- Rickler, on 10/12/2007, -2/+24Actually it's 625.54MB
- DBiz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12GRAW 1's multiplayer was ruined by two things:
-Inability to change look speed. I don't want to feel like my sensitivity is stuck on 3 vertical, and 3 horizontal.
-Maps didn't adjust with the number of players. Nothing like running around the HUGE city map with 3 Vs. 3 only to have the match end 2-1.
Fix these, and GRAW 2 will be a masterpiece. - unloud, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13There are only two acronyms in that string.
- diggapleeeze, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9@Wonotch
You need to get out more.
GRAW and Vegas were tight. - robman8023, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Awesome, this made my night.
- chuck2006, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8I can't speak for everyone else but in the first GRAW I had issues finding multiplayer games that had not yet started. I found myself waiting 15 minutes + in game rooms that had already begun to get in on the map rotation. It would be nice to see some improved usability in the multiplayer console.
- knodi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Wow the demo is really good its a lot more instances and faster then GRAW 1.
- AmirRaminfar, on 10/12/2007, -5/+10Actually it's 625MB
- Konrad9, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Because you get what you pay for, and in this case, it's content.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Other problems with GRAW include spawn camping, UI loading times (present in every damn Ubisoft Tom Clancy game. Why can't they just make SP/MP run on the same engine like Halo?), and serious dropouts.
- DesolataX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4One Word: Sweet.
- estvir, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I can.
Okay, I lied, I can't. :( /runs off to replay GRAW2 demo - synaesthesia, on 10/12/2007, -6/+101% complete....
Dear Xbox Live,
Please implement bit torrent technology; kthnxbye
synaesthesia - prockcore, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5actually, just one.. XBL is an initialism. Unless you can somehow pronounce xbl.
- kid_kansas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I played the first GRAW and though it was alright, but I really like this GRAW 2 landscape.
- BlackKnight6, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Silver gets it, just later than gold.
- UPSLynx, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4OwdenBowden, you sir, are an idiot.
console gaming isn't the platform of the future, it's got a long way to go before it's exclusive. You say that people don't want to keep upgrading parts... hardcore PC gaming is for hobbyists, and YES, we do want to keep doing that. And because of these very upgrading abilities, PC will always be one step ahead of consoles in terms of graphics, multiplayer functionalities, physics processing, and other such advances. Go buy a 360 plug it in and play... and after 4 more years, the industry moves on and your stuck with a machine that gets no new games. You have to upgrade with the industry. You're doing the exact same thing.
Sigh, another 6 months, and another Tom Clancy game. GRAW was good, but good lord let it rest for a little bit before dishing out another sequel. - Lazrius, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6It's okay, I played GRAW and it seems very similar. I'm more happy with the Crackdown Demo.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6if u weren't into the first one, don't be excited about this one either.
- knodi, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Like all other multiplatfrom games they will run better then smother on the Xbox 360 then PS3.
- zdiddy85, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Is it just me or do the explosions look f'in amazing?
- OwdenBowden, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Are you ***** me.... Amazing. Digg for a great game.
- Siraris, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4The demo is 624 megs, which means it's roughly 600 megs, not 500. 100 megs is a big difference, especially to people who don't download at 1 meg a second.
- teqonix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I loved the first one, but my 360's in the shop down in Texas- how's this one compare?
- axiomata, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Hoping someone could help me. I started the download of the GRAW demo, it was going slowly so I left my console on and did other stuff. I came back and my 'Active Downloads' section was empty so I figured it finished. I went into my 'Demos' section and GRAW was not there. I went to my 'Memory' usage listing area and under the demos section, at the top there was a exclamation point warning symbol and the message "Title content progress cache" and a filesize of 626MB (the size of the GRAW demo I think). But I can't access it. I even deleted it and then downloaded it again and the exact same thing happened. Anyone know what might be up?
Thanks - seansshack, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2The multi-player of 1 was better than the single player game. The weapons in the single player game just felt like pee shooters (perhaps maybe too realistic).
GRAW 2 looks great in the previews. My good there are so many past and upcoming games for the 360!!! - supermanred, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1COOL improvements to the game including:
HOLD RB to control the drones (both air based hover drones and land based MULEs) as well as HOLD RB to see from your teammates eyes and give orders. Great!!! Allows for control of team when they are out of visual range.
COMPASS on screen. Now you can tell if you are going N or S without having to hit BACK button
slightly improved graphics.
Quicker reload times and more real-to-life grenade deployment times. (used to take quite a few seconds to go to grenade, when in real life you just grab it off your belt or vest and chuck the *****) - estvir, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4.. and lag, it wasn't too good for us Australians (Well, at least me and those I know) while GoW, Halo2 and others are fine on Live.
gardnett, if they fix the little annoying things in GRAW it's worth it and the things they've added/changed (How you can control the drone, Mule, medic, cover, etc) are quite good. - BabyWookie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@dandonia:
Do you not get the whole concept of demos, movie trailers and other product ads? Their purpose is to sell you the product. You should NOT pay anything for adverts. That's retarded. Geez... - BabyWookie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I've had Gold before. I bought a one month card. I think I played like once or twice during the whole month. Sure it's cheap, but it would still be a waste for me. I'm more into the single player experience. Plus, I can stand being called a "*****" or "*****" by some barely-pubescent morons only so much. I do have friends and family overseas, but none with an XBox 360. You have to agree that it's very lame of MS to restrict demos to Gold members though. I guess if I really wanted to get this demo, I could use one of the few 48 hour trial cards that came with the games I bought or just make another MS Passport account and get a one month trial.
- gwolf, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Better Weapon options, graphics, frame rate seems better. Little refinements. Looks promising
- unloud, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1At first I couldn't find it. I didn't know the title would be abreviated to "GRAW 2"
- Gohan5052, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1My download is going pretty fast
- axiomata, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2It says I have 6.9GB free.
- mrpizza, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1maybe your hard drive is full?
- dandonia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Ok you do know there are achievements online and so you know the online games is far better than single player, Get yourself on Nowhere with 16 people split into two teams. Its amazing.
If the host doesn't time everyone out that is - junskey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2why cant they make it available to us silver members =[
- dreadful, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1this story got here late
- dandonia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I had this problem when I first got live, it let me download certain demos but it would hide others I never got to play some of them
sorry didnt really help just sympathized - dandonia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1no offense but why should they straight away. Gold members pay money, so they should get access to demo's first and cool perks. People who cant afford or refuse to pay should have to wait a little. Not forever though
- dandonia, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2oh yeah its real "Lame of MS to restrict demo's to Gold members" after all they only paid for their service. More to the point its hardly a restricted thing, it will be available for free in a week or two for silver members. Whats lame is that us in the UK pay more for Gold and get less features "movies TV etc" but then thats all coming sooner or later.
- halik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I don't think that's the case, I've got residential OC (9megs up and down) and the games still take a good amount of time to download.
- taxman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Silver will get it ..... a week from now
- halik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1woohoo, I love when you guys post XBOX 360 demo stuff, now I've got something to look fwd to when i get home tonight.
- phoque, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Mine too... 25% in like a few minutes.
- johnstez, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Personally I loved the first game. It did however feel like 2 completely different games (single & multiplayer). Downloading now.
- BabyWookie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Why the ***** do you need an XBL Gold (paid) account in order to download demos? Aren't demos supposed to be ads for the full game? That's ridiculous. FU MS. I'm not big on online games and thus, I don't have a Gold account, but I do like to try out demos. By the way, is this demo multi-player only? MajorNelson does not mention anything about that.
- andnever, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1its not multi-player
- xcrypt, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1the demo was pretty good, but unfortunately it only lasted 7 minute as I got to the end of the stage real quick, After all I'm a new 360 owner and one of my first purchases was GRAW. I loved the single player and have yet to touch online play as I'm still getting the achievements on SP.
[spoiler] I was getting into the heat of the battle with the chopper and all the guerrila fighters at the end. Nothing better than being shot at from different angles while hiding against a couple of barrels only to end with TO BE CONTINUED [spoiler] - alexandrabas, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 Demo for PC is now available for download!
