- stealthboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5The light pulsates when you have a new message... I'd rather have an option to just have it on (at a constant brightness) at all times when the unit is on.
- defectDS, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Well at least it's more credible that the kid who said a hard drive "DOES" definitely work with the wii and then says "well at least that's the theory" and then admits he doesn't even have a Wii. He even gave detailed how-to instructions, wth?
Kids these days. Spoiled and grasping for attention. - idleminded, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Inaccurate. As soon as you turn on the Wii, the light stops flashing.
- joshlewis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I prefer my light to only come on when I actually have a new message I want to read. If I do this email hack, I'll never know if I have a new, unread message because that's the hack: force yourself to always have a new, unread message.
That's like leaving yourself a voicemail that you never listen to in order to have your voicemail indicator keep flashing. Except that it looks cooler on the Wii. :-) - caffiend, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Ok, I swear the Wii kiosk at Target is always blue. Is it just some kind of fake Wii built only for kiosks?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Well, it's very cool.
- Brutis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1light doesn't stay on for good, it goes away, this method has been out for awhile, i tried it over a week ago
- sparton, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1They should just add a feature thats the blue light will turn on when the Wii is on and you do not have a game running. So if your using the browser or browsing through the menu the wii light should be on.
I do know when your sleeping and you have you wii about 5 feet away from you it lights up the whole room. - Chugaboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I remember reading something a few months ago how Nintendo did originally have a constant light on but it ended up being a complaint by the focus groups.
bastards... I want my blue light on. - viruselectriko, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2i loved that from the article:
"I haven't personally verified that this will work (seeing as I am still waiting for my Wii), but of friend of mine who has his Wii told me this is how you do it and I've verfied this with several internet sources."
