- smiley2billion, on 10/12/2007, -1/+20Rockstar Table Tennis can be found for $19.99 at some places already. I need Dead Rising to go Platinum.
- rivithed, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10Yeah, Best Buy does have Table Tennis and The Outfit for $19.99. Microsoft should have a "Gold Lineup" of titles for $19.99. Maybe The Outfit didn't sell as much.
- chris4404, on 10/12/2007, -4/+12I wish they'd come out at $19.99. Think of the marketing Microsoft could use. "Why spend $60 for a single PS3 game when you can get three great titles on Xbox 360!"
- Ins0mn1ac, on 10/12/2007, -5/+13No sense in waiting for it to go platinum. You're depriving yourself of zombie awesome-ness. Suck it up and you could be lopping of limbs with gardening tools in less than an hour.
....so worth the extra cash. - SomeManbeapig, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Top Spin is the kind of game that isnt even worth it for $20. If you really like tennis wait for virtua tennis 3
- 2000, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Yeah... I bought Table tennis for $20 and Fight Night Round 3 for $30 from Best Buy a week and a half ago.
Also, I just checked and Top Spin 2 will, in fact, be $20 and not $30 at Best Buy. - MewTwo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4The platinum hits cover art looks like *****.
- TimmyGUNZ, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I've had Fight Night Round 3 platinum edition for 2 weeks now. $29.99 brand new at Game Stop.
- dumpling, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3yep, i just picked up GRAW for 29.99 yesterday actually.
- TimmyGUNZ, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I'm waiting for Marvel Ultimate Alliance to go Platinum (or at least down in used prices.) From what I've played of the game, it seems fun, but not more than $30 fun.
- mxpx5678, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4I Second that, (thanks to 1773nium for posting) I hate how websense blocks everything!!
- TimmyGUNZ, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Yeah, but my point is that I bought the "Platinum Hits Edition" of Fight Night. This article is making it appear as if it's not already out there.
- thegator25, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Websense is killing me. Every week I can read less and less and spend more time reading through these responses looking for repostings of article text.
Thanks to 1773nium and others like yourself. - SteamyV, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2For you folks in the Midwest USA, the grocery chain Biggs is phasing out their gaming section. I picked up Prey and Fight Night Round 3 for $15 each. When I was there last, remaining XBOX and PSP games were 75% off, XBOX360, Nintendo DS and PS2 were 50% off. Good deals if you kind still find them.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I just realized that this site already links to Amazon anyway, and each of those is IN STOCK for $30. March? Who cares about March? Buy these today.
- dingmah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Bought my Top Spin 2 after Christmas for $19.99 Canadian, and still is $19.99.
- theace13, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I bought Fight NIght Round 3 Platinum edition 2-3 weeks ago at bestbuy...
- fletcher008, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2top spin 2 is a short game with a pretty low learning curve, but its a good tennis game while waiting for virtua tennis 3. with this game now being $20, its worth picking up if you want some tennis action for the 360.
- sketchstudios, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2this is true, i just got fight night at best buy for 29 bux it was a great deal
- feverjunk, on 10/12/2007, -5/+6Can someone post it here for all of us that are blocked. Damn Websense! Thanks
- webpoet73, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Dammit! I wanted Dead Rising to be on that list! Amazon still has it for 53.99 and most other stores have it for 59.99... I am waiting on a price drop to get it. Dammit. Dammit. I'll be okay, I swear....
- MackPrime, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2what will the AU$ cost be ?
- swoosh_bnd, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Yeah that's true, so instead of some of these games being reduced with age, they are getting more expensive. At least we still have ebay.
- Nodren, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2cheaper doesnt necessarily mean more sales. I've seen in a different market, where price was a complaint for the cost of the said item, one company decided to drop the average price from $20 down to $2... end result, they saw a massive drop in sales(purchases and full dollar amount) their product no longer had any value to it.
- ShivaOritiner, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2By the time I actually get a 360, most of titles I'll want will be platinum hits. Swank!
- Boofster, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2I'm waiting for Saint's Row.
Stupid DIGG keeps logging me out. WTF?! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2Umm, not to rain on Microsoft's parade or anything, but many of these older Xbox 360 games have been selling for $30 on Amazon for months.
For example, here's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter for $29.99, same as what this website lists it for:
http://www.amazon.com/Clancys-Ghost-Recon-Advanced-Warfighter/dp/B000A0EFJW/sr=8-1/qid=1172182229
Honestly, guys, there's no reason to wait for these "official" price drops when many large online retailers already sell them at that lowered price. You just need to look around more. - NeoCortex, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1"I wish they'd come out at $19.99. Think of the marketing Microsoft could use. "Why spend $60 for a single PS3 game when you can get three great titles on Xbox 360!"
Better yet: Why pay $600 for a single PS3 when you could get a couple of 360's! - josegutz, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1Now that's a weener...
- Shakermaker, on 10/12/2007, -12/+2@ Nobi-Wan
Did you even READ his post? He's saying if ALL Xbox 360 games were $20, they'd win the console wars. - Nobi-Wan, on 10/12/2007, -14/+4Because then Sony would shoot back with something about Xbox 360 titles also being $60.
