugged the Wii video out into that plug via an adapter just to "make it legit", but it is a headphone out. Nothing went to the DS.
If you want to play the Wii on GBA SP or Nintendo DS it is REALLY simple to do, just get one of these...
