- circa1015, on 11/10/2009, -0/+49Where's 10-1?
- densetsu23, on 11/10/2009, -0/+34Inaccurate title. This is only the top 20 - 11. Numbers 1 - 10 haven't been listed yet.
- Mikey129, on 11/10/2009, -0/+22Half of the article is missing, The layout is *****.
- asgardshill, on 11/10/2009, -0/+13Good question. I see no way to select them, just a number bar for the comments.
- sexualwasabi, on 11/09/2009, -1/+10The Sims is like the WoW for adults right?
- mattmacneil, on 11/10/2009, -1/+10Oh come on, Ocarina of Time should be in the top 5 at least.
- LBUCHA, on 11/09/2009, -1/+7Huge Sims fan - but that muzak is enough to send me to the loony bin
- numberneal, on 11/09/2009, -0/+6originality
- Vipersfate, on 11/10/2009, -0/+6I better be seeing me some Metroid Prime in there somewhere. That music was so good, I got the soundtrack :D Too bad I can find the ***** 1-10
- jgrandi, on 11/09/2009, -0/+6i remember liking SF's soundrtack. hehe, we've come a longggg way!
- chadder, on 11/10/2009, -0/+6Hell March conquers all.
There is no other single piece of gaming music nearly as awesome. Original Red Alert is the win. - MCA2142, on 11/10/2009, -1/+6I say Neverhood had the best game soundtrack of all time.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4aDh_O3FQWY - tsahsiewfan, on 11/10/2009, -0/+5This was a waste of time.
- Coufu, on 11/10/2009, -0/+4Nobuo Uematsu
- Jakesterama, on 11/10/2009, -0/+4When I saw the title I thought, "I wonder what will be number 1, LoZ, Halo or Chrono?" Much to my surprise they have already used up all 3, and don't even have the top ten posted....
- Aeroboy, on 11/10/2009, -0/+4The best theme music ever is the main theme from Battlefield 1942, closely followed by the entire musical score from 'Outlaws'.
- bucsfan87, on 11/10/2009, -0/+4Buried for only having 20-11.
- TrainByte, on 11/10/2009, -0/+3<3 Earthbound
- MMusick, on 11/09/2009, -0/+3The N2O soundtrack might not be original but I always thought The Crystal Method was perfect for it.
- copypastry, on 11/10/2009, -0/+3I am going to be pretty disappoint if Homeworld isn't in the final top 10. The Homeworld soundtrack is ***** amazing ambient music.
- joshmoney, on 11/10/2009, -1/+3I'm seriously hoping they have some Final Fantasy in that 1-10. Nobuo Uematsu is like the John Williams of video game composition and some of his themes, especially from FFIII (snes) have got to be some of the most emotive, memorable video game compositions ever created. They stand alone as brilliant works of art and the live orchestral arrangements of his music are worth listening on their own merit.
/as a small plug, check out my song, "The Epic Skeptic" if you have the new Tiger Woods title. ; ) - Penalt, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2I wonder if HomeWorld will make the top 10.
- Valdek, on 11/10/2009, -3/+5Final Fantasy 7 better be in the Top 10 somewhere.
Sending A Dream Into the Universe (Cid's space theme), Those Chosen by the Planet (Sephiroth's theme), Valley of the Fallen Star (Cosmo Canyon theme), and of course One Winged Angel (Sephiroth fight). Hell, even the annoyingly cute Descendant of Shinobi (Yuffie's theme) is great. Also, I still get a little misty every time I hear the first heavy note of Aerith's theme, remembering when the white materia fell from her and hit the platform going down.
The soundtrack is so good that it's been remastered and remade a few times with the latter releases of the game, and with piano versions, and new versions in Advent Children, as well. - hoopee, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2If Star Control 2 is missing this list is useless.
- DuneAdx, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2The NES Ducktales Moon theme is an 8 bit masterpiece.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPkhhLC1tf8 - PlasticHotDog, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2If Transport Tycoon doesn't make the top 10 list, then it's a bury for me. These lists always have the same games on them and they're usually NOT the best original soundtracks.
- ChaotikBlu, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2What a ***** site; can't even link properly.
- Auto, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2I always enjoyed Neverwinter Nights' sound track. I still hum those tunes regularly.
- CkMaverick, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2Ocarina of Time is way too low, and it better have a few of Guild Wars, Dungeon Siege, Lineage II, Ace Combat 6, Elder Scrolls Oblivion, the Battlefield Series, and Metal Gear Solid to come.
- l31101, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2Chrono Trigger for #1
- sierrabravo, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2i've noticed this alot lately, people putting incorrect titles because that's what the website says and they didn't read the webpage
- copypastry, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2Street Fighter 2.
Guile stage, Ken stage, Ryu stage. Honorable mention: Cammy stage. - maja742, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2bf1942 is epic
- bubbachuck, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2it used Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings as its main theme and in the trailer included with Half-Life. Also used in Platoon.
- Natetendo83, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2Missing half the article.
On a side note did anyone know Dragon Age is out? - Nowheredan, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2Homeworld.
- a117, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1I agree. For those who are audio learners: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tb-gI_pFog0
- HouseofEl, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1What a prick for trying to drum up traffic by holding off the final 10.
- DennisOhlson, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1Banjo Kazooie should be on the list somewhere. That music was brilliant and fit the game absolutely perfectly.
- Kenks, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1I wouldn't call that the Halo Main Theme. That piece is orchestral at the beginning.
- nmanguy, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1I hope that when they announce 10-1, they include TF2, Psychonauts, Beyond Good and Evil, and X3: Reunion
- bubbachuck, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1my 2 cents. One sample track from each game provided, but soundtracks stand out as a whole. I'll try to focus on less "mainstream" games.

If you want the original theme, you've got to go straight to the source -- the Truth and Reconciliation Suite from the first Halo:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7zAXcF9Txg&fmt ... - stack3r, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1layout of that page just damaged my eyes.
also, Starsiege tribes music owns most of that list.
zelda? lololol - ElCheLikesAudi, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1Legend of Dragoon since we all naming soundtrack we love.
- Atario, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1As of this writing, all the game images are Photobucket "bandwidth exceeded" images. Nice.
- Hecubus452, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1I love the Ocarina of Time soundtrack because it fits into one of the big themes of the entire game, how music can transform and improve the world. Look in that game and every character is dancing or singing, like music is what makes the world go round.
- Sparky9292, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1The original PC Game Homeworld had a wonderful soundtrack that really made the vast 3D space even much more so.
- Sparky9292, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1Yep, the original Red Alert I released in the late nineties had some awesome tracks. Hell March was great! The original Command & Conquer had good tracks as well.
