- mattmacneil, on 10/25/2009, -1/+182I always felt a little guilty leading Yoshi off cliffs. Though I'd get him back minutes later, I still felt like a monster.
- Namaha, on 10/26/2009, -2/+174How many people are going to post this for cheap diggs now?
- Favreism, on 10/25/2009, -1/+164Only the Goomba die young
- OmNomNomBACON, on 10/25/2009, -18/+154***** you man! Two of my friends died from taking Half-Life too seriously.

猫マナー猫マナー猫マナー猫マナー猫マナー猫マナー - rocknog, on 10/26/2009, -0/+128That wasn't nearly bad as leaping off of Yoshi as you're plummeting to your doom in order to save yourself. Eh, sometimes it just had to be done - no point in dying along with him if you can't save him, obviously, but it didn't change the fact that I felt awful whenever I did it.
- norwegianlegion, on 10/26/2009, -0/+106Just seeing that N64 item box brought back memories. Remember the beach map with the tunnel that went straight through the rock and let you skip half the track if you had an item boost to get into it? And if you used it your friends absolutely despised you? And if your friends didn't know where the short cuts were they tried to ban them, but then you used them anyway and they got REALLY angry and probably quit? Remember the track with the desert and the train track, and you'd head into the tunnel to get rammed by the train if you were losing for ***** and giggles? Remember playing battle on the big tiered cube map, and if you went down to the bottom level it was essentially suicide because shells never broke and it was one big hell pit? Remember the old school Yoshi noises, which were far cooler than the ones today that make him sound like a gay dinosaur with a speech impediment?
I really need to crack out the N64 Mario Kart. So many awesome summers... - Th1rte3n, on 10/26/2009, -0/+101http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~cheim/yoshi.jpg
- acela1012, on 10/26/2009, -1/+78anyone else just came from the "necrophilia" article and saw this exact same comment?
- Jarasmen, on 10/26/2009, -3/+74Bricks have been shat.
- bales2552, on 10/26/2009, -0/+70WHAT HAVE I BECOME!?!?!
- Puppytwo, on 10/25/2009, -1/+68Where is my glover game, I loved that thing.
- fallark, on 10/26/2009, -1/+63That's helluva off-topic optical illusion...
- super12xero, on 10/25/2009, -0/+47Lol on the item box one.
- jasonmicha, on 10/25/2009, -0/+44Dance Dance Revolution like no one is watching...so deep...my nerdy jr. high girlfriend would have loved to put that in your AIM profile.
- iheartbakon, on 10/26/2009, -0/+37WTF HAX!
- cCPanda, on 10/25/2009, -0/+36 She would have loved to put that in my AIM profile.... that's weird.
- schwiggityschwa, on 10/26/2009, -0/+35I remember playing Wario Stadium with my friend and literally pulling off a 9-second lap (jump over the left wall using the bump at the beginning, and them jump back over before the finish line). He just put the controller down, while the race was still going, and left. I cackled long and hard, but then I was sad because I didn't have a single friend anymore.
:'( - jasonmicha, on 10/26/2009, -0/+33I need to start proofreading my digg comments...
- iVisionX01, on 10/26/2009, -0/+27Yup.
- Zihuatanejo, on 10/26/2009, -1/+26You require more vespene gas.
- Velocity14, on 10/26/2009, -0/+24I was personally fond of using a ***** item in a really awesome way to gain lead right before the finish line. Every time it happened, it felt like a miracle.
- waketherabble, on 10/25/2009, -0/+23Oh my god, I remember Glover...
- fireashes, on 10/25/2009, -0/+22Your next life is worth 100 coins.
- NJDevils30, on 10/26/2009, -0/+16The frankenstein boss was easily the worst part of that game. I remember spending hours trying to beat it when I was younger :(
But yeah people actually did enjoy that game. - SierraAlpha, on 10/26/2009, -1/+17Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
I require more Vespene gas. - Nitrodist88, on 10/26/2009, -0/+16Hugh Laurie is... Gordon Freeman.
- insanekoz, on 10/26/2009, -0/+16Can you believe Mario Kart 64 is now 12 years old?
I miss the good old days.
When Nintendo didn't call their console a Wii. - Velocity14, on 10/26/2009, -0/+16If the race was really close, I would hold the banana peel behind me until they were nearby, then I'd brake check or swerve into their trajectory to wipe 'em out. A couple of times I've managed to use the green shell to totally luck out and bounce it off the wall to hit them. Using items as rear guards and getting another item box was a must. I've managed to avoid being hit by a blue shell on multiple occasions (if you go over a super jump right as it's about to plop down on you, it misses).
Frantically using the super mushroom boost like a madman has gotten me into 1st a lot... the adrenaline rush I get holding my breath while managing to stay on track during the insanity makes me feel extremely guilty for being so involved with such a meaningless talent. But I love Mario Kart anyway... - HMMcKamikaze, on 10/26/2009, -0/+15But could they run crysis?
- MonkeyFit, on 10/26/2009, -0/+15Like a banana. I swear those ***** had to be left perfectly. Though it was always loads of fun when you were playing someone who knew the track by heart and had a very specific route they took for the fastest time. Then you just drop it in a turn right where they pass and let them spin as they're power-sliding. If you got really good with them you could throw them in front of other people. But you had to know what you were doing with them or they were utter *****.
- Carrie76, on 10/26/2009, -0/+15I like the quotes in Call of Duty during the loading screens. My personal favorite: "Incoming fire always has the right of way"
- Sil369, on 10/26/2009, -0/+15i accidentally your AIM profile.
- Sabretou, on 10/26/2009, -0/+14@_@
- Mujokan, on 10/26/2009, -0/+14I went looking for an explanation but couldn't find one.
猫: Cat
マナー: Manners (as in good manners -- this is what silent mode on a phone is called)
コロコロー: Sound effect for the ball rolling
Seems like "cat manners" is basically just random for the illusion.
Another one about cats, but most are not cat related:

Says manor cats over and over and looks like the shape of an S? - jman583, on 10/26/2009, -0/+14So they had one full life? Bum dum tish
- Kcaj, on 10/25/2009, -1/+15What a horrible night to have a curse.
- jack104, on 10/26/2009, -0/+13The wolfenstein 3D one was pretty good....except he had 8% health and the little smiling face at the bottom of the screen didn't have a scratch on it....it should have been all bloody and junk.
- Velocity14, on 10/26/2009, -0/+12Ah... Yoshi betrayal and the sinking lure... I'm pretty sure a couple of these proverbs were mantras for me as a kid.
- Demalaxy, on 10/26/2009, -1/+13Yeah man, they're deeeeep... far out.
- clouds31, on 10/25/2009, -1/+12Poor Yoshi
- Solis, on 10/26/2009, -0/+10No it doesn't...
- iheartbakon, on 10/26/2009, -0/+10I heard a certain rom hustler has it.
- weister42, on 10/26/2009, -0/+9One princess saved equals to one princess kidnapped.
- DhalsimHibiki, on 10/25/2009, -3/+12Yea, as far as I remember it was an atrocious game. I would rather not have gloved at all...
- inactive, on 10/26/2009, -0/+8Example in description and a few others were quite lame, but there were some funny ones here.
- BryanTravers, on 10/26/2009, -0/+7I spent a lot of time perfecting the Rainbow Road shortcut for Mario Kart 64. Took awhile to get, but was totally worth it when you pulled it off.
Pro tip: Aim for the blue hash. - eqrunner, on 10/26/2009, -0/+7dugg for the last one. If you love something, set it free, if it doesn't return. There is a cliff ahead'
- holyskeleton, on 10/26/2009, -2/+8don't take life too seriously, you'll never get out alive.
