- Splitt3rxx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10*****, I just wanted to walk into a walmart at 9:00PM on 11/18 and walk out with a wii the next day.
- Husky217, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I hope they don't force people to buy the bundle... "Customer Choice's Bundle" isn't very fitting. I've already pre-ordered Twilight Princess at EBgames, I just want a console now. I like those other games, but I'll wait before picking them up.
- Nomad83, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Just great, sign up for ANOTHER pre-order newletter...that worked so well for Amazon.
- fldash, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4And you will be able to do just that, don't worry about these pre-orders at Walmart.com; they are simply for online pre-orders.
- abohling, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5They never said they weren't going to sell the Wii but rather that they weren't going to have a playable setup. Have you been to a Walmart? They pack every last inch of the store with merchandise leaving little space for hyperactive kids (and adults) flailing around with a wii-mote.
- biffsputnik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I think someone would've seen it available or even claimed having snagged one had it been up; I'm agreeing that I think it hasn't been opened up yet. Someone post if you see it available..
- TimDigg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I'm suprised Wal-Mart doesn't just sell Wii as soon as they get them in...
Wal-Mart can take any lawsuit nintendo would hit them with - Crutch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2oh that works, but you won't be waiting alone.
- seanthebond, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2WalMart will not be pre-ordering up in Canada. Or at least not the two ones that I talked to, just to let all of you Canucks know.
- ifoundgodot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I'll be going to Walmart to get my Wii for one reason- mines 24/7. If what people have been saying is correct, I'll be playing my Wii around midnight :)
If my theories are incorrect, someone please tell me. - Maxington, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2The have the games up now for pre-order.
- m00dy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1WalMart is not stupid, they dont have 280+ billion dollars in revenue for nothing
- yourlostsocks, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5Funny, weren't these the same people who won't be putting up kiosks because the Wii is too dangerous? Well, glad to see they're coming around and realizing that this is going to be something they will want to have lots of in stock this season.
- raindog469, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I was already signed up for the Wal-mart newsletter, but I still haven't gotten the notification even though the preorder came and went in 10 minutes this morning.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah, does anyone know are you only going to be able to pre-order that bundle?
- farther, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It makes sense that it's out of stock - it won't be IN stock until it is released!
- p0wl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5303669
Not sure if this is new... Unfortunately, I don't want that many games at launch. :P Also, I have only seen it "out of stock," I have yet to see it able to purchase. - michaelb1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1sold out!
WTF!
I thought there was supposed to be plenty of Wii's. - strictnein, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Two things:
One - it was for a $530 bundle
Two - it has been sold out already - miek1212, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Imagine a world where Walmart has 0 Nintendo related products. Scary huh? If they sell them early, Nintendo could just pull their $12 profit per unit sold Wii's from Walmart shelves.
- gleb32, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It looks like their Pre-order was for the bundle only. All of the links on their site that say "order Wii today" lead to the bundle that is "Out of Stock"....
I really wanted a Wii, so much for that then ey? - cmdrNacho, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1http://wii.nintendo.com/ 11/19/06 .. if anyone else was wondering. thanks
- po43292, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2yeah by the time you get the notification in your inbox they're "out" of preorders again
- Soniti, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is my EXACT situation.
I hope we can find just the consoles somewhere..
~Soniti - velvet396, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1notice how at the bottom they list ZeldaTP as being for Revolution, not Wii. lol!
- spidoman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1because you having a slower internet connection or not typing as fast as others is totally walmart's fault...
- aupton, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1just a hunch, but if u check nintendo.com you might find your answer there...
- rjp_wayne2018, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1walmart.com has always doesn this, like with the 360; they presale online, but not in stores.
- ifoundgodot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@crutch
Oh yeah, I figure that, I'll be waiting at least since saturday morning. - cogsprocket, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Controller - $60
- MattyLite, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1November 19th
- cmdrNacho, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1when is the official release date for the wii ? I've heard several different dates, but I know its soon.
- ewy99, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Edit: This is the correct link. There were two threads with the same title at slickdeals:
http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=0&t=338874&highlight=tmx+walmart - ewy99, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Check out what happened with Walmart and their Tickle Me Elmo Xtreme situation. It was so funny watching this thread at slickdeals.net. The walmart would show the elmo's in stock, then 3 minutes later, not in stock. Hope the same thing is not going to happen with Wii!
This is the link I was refering to:
http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=0&t=356706&highlight=tmx - mydave, on 08/04/2008, -0/+0Wii becomes more popular day by day.

http://rhondawalkerfoundation.org/photos.htm - gameshocked, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0console = $250
4 games about = $200
wii points = $25
Total = $475 a difference of about $50
I totally went into panic mode, when I saw walmarts presale..
your right.. what up with the difference.. I bought the darn thing so fast - just to make sure i have one for my son. I didn't even add first.. Also,
don't forget 25 bucks shipping and tax.. total.. $592.07..
I should be committed somewhere.. - RoadDogg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0you're forgetting about the extra controller and nunchuck.
Console = $250
4 games = $200
Wiimote = $40
Nunchuck = $20
Points = $25
Total = $535 - gameshocked, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Still more than i wanted to pay NOW.. but I know, i'm buying it all eventually.. and if the system shows up close to the 19th.. i'll be happy - my son thrilled.
my status says "processing" for the unit and controllers - the games give delivery dates.
OK.. now do I need to buy another "classic" controller - or do the ones from the gamecube work with WII?
thanks - tendonut, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I think they mean the BUNDLES were sold out. I highly doubt that the systems are even coming close to being sold out.
- Danjak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I don't think they actually started taking orders yet. I could be completely wrong, but didn't the e-mail notice go up this morning? I find it hard to believe they would put that up the same day the started taking orders. AND that they would sell out of +$500 bundles so fast. I think that the page will be updated later to change from "out of stock" to "limited quantity." Completely my opinion, but I think I'm right.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1And the controller/numchuck:
http://www.warpedfromthepipe.com/2006/10/31/walmart-website-doing-wii-preorders-tomorrow-111/ - scottinks, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Screw Walmart!!! I attempted to pre-orer the Wii the moment they were in stock online. I had it in my cart and was entereing payment info. I hit enter, and all of a sudden it was out of stock and woulnd't let me complete my order.
- cogsprocket, on 10/12/2007, -6/+4Thanks again for pointing that out. Wii is looking to be more popular than people are expecting. I imagine a lot of PS3 shutouts will probably wind up getting one to ease the wait.
- emp13, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0I don't understand where they came up with $533
console = $250
4 games about = $200
wii points = $25
Total = $475 a difference of about $50
Not having to go into WalMart = priceless - ktc629, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0overrated!
- klacour, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Do a search on Wal-Mart.com for "PS3" .. the same link to subscribe to the same newsletter comes up for pre-ordering the PS3.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -17/+1Lots in stock because of low demand?
