I got into it not because I wanted the attention of the guys but because I LOVED the characters and costumes that I was reading/playing. It's just an extension of acting really. You get to become a character for a day. On top of it, many of these girls do their own sewing as well so you have to add points for creativity and talent there.

        In my years cosplaying I have met HUNDREDS of amazingly beautiful women who are into this hobby. Some hot guys too! In fact, all of my best friends and writers on my website cosplay. It's nothing odd or weird. It's an awesome hobby and brings a ton of really talented people together! Not like these girls go out in public on a daily basis like this. It's just for events.

      Last Saturday there were a large group of guys wearing sailor cos (sick I know) but it was damn funny. There is also a huge shop (turn left out of electric town exit Akiba and is 30 yards on the right) that is about 6 floors of costume
