- FizixMan, on 10/12/2007, -3/+84Needs more homicidal "The Sims" acts.
Nothing like laughing maniacally while your Sim burns alive because he ***** up cooking pancakes of all things. - Lixie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+56Yeah, I wasn't expecting specific games (like Viva Pinata) as guilty pleasures of "gaming" either. I was expecting actions or things within gaming that would be considered guilty pleasures.
My guilty pleasure is collecting. I buy games I don't even play just to add to my collection, knowing full well disk rot will inevitably make most of them worthless.
Another guilty pleasure of mine is spending more time in the character creation mode than all the other modes combined. I'd guess 60% of my time playing Soul Calibur 3 was in the character creation setup. - JesperL, on 10/12/2007, -0/+51My guiltiest pleasure is in the game SWAT 4.
See, you can get the enemies to surrender in this game, and then you'll be able to handcuff them. So I cuff them, and pull out my pistol, and shoot them square in the back of the head, and watch them fall all twitchy like.
It's awesome. - Seifey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+35"We've been hit this ball for over 20 years now. Please let us die!"
And they still haven't learned proper grammar! - dedkittens, on 10/12/2007, -1/+32pokemon, emulators... must... resist...
- eleventh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+29+1 just for not making me click through 45 pages of a "top 10 list"
- Brandondork, on 10/12/2007, -2/+31You say guilty pleasures and I'm thinking sure who hasn't played some Halo totally stoned?
- sloof70, on 10/12/2007, -3/+27Those aren't guilty pleasures. That would assume you actually hate yourself for enjoying it, and you should feel guilty as such.
Killing prostitutes is a guilty pleasure. - Daniel591992, on 10/12/2007, -1/+24You use the Yahoo toolbar, IE7, and play WoW.
Get away! - Shuk, on 10/12/2007, -3/+24He's right about World of Warcraft! Theoretically, one should not enjoy that game... but it's so addicting! I'm proud to say that I've been off the stuff for over a year and have made a successful recovery!
- bazuden, on 10/12/2007, -4/+24My girlfriend mocks me whenever I play Excite Bike on the Wii, which is almost every time I turn the damn thing on.
Have to get my fix! - chris9902, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18Retro games are great. I don't feel guilty for playing them.
- noamchomskeet, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18They forgot Chainsawing someone in Gears of War, I could that all day long.
- turrican, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16If you were locked in a room and forced to be a tennis racket for 20 years, I bet yours wouldn't be much better!
- Daedalus275, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16I have a confession Digg.
I have spent many an hour playing Harvest Moon.
v_v - crashflow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15yeah, made a haunted house by killing off an entire family of sims, each in his own unique way. Any new owner usually dies with a few days, feeding the vicious cycle. Nothing like three scares in a row to have Grim Reaper phoning in another one.
- borninda818, on 10/12/2007, -9/+23you could pleasure yourself to WoW too. I made a nightelf chick as my jack...um...dancing character.
- DBiz, on 10/12/2007, -4/+17Viva Pinata a guilty pleasure?
People love seeing me sacrifice my Whirlms to the Sparrowmints for the greater good...
Damn, maybe D'Toid is right. - shlemielo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12My friend and I built a maze for our Sims. First we starved them, then we put a turkey and a toilet at the end of the maze and they raced. Sims are surprisingly good at maneuvering through mazes, believe it or not.
- TheChance, on 10/12/2007, -3/+15excitebike ftw!
great game or the Greatest game? - mp7224, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10I sneak away regularly to play DDR at the local arcade. It is very much a guilty pleasure, I always feel out of place.....not being a 13 year old who shops at Hot Topic. True story
- bjyeaz2, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12Pokemon Snap on N64 a definite guilty pleasure for me. It's all I played for a semester at school. No better high than catching a perfect picture of Pikachu for that 5k bonus!
- cyx7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9BMX XXX
Rumble Roses the first & XX
Leisure Suit Larry IV
XD - Bajeda, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9I don't think I've played Halo sober!
- emailingRob, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Star Trek games online (Elite Force, Bridge Commander). At least I play with someone I didn't meet online...
- Fraff5, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8IE7? WTF???
- Akaji, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8What, no Barbie's Playhouse? I love that game!
Err... >.> - theorangeaxem, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9The person who posted that list was from Canada. I'm pretty sure their costs were for Canadian currency not USD.
- Gir53457, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Jigglypuff trio in the cavern. I spent so long trying to get the perfect shot so I could go to blockbuster and print the stickers.
- bIuebonics, on 10/12/2007, -3/+10meh... i never feel guilty about playing anything. if someone really gets a kick out of the last 5 hours i spent playing "little nemo the dream master" then meh... i don't really care..
- Ransomowris, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1115. Teabagging.
- NatieB, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7You forgot the other tab has myspace open. Wow man, you lose.
- Wootery, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Quiet, Desu.
- Maluka, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Oddword: Munch's Odyssee. Played it so many times I began talking like Abe. "How ya doin?" I feel no guilt at playing it over and over. Sadly a messed up rotator cuff has curtailed any gaming for me. Wahhhh.
- badgermonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6"What are you playing?"
"Oh, Animal Crossing. You have to catch fish and insects, pick fruit, run errands, you know."
"Er...what's the point of that?"
"So I can pay off my mortgage!" Cue non-gamer looking at me like I am insane, given that this conversation took place on my break at work, where I do jobs and complete tasks to, well, pay off my mortgage. But when it's in cartoon form it's FUN! - Akaji, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Obligatory - http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=122
- firedrillduckie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Print the Pokemon Snap pictures? How did I not know of this?
My Thunder Pikachu on a Stump would have been all over my wall. - mhensley1288, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7@ JesperL
you might be a sociopath...and i think thats ***** awesome - LegendarySock, on 10/12/2007, -5/+10You have a wii AND a girlfriend?????
- foresworn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5It's true, naked gnome parties are my guilty pleasure...
- eagleswings, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I'd managed to forget about that game until you just mentioned it..... must.... resist.... temp.... - stuff it, I'm gonna play now.
- WebCester, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Isn't WoW (the app itself) free now? I think you can download it legally from Blizzard. Thankfully I never got into it, I'm busy enough keeping myself from playing Warcraft III all the time.
- SeventhBreath, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5maybe my campus is behind the times but where is desktop tower defense? I passionately hate my undeniable addiction to that damn game.
- chogie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5http://thepiratebay.org/tor/3674727/Gameboy_Advance_Emulator_and_Pokemon_ROMs
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4hey, Little Nemo was awesome
- Akaji, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4@webcester
I would think that you'd still have to pay for a CD-Key... - nihility, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4After playing Emerald on my GBA emulator all month I caved and bought Diamond, and I hate myself. But I need the next gym badge, so...
- Edrick, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6You're missing out.
