- anonatron, on 10/12/2007, -6/+3It seems a bit silly to have a news channel, I mean I have digg in my favorites already!
- junkmail02, on 10/12/2007, -15/+2my local news channel just announced they are going full HD. they are equipped with HD cameras and are in the process of training their cameramen. The switch is scheduled for Feb 1st 2007. I can't wait, i'll be watching my local news in HD while you suckers are streaming choppy IPTV on your ***** xbox 360s. pwned.

those 9/11 videos are actually pretty good. you just have to actually watch them instead of screaming out SPAM! Thanks daylight101 for informing all of us. +1 digg from me.
the same group of people that scream SPAM also scream FAKE whenever there is a picture on digg. get a life and grow up kids. - docdoak, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Forget the news channel...we need a digg channel!
- adidax, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7@ daylight1o1
LOL so you have 2 accounts now?....
First rule of spammer spending, why spam once when you can spam twice at twice the price. - Avili, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1@adidax
lol I should digg you down for making a reference to that horrible Contact movie :O
>>First rule in government spending: why build one when you can have two at twice the price - abid786, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2And unlike the old spammers, this one actually "writes" a short comment before giving his myspace link....on ALL his comments

According to the article, it is coming on Jan.27... is this confirmed?- wakachamo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Yes it has been confirmed. You'll be doing an update on the 27th and boom, you have it on the Wii Menu.
- mazerrackham, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4My kitties will finally be able to stay abreast of current events. Thank you, Nintendo Wii!
- canewediggit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5i'm interested in seeing where the actual 'news' is coming from (and since the vid is in nihongo, i have no clue). will they be aggregating from various sources like cnn/bbc/ap? will it just be similar to a hosted ap wire site? will it be nintendo's own? why not just make it cnn live?
and they better keep it updated better than the weather channel, which gives 4 hour old "current" conditions- SkippyDoorknob, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5You're lucky, the "current" weather info for Sacramento is often 12-14 hours old!
- NinjaBoy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3here in BFE Missouri its pretty accurate!
- zeldafan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Most of the time the weather can't even be pulled at all, let alone an accurate reading, they should just hook up with weather.com and allow us to put in a zip code.
- docdoak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yeah, my weather channel is always hours old :(
- gungaroo22, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2News is from AP.
- mdoom, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2@canewediggit
Nintendo announced that the source of the news will be AP - nullmind, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1So either play a fun game or help manufacture consent by supporting the AP and corporate agenda..
- adidax, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Damn, now I wish I would have paid attention to our Japanese instructor at school, instead of just staring...
- matthewhemby, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1If it doesn't support syndication (RSS) I'm not interested.
