- Nikole, on 02/24/2008, -7/+312ok this is great and all, but why did they need to use that picture?
- patricktu, on 02/24/2008, -7/+113Picture and title aren't even relevant to the article.
- benitojuarez, on 02/24/2008, -4/+80Vote for Obama / Hasselhoff '08!
- gwolf, on 02/24/2008, -4/+64Obama is about 46 years old and is part of a generation who doesn't attribute games with magical mind control powers the way some older Americans do. As busy as he is, I would bet he's played one or two in his life time.
- aliengoods, on 02/24/2008, -8/+65Are you kidding. Look at that musculature. I'd ***** him.
- oMeSSiaHo, on 02/24/2008, -3/+47I'm sooooo printing that picture out and hanging it on my wall.
- DemiRonin, on 02/24/2008, -2/+40Exactly what I was gonna say. Title should be "Obama Not against Video games + half Naked"
- loganhid, on 02/24/2008, -1/+36right someone could have told me obama was having a beach party
- merper, on 02/24/2008, -0/+29It's never about the perfect option in politics, it's about the best. Obama's 'you could probably do more than sit around and play Halo all day" is a lot better than Ban-GTA-to-back-room-in-the-adult-toy-store Clinton and get-off-my-intertubes-you-durned-kids McCain.
- doshindude, on 02/24/2008, -1/+29he's probably a mean Rock Band drummer.
- stolemybike, on 02/24/2008, -1/+28*Shivers at thought of HIllary...*
- Totalchaos02, on 02/24/2008, -3/+29Someone over at Filefront clearly has a crush on Obama if they took the time to find that picture.
- oMeSSiaHo, on 02/24/2008, -1/+27I bet he's better at bass!
- Chordinator, on 02/24/2008, -3/+24Obama's kind of a whitey there under his shirt.
Though of all the presidential candidates to see half naked, he's probably the least vomit-inducing choice. - TheTaoOfBill, on 02/24/2008, -2/+22You want someone who REALLY hates video games? Check out Hillary Clinton's record. She's done more for the censorship of video games than most other politicians.
Hillary is only for freedoms she agrees with. - oMeSSiaHo, on 02/24/2008, -2/+21Because its awesome!
- thetin, on 02/24/2008, -0/+19...and you know you can't take ANY gay people seriously.
- alamir, on 02/24/2008, -2/+20I agree with Obama's statement. You can't study if you have the TV on and you're playing videogames. Any person who plays games would agree.
- Sagags, on 02/24/2008, -1/+18If you really read the quote you would have realized that he was not saying that video games were bad, but that parents need to start parenting and get involved with your kids, even if that means turning off video games.
- Ganja420, on 02/24/2008, -12/+27what the ***** up with that picture.. rofl
- Jimmeeee, on 02/24/2008, -1/+11I wouldn't care if Obama did think gamers were underachievers. It's better to have him in charge and think we're underachievers than have Hillary in charge and think we're future murderers.
- inactive, on 02/24/2008, -5/+15The submitter is an Obama fan and a video game player and wants to have his cake and eat it. Obama has said on at least three occasions that people need to stop playing video games and go outside. That doesn't mean he's "against" games, just that they shouldn't be a replacement for family bonding. Republicans have never to my knowledge accused him of being anti-video game. Obvious attempt to get diggs with exagerated description and title.
- capiCrimm, on 02/24/2008, -0/+10to prove that under his shirt he's really just a skinny one-leg flamingoed white guy like us?
- USAOwnz, on 02/24/2008, -5/+14Pirate Party endorsed him, 'nuff said. Long live the Pirate Bay/Party!
- leprix, on 02/24/2008, -2/+10rasterbate that *****.
- Totalchaos02, on 02/24/2008, -0/+8That is disturbing...
- noodhoog, on 02/24/2008, -1/+9You obviously haven't been paying much attention to some of the waves that the Pirate Party has been making.. but oh, I'm sorry. I forget you're too busy watching your 'grown up' Republicans and Democrats flinging poo at each other like so many monkeys, and trying to have whiter teeth and more 'presidential' hairstyles than their opponents...
- Dundasbro, on 02/24/2008, -2/+10Mccain
- NeuralClone, on 02/24/2008, -2/+9Gee thanks. Now I need to go watch 10 hours of porn to get that image out of my head, and I hate porn.
- sipofsoma, on 02/24/2008, -1/+7heh, gay people are teh stoopid!!1!1
- ruyn, on 02/24/2008, -1/+7Look Obama is a realist. How can you expect to succeed in life if you are 25 sitting in your moms basement playing gears of war and smoking pot. Get out and do something is all the man is saying.
- ZenMojo, on 02/24/2008, -3/+9Either people are incredibly stupid or they're incredibly desperate to attack him.
- linuxrocks2007, on 02/24/2008, -2/+8:'-(
- leffunov, on 02/24/2008, -1/+7There is no ***** reason you should be bashing Republicans and there's no reason Republicans would bash Obama. What would they get from that? You really think most Republicans would rather have Hilary than Obama? Dream on. Stand up Black guy versus what appears to be an angry lesbian with a drinking problem. South Park episode on Hilary, nuff said
- linuxrocks2007, on 02/24/2008, -2/+7Are you kidding me? HE is AAA!
- noodhoog, on 02/24/2008, -0/+5FUK LURNIN 2 RITE MAN! I GOTZ ME A GUN N IF U DUNT LIEK HOW I RITE ILL SHUUT YOO!
- jtbandes, on 02/24/2008, -1/+6Irony.
- NeuralClone, on 02/24/2008, -2/+7And in other news, Obama apparently blows his nose like other human beings, thus proving that he actually isn't a Terminator:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEnI-1IdFLs
Sources at Fox News state that, "this is the end of his campaign" and that "this proves without a doubt that he's a supporter of terrorists worldwide. (Vote McCain!)" Apparently, suggesting that parents should, you know, parent, is also a serious problem because then people might actually have to take responsibility for their lives and actions, and that would result in -- you guessed it -- change! - Dotcommer, on 02/24/2008, -2/+6lol fail.
- gypsi, on 02/24/2008, -2/+6well, which is it?
- inactive, on 02/24/2008, -0/+4First learn to articulate what it is you want to express, then and only then come back and speak to us again.
- scarz99, on 02/24/2008, -5/+8 Dugg for the pic. lol
- offspring06, on 02/25/2008, -1/+4I just puked in my mouth. Hillary can keep her pantsuits on.
- BShack85, on 02/24/2008, -0/+3Wow... did everyone just think to much into the quote "Obama sees gamers as underachievers" b/c clearly from his stance on the way he views parenting and our school systems that he was talking about games as ruining the education of children. Not the gamers in general who are able to distinguish between work and play.
- TobiasParker, on 02/24/2008, -2/+5Spellcheck.
- LembasBread, on 02/24/2008, -0/+3Friend of mine sent me a link to the Kotaku-version of this whole "obama calls video gamers underachievers" junk. I read through it and was baffeled how they stretched it so far.
- rmitchell, on 02/24/2008, -1/+3it's actually listed in games man...
- tomahawk0122, on 02/24/2008, -1/+3No man who has come down so regularly against the american right to bear arms will get my vote. Looks like I'll have to vote for McCain as he seems to be the more pro firearms candidate.
- inactive, on 02/24/2008, -4/+6not sure?
God damn kid, Huckabee wants to change the freaking constitution so its more bible like. How the hell can people like you even think of voting for this douchebag, - inactive, on 02/24/2008, -0/+2Obviously it was because *GASP* it made the front page, go back to editing your own blog's front page and leave digg to everyone else.
