1) Jump right in and play the game.
2) Place the manual in the bathroom
3) Read the manual and find new tricks you didn't know about it
4) IMPORTANT: Wipe first and reapply pants before rushing to try out new trick.

I think i was most taken with the under-hand in Baseball - PFS1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9The option to golf without meters or maps is absolutely ace. I was even playing the other day and thinking that if a golf game came out for the wii it would have to include that feature.
The standard golf game is a lot of fun, but it really is a run-of-the-mill golf game with a very intuitive way to dictate how much power a shot should get. That alone makes it addictive, but taking away the meters and such puts the immersion up 500%.
Without being able to simply read things like wind and distance to the pin, you'll find yourself listening for the wind, looking into the horizon for where to place your shot, and swinging like you would in real game.
