- cyssero, on 04/18/2009, -0/+13I think it's a very smart move by Sega. Keep the Sega name alive, and reward all the Sega gamers with something to play with even after all these years. Too often classic characters fade away into the past, but Sonic is still kicking it. Even if it means he moved to a competitors platform, I'm sure many fans will just be happy that Sonic still exists even on our next-gen consoles. I can see this happening too - which is the best bit. Will seal the deal for many would-be-Wii gamer's out there.

Any time they claim otherwise they are lying to you. If you find yourself in this kind of situation the best thing to do would be to walk out of the store and never return. Do you really want to buy anything from someone who has no problem lying to your face?

- albinoMithos, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Hey I'm a big fan of sonic the hedgehog(or at least the old school ones and the first two DC games), but really this rumor has been around since Super Smash Bros. Melee. I know a lot of people want Sonic in the game but I just don't see him as a fighter. I mean the argument can be made that Mario wasn't a fighter to begin with either and that's true but at some point when he went into 3D he got punches and kicks as part of his move set. Sonic on the other hand, even in 3D, continues to have the same old jump, run, and charge ball moves of yesteryear. I'm not saying that the sonic universe would be a bad place to get characters, but if you're gonna go there get somebody like Knuckles who is a known fighter. Leave sonic to what he does best, destroying evil at super sonic speeds.

And he did kick a lot of ass in that game, I think he'd do fine in this game, seeing as how snake is in here, and seeing as how snake is more of a silent killer with guns rather then a brawler, they could make it work somehow.

It's only a matter of how much effort a team is willing to put into a project, and I don't think Nintendo is looking to slack off this time around. Also, with comments made by Mr. Iwata in the past, about being able to wake up in the morning and a new treat being ready for you and your game, I think they'd be stupid to abandon an idea such as adding a new character to the roster now and then.

And again, to those who think sonic can't fight, PLEASE get the rom, or find a way to get this game.

Sonic+Tails=Tailiku
They also need to put in a character transformation option
Examples:
Sonic+Super Emeralds= Super Sonic 3 (same thing for Shadow)
Amy+Chaos Emeralds= Super Amy
Knuckles+Master Emerald= Ultra Knuckles -
