i went and tested it on my wii...
the thing though.
it still curves as much as you spin it...
the way it is preformed, makes it seem like the programmers were using logic that "spin towards pins, not away" as that is the common idea of bowling. thus they probably based the whole spin property by amount of spin rather than direction of spin.
i would attribute it to lazy programming not an attempt to make bowing easier, because quite honestly, it isn't a lazer guided missile, it just only spins toward the pins.
i couldn't say if it is something that could be patched, but even if it was, it would only allow you to spin gutter balls away from the pins, thats it, the game play otherwise would be the same. - f3l1x, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Not that you give a ***** but im right whether you digg me down or not. live with it.
- f3l1x, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1not true... i can spin out from the pins and make the ball go where i want. Try bowling left handed on a right handed mii.
- f3l1x, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Poster is just dumb. Ball spins just fine depending on how you break your elbow and or wrist. You can even double-hand-between-the-legs-grandma bowl for a straight shot if your wrist keeps breaking. Male elbows usual break out while females break in. Also how far down the lane you "throw" the ball before it hits the floor matters.. and foward speed relative to the spin. Its pretty deep if you know what the ***** your doing.
