That game is awesome, and is the only thing I've played in weeks. I even know someone who bought a PS3 *just* to play LBP.

- FrankTheTank17, on 12/02/2008, -0/+11Valkyria Chronicles is one of those games that people shouldn't be waiting for. It has a little bit of everything in it, it's simply amazing.
Although in all honesty, I think SOCOM: Confrontation should be on the list. There were a lot of server issues when the game came out and the first major update which is supposed to fix a lot and add a lot might come out in a month. After they patch it up, I'm sure a lot of people will be playing it. Since I've had family members insist on getting a couple of them for Christmas since I'm relatively difficult to buy for, I may not get to play them until next year... I will at least have them though
- vaeric, on 12/02/2008, -0/+8I did the same thing. Had my 360 pretty much since launch and finally got a PS3 when LBP came out. It's a beautiful platformer. It's kinda nice having a blu-ray player now, too. I'm guessing that my play time will be split about 80-20 in favor of my 360 still because I'll be buying all my cross platform games on it instead of the PS3 for which I'll only buy exclusive games. And I'm just not a fan of the PS3's GUI or online setup. Maybe it'll grow on me over time though

Branch out a bit and you'll see that reviewers try to get people to play games like ICO and Okami because they're GOOD games, great in fact, yet they get little to no love from customers because the developers aren't big enough to be able to afford to make a good game AND come up with a marketing campaign like some of the blockbuster titles out there. Mirror's Edge was far from perfect but at least it presented a fresh idea that I think will be improved upon should a sequel come around.

Oh, and maybe Fable 2. Of course, by then, the Witcher and Dragon Age: Origins will be out for the 360 and I can play those instead.
