- nymphetamine, on 09/29/2008, -0/+61What I do with my Xbox, in the privacy of my home, is none of your business.
- MikeonTV, on 09/28/2008, -6/+66I dont think that bothers me
- svartgotik, on 09/29/2008, -8/+58I accidentally my XBOX packaging.
- homer420032003, on 09/28/2008, -1/+38WARNING: Don't lick your Xbox.
- benitojuarez, on 09/29/2008, -1/+34Vids been yanked from youtube. Anyone have a mirror?
- jmspikers, on 09/28/2008, -0/+32Not a surprise. At my last job our staffroom was used for stock. Had to literally climb over it all to get to the kettle. Management got a pat on the back every time they "made" more space for stock.
- svartgotik, on 09/28/2008, -1/+24Well kinda makes me take the whole "no merchandise allowed in restrooms" sign a little less seriously.
- ThaDRD, on 09/29/2008, -0/+22That's because the employees wear diapers.
- nothugo, on 09/29/2008, -2/+22Reminds me of the time I accidentally a PS3
- bittermang, on 09/28/2008, -0/+20Except Gamestop bathrooms aren't public.
- pistonhonda, on 09/28/2008, -0/+19You should probably be worried if you're sleeping with your XBox 360 packaging.
- omgbanana, on 09/28/2008, -0/+16That's the case at the store I work at. It's probably the case at a lot of stores without storage space.
It's never really bothered me, though. The bathroom is really no dirtier than the rest of the store; it's hardly used as a bathroom. Most things are stored on bookshelves and off the floor, anyway. And finally, the only thing that could be "contaminated" are the boxes, but that's about it.
No one ever seems disgusted by fast food bags. Those things are dropped, walked on, and the whole works. Does it upset you that your toothbrush is stored in a bathroom? - MagMan68Classic, on 09/29/2008, -3/+18I've never seen a Gamestop/EB with a bathroom
- lanismycousin, on 09/28/2008, -3/+18so this is what causes the red ring o death ? =(
- twiztidsinz, on 09/29/2008, -5/+19Go back to 4chan.... here -> http://4chan.org
- MWeather, on 09/29/2008, -1/+14Anything that's been around humans for any length of time is covered in fecal coliform bacteria. it doesn't matter if it's in the bathroom or not. It's around YOU, and you are filthy.
- basye, on 09/28/2008, -2/+15If you knew what most gamers do in the bathroom...well, let's not go there.
- mrinsanity, on 09/29/2008, -0/+12not the WHOLE packaging!!!!!????!!!1111!
- crashingechelon, on 09/29/2008, -0/+11They all have one but they're employee's only.
- androothebear, on 09/29/2008, -0/+10im willing to bet there are 100x more germs on your typical xbox 360 controller than on most public toilet seats.
- AndrewDB, on 09/29/2008, -1/+11Explain to me (an ex-employee of a mall EB Games/Gamestop that did the exact same thing).. why this is such a big deal?
Small locations have to make do with the space they've got in their back room.. this is common practice. - TheBadWolf, on 09/29/2008, -0/+10I'm a current GameStop employee, and I've worked at two locations. This is pretty common practice. The company will pay for only the very minimum of square footage for the store, so we always end up storing a couple shipments of products in the bathroom. As an employee and a consumer, I really just don't care.
- darkphenox, on 09/29/2008, -0/+9and not in that one either they are not open to the public
- Nathrat, on 09/28/2008, -0/+9I briefly worked at a Gamestop and this is 100% true, since the backroom is the size of a cubicle, they have to go somewhere.
- AparoidX, on 09/28/2008, -2/+10Just say you're a plumber and stuff a few in your work bag.
- infinitus64, on 09/29/2008, -2/+10Yeah anyone who has a problem with them being in the restroom needs to grow up and stop being a little girl.
- infinitus64, on 09/29/2008, -0/+7NEW TO THE INTERNETS EH?
- Sabin, on 09/29/2008, -0/+7And you would be wrong. Its much more than 100x.
- DivisibleByZero, on 09/29/2008, -0/+6red ring of death + bathroom = call a doctor now!!!
- Ajajadude, on 09/28/2008, -0/+5Which is weird to hear since my company has been focusing on reducing excess backstock.
- Dymphna, on 09/29/2008, -0/+5While there are plenty of reasons not to, I fail to see why this matters at all. It's not like they are being stored in the toilet.
- z00k, on 09/29/2008, -0/+5I used to work at a Gamestop in Nebraska... They did this.
I visited the one in South Carolina.
They did it too.
If you would ever see how small the "employee room" was, you would understand. - Dymphna, on 09/29/2008, -0/+5Doesn't make a huge difference where in your house you keep your toothbrush, it still has fecal matter on it, Mythbusters proved that. The difference in a bathroom toothbrush and one across the house is pretty small.
- scalded, on 09/29/2008, -1/+6Piss enhances the flavor of most major US brews.
- svartgotik, on 09/28/2008, -2/+7AIDS is very fragile and dies very quickly outside of a host.
You should be worried about Hepatitis B. - z00k, on 09/29/2008, -0/+5Sounds pretty dangerous.
- TheBadWolf, on 09/29/2008, -0/+5That's because it's in the back room.
- blowedupt, on 09/29/2008, -0/+4EBGames Canada has this as policy. All hardware is to be stored in the washroom. Any stores not complying are subject to disciplinary action. Worked for them for five years, unfortunately.
- apena89, on 09/29/2008, -1/+5lol.
just bury me. - apena89, on 09/29/2008, -1/+5Penn and Teller proved that our own hands and face are dirtier than our asses and sacks.
- tectonix, on 09/29/2008, -7/+11reason #34328589468 to not shop or do anything with gamestop.
- inactive, on 09/29/2008, -1/+5Who cares? Imagine the SARS and other germs in the Chinese factories!
- Ransack, on 09/29/2008, -1/+5such as?Wait.. they wipe there ass with the controllers dont they...
- madk, on 09/29/2008, -0/+4The bathrooms are usually the only area outside of the main backroom area that can be locked. Makes sense to me.
- th33n3my, on 09/29/2008, -0/+4When I used to work in a pawn shop, we had little storage to work with; so every spot we could place stored items was never frowned upon.
- shiva14b, on 09/29/2008, -0/+4I've worked at 5 Gamestops in 3 states.... and we stored the consoles in the bathroom in 4 of them. The 5th was once a restaurant and had a huge back room where the kitchen used to be. When I walked in for the first time and saw the console-free bathroom, I didn't even know what to think. I had trouble finding stuff!
- Rupan, on 09/29/2008, -0/+3Yea, I worked at gamestop a few years back and we couldn't even close the door to our bathroom. Which was awkward if ya had to piss and there were female employees working with ya.
- Sabin, on 09/29/2008, -1/+4No biggie. A bar I go to keep beer kegs (empty and untapped) in the mens washroom. Has never bothered me.
- Sabin, on 09/29/2008, -0/+3WHY IS THERE ***** EVERYWHERE?!?!?
