- MatthewDoucette, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3The vids are good. I should have "comment spammed" the link to his main page. Here it is:
http://www.speedcubing.com/chris/
The videos are right off this main page. - dougr33d, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2For any who are interested, you can try it out on the same Rubik's Cube applet that Chris used here: http://www.puzzlingaddiction.com/Cube/applet
- Sazime, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I want to see someone doing it with an ACTUAL cube that is 20x20x20. That would be neat.
- MatthewDoucette, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hmmm... I take it the (1) next to my username means that I now have submitted an article (this one!) that made the homepage? Now I digg it.
- saysaknow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1...I hope it's a girl...or that'd be ***** up.
- dougr33d, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Actually, there are physical cubes up to 6x6x6 that are nearly ready for production ( http://www.olympicube.com has one nearly ready that they have already posted a video of, although it is not on their site any more, and Uwe Meffert of http://www.mefferts.com is working on one as well ). 7x7x7's are works in progress. Cubes up to and beyond 11x11x11 are basically just conceptual so far.

- MatthewDoucette, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The 20x20x20 Rubik's cube applet Chris used is offline. Anyone have an alternative?

- insertnamehere, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It hurts my brain to watch this, I can't even think of how I'd start one of those.
- MatthewDoucette, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Web Archive has it, but it doesn't load:
http://web.archive.org/web/20040615070419/http://www.oinkleburger.com/Cube/ - bigz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0some of the videos on his site are amazing!
- jtibble, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow, it's amazing, but this was new over a year ago (when I first got into rubik's cubes).
- baltakatei, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0You gotta love these useless skills. They can't help you pay the rent, but it sure does look cool! If only there was a real-world application...
- ebolasmallpox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0amazing
- MatthewDoucette, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I just found it:

But, no proof it is true. - McNamron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ungh...math is hard. I'm glad there are people like this to do the heavy lifting for us!

- binarypower, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Watch me scratch my head and go wow...
- dougr33d, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"if just put the effort into it like he did with the 20x20x20 cube he would be the man....."
I know him. Trust me, he is the man :P
Oh, and actually, as impressive as it is, it is no more difficult than solving the centers of a 5x5x5 (without the single fixed centers as a guide) and the edges of a 4x4x4. - MatthewDoucette, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There are physical cubes made up to 11x11x11, but I cannot find the page right now. Those who did it won an award when the designed their 6x6x6 cube.
- MatthewDoucette, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"it is no more difficult than solving the centers of a 5x5x5 (without the single fixed centers as a guide) and the edges of a 4x4x4."
He explains a bit of it here:
http://www.speedcubing.com/chris/bigcubes-info.html#difficult - theman8631, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0fukn sick
- Thatcuber, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That must of been confusing with that applet rather than a simulator like gabbasoft, it might take ages but it's worth the sense of achivement afterwards.
- MatthewDoucette, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0He did it. Most people cannot.
- Crazyguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0How do we know that he wasn't messing with the time. It could of taken days.
- zenghost, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0this man without question has too much time...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Amazing, I've been able to do the 3x3x3, but I never tried to go further (no real need...)
- nanvan, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0BORING.......................................
- BadMammaJamma, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1What a loser. Get yourself laid.

- rhfootball, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Chris Harwick is cute, but not as cute as Kevin Rose! Check out the Kevin Rose is Cute BLOG! http://kevinroseiscute.blogspot.com/
- BugMeNot2, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0^You used the incorrect "your".
- Jeppy, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0I just have one question.....WHY?
I'll bet he does not get laid often....if just put the effort into it like he did with the 20x20x20 cube he would be the man..... - FRAGaLOT, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0Good lord that was the most boring geekiest thing I've ever saw. I wish I could undigg it.
