- insanewriters, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9It is a great game. My "non-gamer" friends caught onto it very quickly. I'm just glad they finally want to play something other than Wii Sports bowling.
- shooby, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8"The positions you need to hold the wiimote in are introduced one at a time"
That guy who introduces the positions...his voice is so damn funny to me. This is an incredibly addicting game. I enjoy it much more than Rayman. If you have Wii, BUY IT - blofeld9999, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7So to put that in perspective, Wario Ware is about the same caliber as an Xbox Live Arcade game, or 2 of the Burger King Xbox 360 games?
I don't think so. I'd place Wario Ware far above any of those in terms of quality. Picking up a phone isn't the entire game, it's one of about 200 microgames. - tafkaz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7I was actually disappointed with the game. I finished it a lot faster than I expected, maybe 2 or 2 and a half hours. Now trying to unlock all of the games is just tedious. There also aren't any of the fun toys that were on the gameboy versions. And once you figure the microgames out, they aren't fun or challenging anymore like they were on ds. I've been surprised at how little replay value this has. I would definitely suggest it as a rent, but probably not a buy.
- butchiebags, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7oh yeah? did you play it?! huh!? i think that's one of the best ones! I especially like how the wiimote speaker says funny stuff once you have it in your ear!
- bwanac, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Looks to be an pretty good party game. I wonder if you need to know the controls or is it pick up and play for anyone?
- sharpfork, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Its a pick up and play for anyone open to playing an odd and somewhat frantic game (not grandma). The positions you need to hold the wiimote in are introduced one at a time so you build up the ability to quickly change the way you hold the wiimote over time.
I just got it last night and am wanting to play it more than Zelda at the moment. - rockforever, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Bought it the day it came out. Some of the form baton positions are pretty wierd, like the Mohawk. But there really fun. My sis was watching me doin a big cheese form and she kept laughing at me. 5 minutes later she wanted to play.
- roxya, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5"There is a game where you have to put the Wiimote DOWN and then pick it up like a phone when you hear a ringing sound. That's just awesome."
Uhhhh.... I'm correct in assuming this isn't in fact, a joke?
What's fun about that? - sdrawkcaB, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5If you have fast reflexes you can pick up the game easily. I bought it first day and still haven't even taken out the manual (though I have bought and played other versions of wario ware). Today my friend tried it out and fared pretty well for me just sticking a controller in their hands.
The only bad part of the game is it's probably less than 1/2 as long as the DS version was, though being twice as fun makes up for the smaller game. Highly recommended purchase for anyone with a Wii. - otatop, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4You have to beat the single-player to unlock the multiplayer, though.
- ibeetle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I bought this the day it came out. My wife and I didn't really care for it. It is less a game with clear goals and achievements and more a party game and time waster.
I will probably put it up on Ebay this weekend. I would highly recommend you borrow or rent a copy before dropping 50 bucks on a game that should be 20. - stukast1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I have my wii as a party system and the lack of competitive multiplayer right out of the box for warioware is a little disappointing but the game is fun nonetheless
- onClipEvent, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6I still can't get a Wii!
- Ignignokt01, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5It's a party game dude. I don't think the singleplayer was their priority when making it.
- Wailord, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I actually just stopped playing it a minute ago. It's an absolutely fantastic game, and it's up there with Twilight Princess for the best Wii game, in my opinion. Some of the microgames are WTF-worthy, and some you just want to keep doing. Great game.
- djjuice, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3this game is really fun, easier than the other warioware games. Also it only uses 1 wiimote, even for mutiplayer, so oddly you have to hand over the remote to play with 2 or more people.
not to mention the directions say "never let go of the wiimote" but one game says to let go of it... - bouche, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3My girlfriend smashed her knuckles on our stucco ceiling during that boss stage where you hold the remote in the mohawk position and have to jump over hurdles.
- bstock, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3If anyone is going to buy this game, I'd suggest using this:

I went on Tuesday, and it works great. $42 total - AshWii, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Actually, the game should be used for store displays to showcase the many uses of the Wii remote. It might be fun to walk up and play a little game in a store..but at home..not so much
- mikie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4answering a phone is fun when it flies through the tv and hits you in the face at a million beats per second!
just mho. - AshWii, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I got this game yesterday. While it's very creative in it's use of controls...it's just not that entertaining. Rayman beats this game by far.
- pensivewombat, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4If you haven't played this series you just won't get why it deserves to be a full priced title. (and trust me, it absolutely does) It's not a micro-game collection, it's an experience. It's really one of the most creative game series out there right now.
- BabyWookie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Seriously...You gotta be one hard-core non-gamer wiitard in order to fork out $50 for a collection of shallow mini-games. BTW, I played WarioWare on the GBA. It was kind of fun. Just about $10 worth of fun.
- BabyWookie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"I agree with mcatrage. Why the hell is he being dugg down? He presented his opinion maturely."
You can make the most valid, well-formulated, constructive comment ever, but the wiitards will automatically digg it down if it's even remotely critical or questioning of Nintendo. - ceralor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It's an awesome late-game or party game. We decided to do multiplayer modes after watching the owner fooling around with it for a bit, and had a blast.

- o0joshua0o, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Thanks, bstock. You're my Hero.
http://www.bradleystock.com/files/public/vid/heroes/ - blofeld9999, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Yeah, since one game that you don't like came out on the Wii, the whole console sucks,
I guess since I don't like the Mobile Suit Gundam on the PS3, the whole console is crap.
Makes sense to me. - PixelVision, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2sounds like the sesame street phone
- spyrochaete, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2WarioWare might not have been one of the best launch titles. Games like that are perfect to fill out a collection since you can pick up and play for a few minutes and then put it away. When it's one of the only games you have you tend to play all the way through it in one go.
You'll see - you'll get some more games and then you'll get a hankering for Wario. You'll play for 10 minutes, get bored, and put it on the shelf for 2 weeks when the craving sets in again. - bizstyler, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Great to pick up and play with others so you can laugh at each others attempts or on your own when you just feel like a little crazy fun.
The male voice introducing wiimote 'forms' is hilarious... I tried to imitate the voice but couldn't quite get to that lusty level. - spyrochaete, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I finished Rabbids on PC and laughed my ass off at the games and especially the bunnies. The tone is definitely better than the game, but it's good for just the novelty. I love how the rabbits scream for your blood in the arena at first, then they're almost completely silent with some little murmurs, and finally they scream their heads off praising you. Too funny!
- jeffthejiff, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2As above I was disappointed at how little there is to do, especially in the way of multiplayer. It is a lot of fun while it lasts though, and hilarious as usual.
I've had my Mum on it so i'd say it's pretty accessible. She's better than me at Bungee Buddies.. :( - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5That's just awesome?
I don't care if it is just one of many mini games...Answering a phone is NOT just awesome. - Smoktiludy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Think of the single player as an in-depth tutorial. Multiplayer during a party is what this game is for.
- p33rl3ss, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I just want more Wii Sports!!
- BabyWookie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Well said.
- Siraris, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I've gotta ask, MrBabyMan - How much is Ars paying you to shill their site on here?
- kingfelix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1well, i guess i'll be buying it from you for $20 then.
- Wytefang, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Actually it's more the fact that the whole console has been built around a gimmick and also the fact that there just aren't too many interesting games available or coming in the near future for the system. Tack onto that the sub-par graphics, awkward online features and you have a console that's just not quite up to snuff except for the more die-hard Nintendo fans, unfortunately. A lot of us wanted to like the system but after seeing it in action and seeing the long-term game-release schedule, we realized that this is a system that would probably be better purchased much farther along in its shelf-life. Nuff said.
- Wytefang, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4"--There is a game where you have to put the Wiimote DOWN and then pick it up like a phone when you hear a ringing sound. That's just awesome --"
Wow..that sounds...um..yeah...really 'awesome'. What an amazing concept. A mini-game where you answer a phone. Boy, can they come up with some amazing games for the wii-mote or what?
More like 'or what', I'm afraid. Yet another example of gameplay that reminds many of us why we're glad that we don't own a Wii. Yawn. - shiftless, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I like the game a lot, but why do you have to hand the wiimote to other people in multiplayer? I can understand for anything past 4 players, but I thought I was having wiimote connectivity issues for an hour until I realized that you CAN'T USE TWO WIIMOTES!!! They want you to pass it around? Yes, it is social, but also very stupid.
It seems to be designed as a party game, and at many parties there is drinking and relying on a bunch of drunken fools to put on that strap every time they pass the controller every 3 seconds is just incredibly STUPID. I mean there is a game where it tells you to DROP the Wiimote!! Heck, in single player I once picked the remote off the table having it fly up and over, and had the strap not been there it would have gone into a lamp. - spideyman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I love the DS and GBA versions, so I will grab this one as well. Should be great fun with the wiimote.
- Smoktiludy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Patience, my friend. Selling your Wii right now isn't smart unless it was profitable.
- mostman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1The hand-off-the-remote process is so that 12 players can play.
- NoQuarter, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2The phone is one of my favourites, along with the champagne game where you hold your thumb over the IR sensor on the top, shake it a few times then point it at the screen and pull your thumb off, squirting at some strange people. Brilliant.
- WizardofWor, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3Im amazed at what people think is a great game. The Wii just doesnt look so HOT anymore. Im glad I waited to purchase this console so now I wont. lol
- charlescheese, on 10/12/2007, -7/+5Oh please don't compare it Rayman, that really makes me not want to buy it, and I've been looking forward to this game. I found Rayman to be tedious and boring. I love my Wii, and love Wii Sports and Zelda, but so far I haven't found anything else that's doing it for me yet. I played Rayman for about an hour and then had absolutely no desire to play it again.
- PurpleSfinx, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2I think answering it like a phone would be great if it was a puzzle solution in a game like Another Code: Two Memories. But as for it being the whole minigame... There's no achievement or skill. Sounds boring to me personally.
