- bronxelf, on 06/27/2009, -10/+71Most people make their avatars unusually tall. The average height for an SL avatar is much taller than realistic human height. Smaller avatars can often look like children, even when they clearly aren't. The easy way of for people who don't want child avatars on their sims (even though *behind* the avatar is an adult) is to create a height limitation. My avatar is significantly shorter than average SL height - it's the same size I am IRL, but it is well beyond what would be required to visit this sim.
But since I think basing "what is a child avatar on height alone" is asinine, I wouldn't visit such a sim anyway.
