    “But one time, this dream got weirder, I found myself literally inside the test arena, just as if I was inside the game, only it all seemed very real! I was surrounded by all the monsters of the game, but they were all very nice to me, I was the mean one. I was like the mean coach of a sport team, always yelling at the monsters because they were not doing what I was asking them to do, ‘You guys don’t get it, this is not the way you should react when you hear a noise, that doesn’t work,’ or things like that. And the monsters were very nice, doing their best to try to please me, but every time they were just doing the exact opposite of what I was asking them to do."

  • tattertech, on 12/02/2008, -0/+5First time I made it through a grueling 3 and a half hour Expert mode game of Left 4 Dead, I went to bed immediately after (at about 4:30 in the morning). All of my dreams were playing or being in L4D. Not that weird for me though, I have zombie apocalypse dreams every couple of weeks at least.

    We have a legally binding agreement with Microsoft to use and recreate whatever Battletech/Mechwarrior assets we so desire at the cost of not selling or profiting from our product.

    We also have an NDA-based agreement with Crytek to not share their secrets or assistance we have been given but we're also not given access to any Source Code, so we have to create the code ourselves for Mechs/Vehicles/Aircraft/Infantry.

    Our game is free, the only cost is a copy of Crysis to play.

  • UltimatrixmaN, on 12/02/2008, -0/+2I've been working on a Crysis Total Conversion Mod called Mechwarrior: Living Legends and it really does get into your head when you spend 4-12 hours a day working on assets and falling asleep on your keyboard only to dream about creating more assets.

    It is good though because you end up solving problems in your sleep. I model assets for example, so when I'm stuck on a complex part of geometry I sleep on it and when I wake up I normally have the problem solved in moments, even if I beat my head into the keyboard for hours. Sometimes I don't remember the dream but when I wake up and get back to work I feel as though I've solved the problem already and just do it.

    Also, when I was reading Watchmen a few months ago, in many of my dreams, everyone was talking in that almost Shakespearean way Ozzy speaks. It was really freaking me out.
