- YouWinILose, on 10/12/2007, -0/+22It's the big purple dot marked on your map.
- Propapanda, on 10/12/2007, -2/+23Either work on knocking over capitalism or stop being such a bitch about needing to pay for things money. Seriously I agree with you from a philosophical standpoint but wake up and take a look outside, the world isn't run on the Linux mindset so stop pretending it should be.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+19Anyone got the IGN PDF?
- nymphetamine, on 10/12/2007, -2/+18Another free guide:
http://www.sharebigfile.com/file/38963/twilight-princess.pdf.html
Gamespot has this for download on there site, but you have to sign up. - wingnut21, on 10/12/2007, -3/+17I don't know if you know this, but in the real world, not everything can be free, and people need to be compensated for their work to eat and have a roof over their head.
There's also no comparing the quality of a Zelda game to something you can download for free. - Krakn3Dfx, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13IGN gives something away for free11!1! Stop the presses!
Give me a break, they cross the line making people have to subscribe to access their forums. Worst game site ever! - Bigopinion, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12"No kidding? I never disputed that."
Then you're making a circular argument and defending contradictory statements and you should probably stop posting before every user who reads the comments on this story ignores you and your horrible response trolling. - Bigopinion, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13"Oh, please spare me the "people need to eat' *****. When people place limitations on freedom, they restrict the imagination and what is possible to only what they're used to. A perfect example is the elephant at the circus, raised on a chain and when it finally has the chain removed it doesn't stray because it was so conditioned."
Rome provided their citizens with free entertainment and free bread. They worked for everything else.
Open Source is great, I won't deny that. People need to make money though. OS developers ask for donations, game publishers make you buy the game. If you think you're entitled to recieve everything the world has to offer for free, how in the world are you still connected to the internet, or for that matter still alive? - Bigopinion, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10You can't convert the blind, unwashed masses to your stupid pseudo-anti-religion by blocking everyone that argues against you.
I think it's best that no one will read this entire transaction because users will have blocked you before they reach this far into the replies. Isn't it great to make comments that no one can see!!
I'm blocking you and will reinstate you every so often just to ***** on every comment you make. Evoke a demon on me or something, I don't care. - decay, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8I only use guides when figuring something isn't fun anymore.
Like spending three days walking around, you know what I mean? - TomWilliams79, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8I was refferring to the IGN PDF.
- DocHolliday, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7IGN site is a joke, I'm not paying them for news and reviews, when you can go to other sites and get the same information for free. Down with IGN.
- gmprunner, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Nintendo Power give out free hard-copies they give to new subscribers. It includes the soundtrack too, I don't know if they usually do or of it's just for this particular offer.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7gamespot's was free a looong time ago!
plus gamefaqs.com! - MrObjectional, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6No it's not. It is the inferior Gamespot version. I too would appreciate a PDF download of the IGN version.
- sldSquirrel, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9While I love GameFAQs, IGN guides have many screenshots and are generally easier to follow than GameFAQs.
Anyhow, I've been stuck on the Lakebed Temple for days, and thanks to this guide, I finally know where the door to the boss is. - Propapanda, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7*fastens safety belt*
- viruselectriko, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4thanks
- addiggt, on 07/06/2009, -0/+3@nymphetamine
Yeah but the gamespot one isn't as good as this one, imo. The IGN one is very nicely done. - Sabin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Ya, they should be free like the gamefaqs forums. That way you get nothing but quality posts!
- Crossmenjeff, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3well i believe i said a few days ago when people were talking about 30 to 50 dollar guides that they should wait for the hundreds of free guides that would hit the internet within days. I win. and for the record IGN wasn't always as bad as it is today, I remember when they use to "hire" people like me to help with reviews and to help spread the word about IGN. Then they left that business model and started charging everyone to use their site. That's when I decided to stop using IGN.
- NSMike, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Gamespot also has a free PDF download, where IGN still makes you pay for it.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I never understood strategy guides.
Doesn't it take the fun outta the game if everything is explained to you before hand?
I dunno, but most of the fun in the game is figuring things out yourself. I mean, I understand lookin stuff up if you're stuck, but I never understood the whole, "Buy the game and the guide is free!" type of thing. - M-ACE, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Another good one with video:
http://www.mycheats.com/view/superguide/18040/the_legend_of_zelda__twilight_princess/wii - macaddct1984, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Yeah, GameSpot's guide is really nice. Nice format, screenshots and videos:
http://www.gamespot.com/features/6162248/index.html - JCFlores, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I know I'll be dugg down but for 20 bucks you can get the guide plus the bonus soundtrack and a year subsciption of Nintendo Power Mag. (No they don't payme for this =P.) I'm thinking of buying one at the moment.
- cyrusthevirus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1If you had read nymphetamine's comment above, you would have seen this link to a PDF from Gamespot, hosted on one of those pay-to-download-now, free-if-you-wait-30-seconds sites:
http://www.sharebigfile.com/file/38963/twilight-princess.pdf.html
Heh, gameboy advance... - cyrusthevirus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Err... I was just reading through the section about the Poes and I'm not a member of IGN. Do some research before posting an authoritative comment.
BTW, If you want a free offline copy, just go click the link in nymphetamine's comment above. It's a 7.6MB PDF written by Gamespot and it appears to have all the same information as IGN's version. - Flump5000, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1in the jungle temple with the monkeys when u have to burn through the spider web what do u do if ur out of lantern oil?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Really? I'm not an insider, and by clicking the link, I can read it just fine."
Same here. I can read it just fine. - TheSaladMan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Exactly, if you need a guide to complete a game, there's really no point in playing it. Half the fun in playing a game is figuring it out.
- unununium, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No.
- JoshHendo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Buy More?
- davymac, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1ya a couple weeks ago a did a google search for twilight princess strategy guide, and found a pdf like on the 7th or 8th link.. worked great to help me past the first of the last series of bosses
- ChaosIncarnate, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Whatever shall Gamefaqs do now that other sites are giving away free access to strategy guides?
- 4rch, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Really? I'm not an insider, and by clicking the link, I can read it just fine.
Did you try clicking on the links that say "Walkthrough, Basics, Secrets... ect" ? - seabass2271985, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0would someone email me a guide? I stuck in a place where i only have access to the internet on a government computer and it won't let me go to any good websites. ( seabass2271985@aol.com )
Twilight princess for gamecube

- larrabee, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I remember them back before they were ign64.com (for N64 stuff). I forget what it was called though... Anyone remember?
- xmuzik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I haven't bought a strategy guide from a store in years, I just use the ones at IGN :)
- MartyMcFly713, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Very cool!
- cyrusthevirus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Sweet, an online strategy guide... with pictures!! Normally, I hafta make do with whatever ASCII art they produce at GameFAQs. This oughtta make short work of those last 20 Poes. I wonder how helpful this'll be for the GC version... Thanks!!
- evolutioninc, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0the Sharebig link is dead? anyone want to reupload it.......all other guides SUCK!!
IGN one is very helpful and easy to use!!
thanks in advanced!! - seabass2271985, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0It used to be called Gamesages before ign.
- TheVirus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I'm surprised the IGN one wasn't posted yet, get on that you warez monkeys. Make poppa proud.
- Aleman360, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0You don't need a guide for Zelda you sissies :P
