/Buried. - Visual77, on 11/18/2008, -1/+27As the article went on, I think he kept changing his definition of 'camp' into something that just confused me.

- inactive, on 11/18/2008, -2/+15Gamesradar is the new Cracked! a list of 7 spread through 4 pages
- IndigoMoss, on 11/18/2008, -0/+13Dugg for that video of Kefka. Holy *****, that guy did a really good job, and I really hate cosplay. Kudos crazy Kefka cosplay guy.

- ArchetypeRyan, on 11/18/2008, -0/+10Dugg for Sephiroth getting called a mama's boy (video of Kefka).
- sauron256, on 11/18/2008, -0/+10I am now going to bury any list over more than 2 or 3 pages. The 100-page gallery earlier today was the last straw.

1.Kefka - Final Fantasy 6 - mmittimm, on 11/18/2008, -1/+9What an overwhelmingly crowded website. Would it kill them to have one pixel of empty space?
- Aurabolt, on 11/18/2008, -1/+9Final Fantasy VI. Best game ever.
- TrIp13G, on 11/18/2008, -5/+13It's not a bad list. It's actually quite good and somewhat original.
- semperfidoordi, on 11/18/2008, -2/+9Buried for 4 pages.
Really, you REALLY can't fit it on one? - nerdherder, on 11/18/2008, -0/+7Notable also-ran
Effeminate to the point of borderline transvestitism with a penchant for needlessly theatrical speech, Final Fantasy IX's Kuja was a villain in the same flouncing renaissance-man mould as Cohen. Couple in the fact that the revelation of his own mortality caused him to throw a hissy fit which destroyed a whole world and spurred an attempt to wipe out all of life in general, and the two could have done a great deal of 'misunderstood' bitching together if they'd ever met.
I'm guessing a "Notable also-ran" is like a runner up. - t3hNinj4, on 11/18/2008, -0/+7A definition, Courtesy of Urban Dictionary's Circuitloss:
"Camp” n. or “Campy” adj. refers to intentionally exaggerated thematic or genre elements, especially in television and motion picture mediums. “Camp” style willfully over-emphasizes certain elements of the genre or theme, creating an almost self-satirical milieu. Some of the most popular examples include the James Bond films (exaggeration of espionage activities) and the original Batman series starring Adam West." - ElectroStep, on 11/18/2008, -1/+7Voldo
- OstrakonX, on 11/18/2008, -0/+6No Kuja from FF9? ***** fail.
- HappyGamer, on 11/18/2008, -2/+7And why seven? Do they have a thing for prime numbers?
- Unremarkable, on 11/18/2008, -0/+5Extra points if you can spread a list of 4 across 7 pages, though.
- iofthestorm, on 11/18/2008, -0/+5How about we just kill them, and ask questions later?
- rukeypoo, on 11/18/2008, -0/+5Camp has been used as an adjective for awhile folks. Get a grip.
See: Evil Dead. - KrazyMon2, on 11/18/2008, -0/+4Thank you now I don't have to look through 4 *****' pages for 7 names.
- Ph03N1X418, on 11/18/2008, -1/+5He might be campy; but Vega rocked
- kocurejd, on 11/18/2008, -0/+4To be fair, the majority of Cracked's lists are on no more than 1-2 pages.
- SwabTheDeck, on 11/18/2008, -0/+4The author is kind of stretching the limits of grammar. If you substitute the word "camp" for the more accurate "campy", the article almost makes sense. Basically, it just means exaggerated to the point of ridiculousness.
- ak4444, on 11/18/2008, -1/+5camp
Camp is an aesthetic in which something has appeal because of its bad taste or ironic value. When the term first appeared in 1909, it was used to refer to ostentatious, exaggerated, affected, theatrical, effeminate or homosexual behaviour.
Would it be that hard to put the list on one page? - OstrakonX, on 11/18/2008, -0/+4Kuja was campier than everyone else on that list combined.
- Takfam, on 11/18/2008, -1/+4For chrissakes would it have been so hard to add a "y" to the end of camp and spare us all of the "WTF" comments?
Buried for utter stupidity in headline writing. - mbraynard, on 11/18/2008, -4/+7Camp? Is that gamesradar or gayradar?
- markkram, on 11/18/2008, -0/+3thanks!
- shenanigoats, on 11/18/2008, -1/+4http://www9.georgetown.edu/faculty/irvinem/theory/ ...
- elarson, on 11/18/2008, -1/+4The author gives the impression that he just learned the meaning of camp over the weekend, and is really eager to share his knowledge with everyone. Except...
- RobotBuddha, on 11/18/2008, -0/+3I cringe a bit at cosplay in general. I would have thought that I'd be stewing in embarrassment for someone actually acting out a video game in character. But, seriously, that guy was just awesome.
- inactive, on 11/18/2008, -0/+3What's with the game lists on Digg.
Oh yeah the election is over. - CTabuga, on 11/18/2008, -0/+3College Assistance Migrant Program.

- inactive, on 11/18/2008, -0/+3what does camp bad guy mean? digg me down but PLEASE answer my question...
- NathanielJ, on 11/18/2008, -0/+3"After an abusive orphanage upbringing, Kefka..."
Does anyone have a source for this? I've played through FF6 probably a dozen times, and I don't recall the game ever mentioning anything about Kefka's past, much less an orphan upbringing. - JollyDumple, on 11/18/2008, -0/+2I like IX, myself.
- lachcorp, on 11/18/2008, -1/+3This is the gayest video game ever:
http://www.killscreenpoetry.com/2008/05/gayest-vid ... - digginaround, on 11/18/2008, -0/+2I was actually going through the comments to see if someone had already posted this essay. Kudos.
- Polyphony, on 11/18/2008, -0/+2No Tobias Bruckner? Pfft.
- MrJ777, on 11/18/2008, -0/+2I think I wanna start a band called "Hitler In A Mech" now. Granted I played that game and beat it, I never actually said the words out loud "HEY! THATS HITLER.....IN A MECH!"
Now these words are etched in my brain. Thanks digg.
Oh yea, bury for no voldo and for talking ***** about Kefka. - inactive, on 11/18/2008, -0/+2I like IV better.
- NathanielJ, on 11/18/2008, -0/+2"no. no he wasn't You kick his ass how many times before the finale confrontation?"
Once, in Narshe. He never actually fought you in Doma, and he handed your ass to you on a silver platter on the floating continent.
"oh god... not this again. Yet another pointlessly easy but horribly drawn out battle."
Again, the only time you actually fight him before the finale is in Narshe, when you knew damn well that you were going to be fighting him (since you'd spent the last 20 minutes whittling down his army). In Doma he runs away as soon as you attack (that's hardly long and drawn out), and you never actually fight him on the floating continent. What on earth are you talking about? -
