- CoachZed, on 10/12/2007, -2/+16Nice subtle spam. Basically just a list of Wii/PS3 retailers (which is on either Nintendo or Sony's sites, respectively) with referral links to the retailer's main page so the site owner makes some $$.
- krinthekuz, on 09/16/2008, -1/+11could not have said it better. marked as spam. (digg me down... i don't give a *****)
- trvr, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6http://www.wiitracker.com/ is a good site for finding stores that have the Wii in stock. Also, http://ps3finder.com/ for the PS3.
- TheCount, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Agreed. Marked as spam, you should all do the same.
- Submerge, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I found the Wii Seeker website to be more of an assistance in finding a Wii around my area (works off area codes and Google maps). This I4U sites is a bit more common sense, but Wii Seeker locates the stores around you and the quantity available. http://ps3seeker.com/wii/ Helps if you're looking at going to the local Target or Wal-mart and buying it from the store location.
- carotids, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Every one of his links is an affiliate link. If you visit his site and click on his links, you are giving him a ton of money.
Don't support this spam on digg! - vagarach, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Bangkok???? Why would that have any relevance in north America?
- jsdratm, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Isn't this common sense?
- sahaskatta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I4U pretty much copied the list from http://www.us.playstation.com/store
edit: I think he may have added 1 more item though - wgwg2, on 12/28/2007, -0/+0Get one for free by filling out a free offer and getting 5 of your friends to fill one out too. It is easy and won't cost you anything if you do the one from stamps.com and cancel after three weeks. Register here:

Hello Digg.com visitors. This story is filed under Shopping Tips. Afterall I4U NEWS is a technology news magazine AND a Shopping Guide. So clearly this is not spam and we also did not submit this story to digg. - luuna99, on 12/01/2007, -0/+0Thanks to your information about wiialerts.com, my little boy will have a very Merry Christmas this year! My son has Cerebral Palsy, and his doctors and his OT felt that a Wii might be good for his coordination and his fine motor skills. I have been looking for so long for one, to no avail. The "power sellers" on e-bay want more than I can afford. However, thanks to you, I signed up for cell alerts on Wednesday evening, and I had a Wii being sent to me by Friday afternoon from Amazon.com. Thank you for sharing your success with everyone. Parents everywhere should know this so that their children can enjoy these systems. Thank you for making our Christmas so very merry.
- imjackwhoareu, on 11/14/2007, -0/+0I got mine using http://wiialerts.com .
Pretty painless with their cellphone and email alerts. It took about 4 days for my first Wii. not bad. - lilldavid, on 02/26/2009, -0/+0I don't know so much about finding a wii, but I know how to find a wii fit. =) Pretty easy
- stevebrowne, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Depends on the page I guess. I like to think that the two sites I'm currently working on have a bit more credence than a simple list of affiliate links.
We auto check the online store sites and send emails out when stock comes in. We don't just slap a page up and hope people will click on it! There is a team of us working VERY long hours to keep everything running smoothly. We are running on a number of servers which cost real money. The fact that we use affiliate links - which, by the way cost you nothing extra at all if you buy something, but give us a small payment to help cover the costs does not make sites A BAD THING.
I notice that a number of the naysayers in this thread have Google ads on their homepages. But I guess that's OK. We're trying to run this as our jobs, providing a free service for the Internet public, by the online stores paying affiliate fees to us. Does that really make us bad people?
But I won't mention the sites here in case you think it's unclean. - bonnie4jack, on 11/15/2007, -0/+0Fantastic find this http://wiialerts.com site! thanks.
I managed to buy 2 Wiis for my kids and my sisters' kids yesterday from Amazon based on cell alerts from this http://wiialerts.com site. My kids are going to be so thrilled this Christmas. - scratt, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1You can walk into any store in downtown Bangkok and pick up either a Wii or a PS3 without any trouble. You can even get Zelda.. I don't know what all the fuss is about.
- felchdonkey, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I'm glad to see I wasn't the first to notice that this was nothing but a poorly spelled, hastily constructed page of affiliate links. Marked as spam, and puzzled as to why enough people dugg it to make the front page.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1I'm more interested in the I4U Gadget model photos. XD
- heybert00, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Why is everybody bitching about the webpages that have affiliate links on them. If a website offers you information to find what you are looking for, what is wrong with that? Nobody is complaining that Nintendo or Sony make a profit off of selling the game systems. And for all the people that say just go to Ebay and find them, Ebay makes a profit off of a seller listing an item and them charges the seller another fee when the item sells. They get paid twice on every auction. Also, no one cares about the people who are actually listing these items for sale at a huge profit. They are the ones who are driving up prices! And lastly, for all you saints out there who think it is a bad idea to make a living off the internet, just about every website out there is profiting in one way or the other from the information that they provide to you. Do you think they go through the effort of building web pages for fun, NO they are out to make money, JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1I got a list
www.ebay.com - xZel, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Definitely could be a bigger list but not bad.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1To those who want a Wii, I can only offer this one
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220053046054 - Alphateam, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1That is the truth. Nunchuks were hard to find even on release day. Wiimotes are no where to be found around here.
- merkul, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1If only someone could tell me where to buy a Wii-mote AND a nunchuk. They're out of stock in every store I've come across.
- BlackSheepx, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1I'd like to go ahead and add that newegg is a good source for Wii games..they have almost all the games out now in stock and future ones for pre-order...twilight princess was in stock for $52 shipped a few days ago, but i refreshed the page a minute later and it was out of stock..
- retral, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1Damn. I wish this list was here last night. I spent like an hour scouting stores.
- soulscreme, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1froogle.google.com?
