  • jeremymccurdy, on 10/12/2008, -3/+16Why on earth did the writer use a shot from the fan made Chrono Trigger remake that was shut down instead of an actual game shot, that would be pretty misleading to anyone who didn't know that the game is pretty much a straight port of the PSX version with some things added here and there.

The remake project did look incredible, but they should have realized that it was doomed once it started getting attention. I mean, how would Sqaure-Enix be able to sell straight ports (which aren't bad, but not a huge revamp) when there's a fan made remake that looks a million times better?

  • cthellis, on 10/13/2008, -0/+2They're roughly the same right now, but Japan's made a move towards the portables this gen, what with the DS blowing everything that's ever come before out of the water, and the PSP still tracking ahead of the Wii right now.


    I certainly understand why Capcom chose to bring it TO the Wii, I'm just not sure why they didn't aim at both, since the tech and asset levels aren't as divergent as if they were bringing it to the 360 or PS3, and they basically own the PSP with that series. Nothing really holding them back, especially since they have all the tools in place, and the engine mature.

  • dansmeek, on 10/13/2008, -1/+2does anyone know if they are going to bring yakuza 3 to the USA???? I just bought and started Yakuza 2 and its one of the best (in its' genre) games ever. And I played the Jap demo of Y3. And the graphics looked fantastic. But I dont read japanese so I couldnt even get in a fight or anything :(
    It took over 1 year for them to port Y2 from Japan to US. That is way too much time. Who does Sega think they are? Square?

    Correction asides I think MH3 and MHU will be one of next years most awesome tittles.
