- oblique63, on 04/12/2008, -3/+28now if only I could get my hands on 3 of those...
- gridbread, on 04/12/2008, -13/+34I love how the video starts.
SHOVE. - travis1982, on 04/12/2008, -2/+22nothing will play your hd dvds anymore...chump
- smrekar, on 04/12/2008, -3/+19perhaps you haven't seen the original PS3. This one is now thinner with a screen
- travis1982, on 04/12/2008, -2/+16What laptops don't need to be plugged in?
- waspinator, on 04/12/2008, -1/+15most dells have that option now.
- smrekar, on 04/12/2008, -2/+16Why do laptops have screens anyways?
- Mrlncognito, on 04/12/2008, -2/+14So was your post.
- clarity661, on 04/12/2008, -2/+12lol, you lost the format war...
- gannondork, on 04/12/2008, -4/+14"Sir turn off your laptop during takeoff" -stewardess.
"It's a PS3" - you
"Okay no problem then" -stewardess - iPenis, on 04/12/2008, -6/+16Ok it says "Laptop" so lemme put this big mother on my lap...... *Crunch*
Wheelchair here I come - LemmingJesus, on 04/12/2008, -0/+8You think the keyboard is painted on? Are you insane?
- massminority, on 04/12/2008, -3/+10I like how there is still and Xbox 360 hooked up to his TV in the background
- gannondork, on 04/12/2008, -4/+10It was probably off warranty and had RROD anyways, if it had any guts in it.
- JD52, on 04/12/2008, -3/+9Wow.... It's even smaller than the original Ps3 pfft
- Gravey9, on 04/12/2008, -1/+7Once again the point is missed...
- gannondork, on 04/12/2008, -2/+7What the Ben Heck.
- LemmingJesus, on 04/12/2008, -1/+6You're so ***** dense.
- ubrikkean, on 04/12/2008, -1/+6Would you prefer to cart around a television and original PS3?
- LemmingJesus, on 04/12/2008, -2/+6Well I'm sure glad three people took the time to tell us again and again that it's really an empty Xbox case. I know I would have never figured out the secret.
- knowitman, on 04/12/2008, -0/+3You can use any USB keyboard for sending messages and for using the web browser. Some games also have keyboard and mouse support like Unreal Tournament 3.
- ChristophyBrown, on 04/12/2008, -2/+5Sexy.
- inactive, on 04/12/2008, -1/+4Get off forums and out of the pubs or whatever you waste your time on. start drawing, programming etc... and get talented.
- Gravey9, on 04/12/2008, -1/+4You do it
- 35263526, on 04/12/2008, -2/+5I realize the parent was a joke, but given the other responses I feel compelled to answer; no, it can't, at least not until (if) Crysis is ported to the PS3. Even running Linux the machine still uses Cell which is based on POWER, not x86, so the Crysis binaries wouldn't work even wth Wine.
- thecrazyd, on 04/12/2008, -0/+2Text messages are useful for discussions while you are doing something else. I cannot up and call my girlfriend while at work, but I can send some discreet texts. They are also good for directions, as you have no need to write them down, and will have them with you on the go.
- marcrm, on 04/12/2008, -1/+3You can use a USB keyboard and mouse to go through the menus, but the main use of the mouse and keyboard (for me anyways) is with the built-in web browser... It's a lot better than using the controller.
- AustinMeoang, on 04/12/2008, -1/+3This is actually really cool. Can it be plugged into a tv like a normal ps3?
- Matt174e, on 04/12/2008, -2/+4Only if the blender has advanced cell processing micro-technology.
- dannboy, on 04/12/2008, -0/+2it rules
- jp135, on 04/12/2008, -9/+11looks nice
- inactive, on 04/12/2008, -2/+4Made it about half way, got repetitive. Don't get me wrong, the graphics are nice but the game play is lacking the fun factor.
- selfdisplaced, on 04/13/2008, -0/+2(((((woosh)))))
- rheaume, on 04/12/2008, -2/+3No, it took him 14 months to cram all that stuff in there and he forgot or left out the AV outputs
- SLockhart, on 04/12/2008, -1/+2Wow, I thought my Inspiron 9400 was heavy. That thing looks like something out of the 80's, and not in a good way.
- thecrazyd, on 04/12/2008, -0/+1... You do realize that the same guy built a 360 laptop first. And you can see an Elite in his entertainment center. Dude is no fanboy. It was a joke.
- krasht, on 04/13/2008, -0/+1I use a bluetooth keyboard and mouse to browse the web on my TV with the PS3's Web browser.
- piwy, on 04/12/2008, -1/+2You can install linux (not sure about other OS's) quite easily on a ps3. Which i'm pretty sure is why they are used as cheap super computers.
- batTUrd, on 04/12/2008, -1/+2So why did he take the disc out twice?
- theblindsniper, on 04/13/2008, -0/+1That looks awesome. Not really portable (16 pounds??! Yikes...) but I guess if you travel a lot and need your PS3 fix, this might be the solution for you.
If it's under $1000, i'd probably consider getting one along with adding everyones favorite software with a penguin as a mascot. - JudgeMonkey, on 04/13/2008, -0/+1Who cares if he said if, it was just a lame fanboy comment anyway.
- nullx42, on 04/12/2008, -3/+4STFU
- grantmoore3d, on 04/14/2008, -0/+1He didn't really show the "laptop" part of it... just a quick video of it running linux would have made it much better.
- proghead, on 04/14/2008, -0/+1OMG who heard the Wilhelm yell?
- JudgeMonkey, on 04/13/2008, -0/+1Yeah, I thought it was kind of dumb too, but then I saw the one hooked up in the back. Also, it's just a shell he pushed off. Sheesh, it's not that big of a deal even if he did. There are plenty of worse things to get so worked up about.
- toonworld, on 04/16/2008, -0/+1you'd buy a Dell? Please turn in your geek card now
