- shotgunefx, on 11/27/2008, -0/+7Even before Doom, people would mod Wolfenstein 3D, graphics anyway. I did an "Aliens" mod amongst others, were the soldiers were Aliens and the German Shepards became face huggers. I also remember that not long after I got every actor and wall texture in place and played for awhile, my "DoubleSpace" compressed drive got corrupted as they so often did and of course, you would lose the whole thing. I still had most of the pics, but I never bothered to redo it. Ah, the old days, they sucked :)

- eviscerator, on 11/26/2008, -1/+5I started making a mod in about 2000 where you could put Pikachu in the rocket launcher and launch him. You could also pick him up and punch him to make him shoot lightning bolts - aaah yes, those were the days. Doom is still an awesome game though :)

IDKFA - Halsfield, on 11/27/2008, -0/+2i still have memories of quake 1 deathmatch and quake 1+2 team fortress, i never really played "doom" online or was into modding doom 1 or 2 simply because the computer i had at the time they were out could not run it, but quake held my attention in that area for quite a long time and some of the incredible models for both games like spaceman spiff were incredibly well done and animated.

- Waphlez, on 11/30/2008, -0/+1Because it was just a reskin of a monster with the same behavior. It's not really a mod. Although I remember it being very popular back in the day. I enjoyed the Beavis and Butthead WAD as well.
