I cant be the only one who sees the glaring humor in this... - SchrodingersCar, on 09/23/2008, -0/+7The term "Sexualized" in this instance is being used not referring to someone having "sexual" characteristics... but instead meaning a character being reduced to purely sexual elements for the sole purpose of gratification. For example, if you were taking on a bunch of ninjas people with swords, why would you wear something that exposes 90% of your flesh?
Don't get me wrong, I sure like to look at boobs. And sexual elements can add tension and excitement to many stories. But the gaming industry seems to be heading full tilt down the road towards empty shells with ***** and guns. It's not about the characters having "sexuality" anymore - they have become poseable sex toys for the adolescent boys that play with them. It's a trend that gets degrading to women, as well as insulting to the audience.
