- MOJIRA, on 05/17/2008, -0/+14That's a cool video. Reminds me of that part with all the cars spilling out of the warehouse in 2Fast 2Furious.... god that movie sucked..
Anyway, forget Sunrise - I mean it's cool and all, but get Trackmania nations. It's FREE and you can play online versus hundreds of countries - I love any sport that the world participates in...
http://www.trackmanianations.com Really cool stuff. First game that reminded me of MEGARACE. Anyone? Megarace? No? - neoncricket, on 10/12/2007, -3/+17And the soundtrack couldn't be more perfect. This is excellent.

- DarkSideX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10The 3K project: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-YxQ398Kjw
And there is currently a project for Trackmania Nations that already has 1900 replays...

Join in and send your replays !! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9MegaRace was an awesome, awesome game. Even a decade later, no game can come close to it in terms of the quality of the cutscenes.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6aBz9KjREdM - ekkalvia, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10It might be a stretch, but I think its a cool visualization of a "multiverse".

- leonwehttam, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Perfect Music. Perfect Editing. Perfect Video.
I dont even play racers, but this video makes me wish i did :D - spyrochaete, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Trackmania Nations is an absolutely amazing game and it's 100% free. It's intended to be a big thank you and a hug to everyone who's bought a Trackmania game in the past, and to those who will buy their soon upcoming game.

It's friggin heartbreaking that they couple this thank you with the huge insult of Starforce. I recently posted on their message board saying that theirs would be the ultimate arcade racing games if not for Starforce, and they locked my post right away! Thus, I will never ever touch a Nadeo game.
Please post on http://www.tm-forum.com and express your disappointment with their decision to call their fans criminals by infecting their games with Starforce! - eggo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Hmm, I was tapping my foot the whole time. But then again, I'm not an elitist snob.
- cyanid3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Yep, great game.
It was one of the official games for ESWC and me and my friends enjoyed playing it for days on end, online. And I might add that I also represented my city in the national finals and reached the Semi finals stage.
Trackmania Nations FTW! :D - sjk8990, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6"Flower" by Moby. It said it in the credits at the beginning.
- Halfang, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5It's default for the game.Is an "alone" racing game. That means you vs time, not you vs hundred of other cars that will destroy your time because they have collided into you.
- usp8riot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I don't know why this game doesn't get as much attention. It seems the console racers get all the glory. And might I add, the full free Trackmania Nations game is great also. No pretty scenery as in Sunrise, just race circuits, but awesome gameplay.
- edzieba, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I'm curious: Is there a method of running the track replays at a fixed framerate (like in HL2), or was it just run at a ridiculously slow framerate and manually edited to a smooth video?
- distrbnce, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I agree.
I saw a review for it on X-Play or something a long time ago, and it didn't get the credit it deserved, because they only talked about single player.
Online is the heart of that game, and it's incredibly addictive.
Constant user-created maps that load almost instantly, racing against a dozen other people for the best times. I spent many a night playing just the demo for hours and hours. - TonySki, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6that was just... amazing. I mean, wow...
I know I'd love to do this but, damn, I don't think my brand new comp could handle 1000 cars all at once. that was just amazing - Agret, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6"Anyway, forget Sunrise - I mean it's cool and all, but get Trackmania nations. It's FREE "
It's also got Starforce, until that's gone the game is never free... - atomictoast, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Anyone have a link to version of this video which doesn't require Flash 8?
Thanks. - JamesWilson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Hell yea lemmings was the *****.
- spyrochaete, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4You can even choose to hide one or all or none of the opponent vehicles if you find it distracting. You still compete against everyone else and see your times at the end, but it's a handy visual cue to see how your rivals barely edge you out around tight corners.
- netburnr, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Click the "Rip" icon below it.
didn't work on my site though because I block javascripts in my forum. - xenonflash, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5For everybody's information, Trackmania Nations does NOT install Starforce. It updates your starforce if you already have that crap on your computer, but if your PC has no Starforce, it does not install it. I tesed this for myself. I installed Trackmania Sunrise, which installs Starforce, then installed Nations. I got a Starforce Message after installing Nations. Then ,I uninstalled both games and removed StarForce. I installed just TMN and I did not get the StarForce message that I did before. BTW, this game is awesome!
- distrbnce, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5***** beautiful video.
Man, I miss the demo of that game. Great arcade racer. Desperately want to play it now. - sandig, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Here's the FLV file, if it helps:

Must have been a lot of work - retral, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I saw this video earlier last night and didn't know it was trackmania, I thought it was some sort of video demonstration of a game.. heh.. Very cool.
- RubberbandLN6, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Wow, that was truly amazing. Beautifully edited and it must of taken a whole lot of patience and play time to play that same track 1000 times. These are the kind of videos that sell games.
- gommle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3StarForce with TMN install randomly. Maybe once, maybe the next time, or not at all.
- JeyNyce, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Too cool, i just may start playing this game again
- EmileVictor, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Anyone know how to download or put it on your site?
- Bitgod, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Pity, I'd try it out if it wasn't for the starforce protection.
- osbjmg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3HAHAHH! I remember megarace - the announcer was a dick!
- kohno214, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Rush hour in Atlanta.
- ekso, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Expressionist hypermorden art, I tell you.
- spyrochaete, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Lemmings for SNES was the best one! 2 player simultaneous!!
- NanoStuff, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Now that's a motorsport I'd buy a ticket for.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I just installed TrackMania Nations. It's pretty nice. The track designs are all wildly different, with loops and other stuff, but they're mostly not very playable. Average users make the tracks, not any professional level designers, and it shows. You'll be forced to race on the same track as much as 10 times until you figure out a way not to go off track, which causes a restart. Also, everything takes place in the same stadium environment, making things look kind of bland, so you might get tired of it after a while.
Other than the whole game feeling like a demo/shareware, it's not bad at all. Some of the tracks are kind of nice, I guess. The physics are good, the graphics are decent. Definitely better than any of the open source racing games out there. Plus, it's all about online play, which always adds replay value. - Johnny1337h4x0r, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1oh man, did I love megarace. I played it 2 years ago all the time in my bed with an old laptop until 5 in the morning with school starting at 7:40. That game had some of the best cutscenes and the host was one of the most interesting game actors ever. They should do a remake of it.
- darkzealot89, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1song is the most annoying thing ever. Just get rid of the rambling lyrics and leave the instrumental, then you will have a good song.
- foolfromhell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Saw this on CTRL+ALT+DEL Comic. It was awesome!
- stevetures, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Its nearly worth the spyware.
oh yeah... thats a sweet farkin video
-Steve - robertgilbert86, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Thats trackmania for you, go get tm nations, you'll like it and see why it's great
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Johnny1337h4x0r:
They made two sequels, all featuring the same actor in the cutscenes. MegaRace 3 came out just five years ago. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That's the best video I've seen in ages, and then some.
It just kills me that they put Starforce in it. I know at least five people (plus me) who didn't buy it due to this. I wonder how much pirating they _really_ saved?
I'd have bought one for myself and a couple for gifts, but there's no way I'd knowingly give someone a Starforce-ridden disc. - cryonix, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2hey thanks for the info, good to know. that must mean some other game installed it...
- jerryb123, on 07/01/2009, -2/+3Anyone know what song is playing in the video?
