I'd hate to know how you know this. - exsst, on 10/12/2007, -20/+65Who the ***** is filming?
He can't keep a camera still for ***** and he sounds like he's masturbating with all that fast paced breathing..
Nothing more disturbing than a microphone recording of a masturbating little weirdo boy. - lechatron, on 10/12/2007, -2/+19Next time, use a tripod because it sounds like your video camera weights a few thousand pounds. That or you just got done with a super intense jerk session.
- Combat247, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13eh, i thought the wii had an opera browser built in?!?
- Rabid_Llama, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10This could be important. Bear with me.
So, if the Wii store is just a specialized webpage, it's probably possible with some packet sniffing of the traffic going between the Wii and the store to make a PC-based browser that can pretend it's a Wii. You can then go to the store, log in, download the game binaries to your PC, and tear them apart. Only a matter of time until there's an exact copy of the Wii store, only free, since unless they jump through some serious encryption hoops or something, there's nothing stopping it from being reverse engineered.
I don't really support piracy, but it would be a very interesting hack project. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Jesus, what is that.. a 13" CRT?
- XxUNDEROATHxX, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11here's the direct link to the tutorial...

- codyph55, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6yea this is cool maybe if we could see the ***** screen, stop moving the damn handy came around and stop blowing your nose into the ***** mic.... then maybe just maybe we would be able to watch this
- AkatsukiNoTobi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4So does that mean that I can go look up porn on the internet through my tv?! Thats it, I am getting a Wii.
- Yokai, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7You sick freaks, if that is the first thing you think of when you hear those noises like that then I just don't want to know about you're personal life. You know it could be because h had the camera right next to his head...
- neoform, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8exsst:
After watching this I was thinking the exact same thing. - sapo916, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Tell your mom to get you a new TV.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4You can't use it yet, even though it's free until June '07.
- skankyBacon, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4"I didn't slip up you ass *****, ***** face."
Wow, good thing you're not an immature little boy anymore. - zokra, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3What is the point? Opera is coming with a browser for wii soon...
- ICSU, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Yes he also managed to plug the wii into a 40-year-old TV. double hack
- Fhwqhgads, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Dugg!
- KaloFoxfire, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I'm pretty sure that's just the result of videotaping a TV. The frame rates are off sync (or something to that effect).
- kidd3ckz, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4What game do you think you'll be able to masturbate first in on Nintendo? Or is that against their morals... Wiiking Off would be awesome, pray for homedev game :D
- MackPrime, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2a CURVY tv? What is this; 1997 ?
- themoose, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Line Rider, here I come!
- Alegis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Correct, except its later than january before it will cost you.
- Rabid_Llama, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Hah, jonnyeh, I missed that story. Well, that's part 1 of my devious plan already taken care of.
And GoClick, it's true that the average person is probably not gonna bother, but if one person takes the effort to make it easier and sets up his own "Wii Store" then... well, setting up some kind of DNS server entry isn't THAT hard. Certainly worth saving $5 per NES game - leer317, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Based on how long it took that site to load, I guess it gives some idea as to why all the "load times" on the Wii take so long.
- mbthompson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@jdwyz
bro, it's called a refresh rate and is present on any CRT type monitor, do your homework and play less videogames, or get that Vtech thinig and do both - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2digg down.
- theandrey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1 I'm currently working on this. I post my findings here:
http://scoresurvey.com/wii/index.html - GoClick, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It'd be fairly easy to stop that by making it hard. It'd be easier to just pull the hard drive out of the Wii and grab the games that way.
Also if Nintendo is smart it's running over HTTPS and yer not going to be sniffing any packets. All the Wii would have to do is send a secret post variable, say perhaps something generated using the serial number and encrypted with Nintendo's public key and you'd be set because it'd be very hard to get that special variable unless you knew how it was generated and managed to intercept their public key... however that said I doubt Nintendo took overly strong steps to stop piracy.
You don't need to make it impossible to rip off a game you just need to make it harder to do than people are willing to - AllenHSmilden, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I agree with the others, I don't know why but it was annoying to watch. I kept wanting him to show us something more useful.
- techforce, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4The breathing just freaks me out...
And set the stupid camera down on a table or something. - mbthompson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Aside from the obscene breathing (probably due to the strain of having to get up and turn the TV on) did anyone catch what he was saying under his breath?
- hibachipenguins, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Thought I'd post in here that is not me or my TV just a video I found, so no bashing on the geeks TV, he made a good discovery.
- mbthompson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1most annoying thing i've seen and heard in a long time
sweet georgia brown that was awful! - crilen007, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hahahaha
- marcan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1If Nintendo devs know anything about security, they'll be checking the SSL certificates against a known list of CAs, or better yet, only allow a Nintendo certificate through. You won't be making an SSL man-in-the-middle attack on the Wii any time soon, unless you hack into Nintendo's servers and steal their PEM key.
- exsst, on 10/12/2007, -5/+5THANK YOU! lol, I knew my original thoughts weren't perverted on this matter!
- jakefloyd, on 10/12/2007, -8/+8What's the point of doing all that if you aren't going to go on Digg?
- KaloFoxfire, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0My thoughts exactly. Heck, just prop the camera up on a stable surface if you don't have a tripod.
- triblinator, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0or... it took so long to load because the wii has no proper web browser and has trouble handling all of the load. and if you would like to see a system with long load times, a psp should fill that void nicely (plus you can carry your loads with you for the same price!)
- jdwyz, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1What the?????..He needs a new tv .not some 1950's model with a black bar drifting up from bottom to top.how the hell does he play the game with that going on.Shoulda spent your money on a new tv instead of a wii....
- CamZak, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1HTTPS is secure? Riiggghtt...
DNS redirection + Man in the middle type HTTPS proxy with logging. Heck, I coud probably write something to do it myself in C using the OpenSSL library. However...I don't have a Wii...so why bother. - vhold, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1The TV probably looks fine. What you're seeing is the refresh rate of the TV offset from the capture rate of the camera.
Aim most any camcorder at a CRT and you'll probably see similar effects. - Rikkochet, on 10/12/2007, -5/+3Nope, it'll be available as a free download later in the year, and it'll cost you Wii points to download it after January.
- MrSidnet, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1A) Didnt even notice the breathing until I turned up the volume
B) try holding a camera steady while your other arm is moving about trying to navigate a Wii. I dare you. - masterspy7, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2With this much modding with the WiiConnect24 service we will probably have an unofficial browser before the official opera one is released!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0So its that easy?
- GoClick, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1This is teh lame
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3That's Wiitastic!
- exsst, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3techforce - This is what I said at the very start.
It's like a cross between the blair witch project and nerd porn for h4x0ring. -
