- DesertSquirrel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Interesting, but no way in hell is Nintendo ever going to liscense their tech. out to the porn industry.
- spicychicken, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3The big chain retailers seemly won't stock the adult-rated games. I mean, DVD players are capable of showing your toddler Disney movies, or showing some nasty porno. So, Wal-Mart doesn't sell the latter, and yet nobody is complaining.
And, I disagree with you that kids are the primary target audience. Adults will be the new target audience, if anything. Nintendo won't be going broke in any case. - kokobaroko, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3well, if the development kit costs $2K I can see some BangBros content hitting the shells :)
- Bara, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Yes, then end up having their console banned from Walmart and Best Buy, because its targetted towards kids first and foremost yet here it is selling adult entertainment. I dont think even Nintendo would be that stupid... Maybe Sony...
Bara out - spicychicken, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I disagree. The head honchos in Japan are probably quite the horndogs. See, everyone feels they are absolutely certain Nintendo wouldn't do that, which is exactly why Nintendo would have the element of surprise on their side. It'd be the most controversial move in entertainment since... ever. That means people will go out and buy Wii. Same effect GTA 3 had for PS2, but exponentially larger.
- Suspected, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I agree. They'll lose too much of the mainstream if they go for the adult industry. This article is ridicules and has no substance. Isn't Digg supposed to be about news and not wild speculation?
Marked inaccurate! - breathofwater, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I agree with spicychicken. Recall back a few months ago Nintendo announced they would have new intuitive and powerful parental control options. Parents will most likely be prompted to ban all such games on their child's console. Besides I don't see how this type of adult content should be considered anything worse then the current mature rated games full of violence we all enjoy with the youth of today.
- nao65536, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0But, wiimote patents would be licensed to other companies eventually?
I guess licensed wiimote clone for PC will appear in two or three years.
In this sense, "Wiimote Will Revolutionize Adult Entertainment" is more correct. - spicychicken, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Not yet, anyway. Remember how shocked everyone was about the new name? Imagine the shock when they drop this bomb. I'm going to laugh so hard when this guy is right.
- PhatBoiSlim, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Nintendo =/= Adult Entertainment

What is Digg?
