Cool, so it'll be playable as early as 2010. - mrloco, on 06/26/2008, -1/+91I just hope we wont have to unload 3 clips to kill one mutant.
That was ***** annoying.
In fact, i hope there's no mutants. - Uroboric, on 06/26/2008, -4/+83I love the completely unnecessary and forced swearing.
- tacroy, on 06/26/2008, -1/+74Dude....you ate his cookie. NOT COOL.
- mrinsanity, on 06/26/2008, -11/+81but will it play crysis!?

"...enemies will include human mercenaries, but sci-fi creatures such as the mutants from Far Cry will not be featured."
And I'm glad, because both Far Cry and Crisis got kinda lame once mutants and dragons and aliens started flying around. - SockMonkeh, on 06/26/2008, -4/+63I'm looking forward to this game.
- olddirtycr, on 06/26/2008, -0/+59Anyone else find it funny when the audience cheers?
"A HOMING rocket launcher"
*WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO* - LiamIsOnFire, on 06/26/2008, -3/+61That weapon jamming seems like it would get annoying. Past gaming experiences have taught me that its very frustrating when something is left to luck.
- leerayIG88, on 06/26/2008, -3/+60om nom nom nom
- hydratedsquash, on 06/26/2008, -6/+59I watched that whole video.
- inactive, on 06/26/2008, -3/+53Why does the guy sound likes he's shouting the whole time?
- mrelusive, on 06/26/2008, -1/+29I like the Vader NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO when the game crashes around 7 minutes in.
- jp12380, on 06/26/2008, -0/+27Because he can't hear him self and when you can't hear yourself you talk louder.
He even mentioned that he can't hear himself while he was talking. - BlackKnight6, on 06/26/2008, -0/+27This isn't made by Crytek. Crytek doesn't actually own the Farcry name. Ubisoft Montreal is the developer here.
- cw1242, on 06/26/2008, -1/+26STALKER used weapon degredation and the status of your gun reflected how accurate/reliable the gun was. I like the realism of a gun jamming in a game because it makes you constantly monitor your equipment like you would in real life.
- MRintheKeys, on 06/26/2008, -4/+28Yeah because you know, the aliens in Crysis scream realism.
- MalDON, on 06/26/2008, -7/+30Is it me, or did the graphics take a step back from Crysis? Kinda hard to tell though. I can't say I was too impressed.
- inactive, on 06/26/2008, -0/+20Machete FTW!
- FUR10N, on 06/26/2008, -3/+23that's because this one was made for console
- SevenTwo, on 06/26/2008, -0/+18Gametrailers Link:
http://www.gametrailers.com/player/usermovies/2342 ... - MexAzn24, on 06/26/2008, -1/+19Way to quote all that, I wouldn't do the time or effort to do that. Thanks
- heresy_fnord, on 06/26/2008, -2/+18Depends on how you look at it.
They'll release it Q2 2009 and it'll be patched once in Q4 2009 and then maybe a second time in 2010 and then it will be playable.
Playable meaning about 80% of the people can play it 75% of the time... - rg8670bx, on 06/26/2008, -0/+15Crytek did not develop this game.
- inactive, on 06/26/2008, -0/+15Blades also get dull in the game, requiring resharpening.
- 0rthogonal, on 06/26/2008, -0/+15That's because Crysis was developed by Crytek on a new engine, the original developers of Far Cry.
The Far Cry franchise was bought by Ubisoft and Far Cry 2 is being developed by them on a different engine.
They are not the same company making these 2 games. - vawksel, on 06/26/2008, -2/+17I'm looking backwards to it.
- zosoIV, on 06/26/2008, -6/+19Wow...a new FPS.
- Drazzim12, on 06/26/2008, -0/+135:24- "It's an open world; you do the ***** you want, so that's your choice"
- m4dp1x3l, on 06/26/2008, -1/+14Will be a promotion for the nVidia GTX 300 series cards coming out in the fall... lol
- colasrtney, on 06/26/2008, -0/+13I was just telling my wife how my FPS could use more pixel perfect vegetation destruction.
- BugMeNot2, on 06/26/2008, -0/+12Crytek developed Far Cry, Ubisoft published it. On January 23, 2006, Crytek announced Crysis. Two months later, on March 30, 2006, Ubisoft announced that they had acquired all rights to the Far Cry license. Far Cry 2 was announced by Ubisoft a couple months before Crysis' release.
- bjs3171, on 06/26/2008, -0/+12the physics look awesome. it's hard to tell graphics in a low res video, though.
- adamchristopher, on 06/26/2008, -2/+14I am writing a comment.
- csimpkins, on 06/26/2008, -0/+11"You do what the ***** you want... it's your choice." lol
- evilregis, on 06/26/2008, -0/+11They have it for Digg comments, too.
- Melodik, on 06/26/2008, -2/+11***** pigeons.
- inactive, on 06/26/2008, -0/+9He wasn't dugg down? He has zero negative diggs.
- tomazkovacic, on 06/26/2008, -1/+10*tears of joy*
- amenic, on 06/26/2008, -4/+13Oh noes - it's coming out for PC I can hear the crying about PC sales already.
- inactive, on 06/26/2008, -0/+9That's really what I don't get about it being "Far Cry 2".
No tropical island, no mutants, no monkey experiments, no Jack Carver - why is it even under the Far Cry license? I'm not saying that those were good things about the original, but it seems like if they wanted to make a Far Cry 2 it'd have more of those. - noerrorsfound, on 06/26/2008, -1/+9Except the weapons degraded much too fast, the weapons jammed far too often, and you "unjammed" them by reloading.
- leerayIG88, on 06/26/2008, -1/+9shoot enemies from a distance, FTW.
- Dirceu, on 06/26/2008, -4/+12A crash in the middle of demonstration - the Microsoft way.
Anyway, the game looks very nice but not that impressive. - silver26, on 06/26/2008, -0/+7I think it looks good.
- Dustmuffins, on 06/26/2008, -3/+10I disagree on Crysis, The aliens were actually pretty interesting to fight, and they weren't around too long.
- jezsik, on 06/26/2008, -0/+7That's unfortunate. For my money, the Far Cry engine was close to perfect for today's machines.
