But, this news is also posted at 1UP.com (http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3151576) and if you go to the Japanese Trademark site (http://www.ipdl.ncipi.go.jp/homepg_e.ipdl), and search the Trademark database for "wiipointer" (for example), you'll see it was filed on 04/26/2006.

I'm just as excited as anyone else about Wii but it's crap like this that causes issues. I'm tired of hearing people that are interested in Wii say "I heard it has virtual reality built in!".
