- cheez, on 10/12/2007, -0/+51horrible, colorful nightmares
- vhold, on 10/12/2007, -0/+45He didn't just slide the piece in there, he rotated it in. Different tetris games have different rules about collisions for rotations near other pieces.
- CaptShmo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+38he must have horrible nightmares...
- Lososaurus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+33Fitting a piece into a place where it wouldn't normally fit is called a 'T-Spin'
http://www.tetrisconcept.com/tetriswiki/Twists - XtremePsionic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+33Wow, my eyes can't even focus fast enough from the "next block" to where he puts the blocks. Amazing!
- oustormchaser, on 10/12/2007, -1/+31if you think that's impressive check this out

- Lorian, on 10/12/2007, -2/+23Why did it finish before the end of the game?
- drderail, on 10/12/2007, -5/+23Yes, but only in Caalllliforrrrniaaaa.
- gringomasta, on 10/12/2007, -4/+20You can't even see the blocks appear, that's unpossible!!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -7/+20He's probably an autistic savant.
- scyform, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13did I just see someone BEAT tetris?
- mhockey14221, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14I bet he went on a lot of dates in between...
... - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12He's probably a robot.
- Indrek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Sweet zombie Jesus...
That big blocks mode at the end was cool. Easter egg? - lolage, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Honestly. Half way through watching that my eyes started to glaze over and the screen disappeared. Thats insane speed. He can see the future.
- dbug, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6WTF? That's just not humanly possible.
- kingkilr, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I'm gonna need some more time with Windows Entertainment Pack.
- DirtyWorker, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Nor is your English.
- light50, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6...There is just simply not enough time for him to actually see the next block (as in move his eyes to it and back)...
He probably doesn't look at the stack - he just knows what's down there. - Mikecol, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4DAMN!
- Pattyo13, on 05/14/2009, -0/+4this calls for a dork-off
- moshguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Now I know what Tetris looks like in Hell..
- anagoge, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Fast forward to 3:50 - I do believe I have just witnessed a real life Neo. It's like he's seeing Tetris code!
Truly remarkable to say the least. - ericnmu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Ever heard of a savant?
- foolonthehill, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4For seeing the next block, there's no time to look up at it and back at the main screen, but it's entirely possible to do out of the corner of your eye (especially since the blocks are colour coded). I started doing this as I was watching the video since it's not possible to look up and back down again. As for placing them, well... It look impossible, but then I've seen people display ability that appears similarly impossible at plenty of other things.
- duck1123, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5"me fail english? that's unpossible!" - Ralph Wiggum
- fascfoo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3The big blocks and colorless blocks are probably another attempt to ratchet up the difficulty and I think most advanced players go by the color of the blocks to discern shape.
- ChuyMatt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3All the blocks!! Singing and falling at me!! at the Same Time!! and the speed up!!! It is like a horror musical!
OMG!!!! - mapkinase, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Soviet guy invented Tetris.
- Pattyo13, on 05/14/2009, -0/+2correction, tetris is the opposite of sex
- Pattyo13, on 05/14/2009, -0/+210 ^ f
where f = minutes spent with female, ever - BRizzle83, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3unfortunately Tetris DS is much easier than older versions because of the unlimited hovering ability while rotating. so it's not fair to compare Tetris DS scores to other versions.
- sevenhelmets, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2One word. UNREAL!
That is simply mindblowing. The difference between these guys and a normal everyday player is although they make mistakes, they move on and dont let it affect them - lil_isie, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6QUITE a few hours. I've been to Japan, and also to arcades there. The thing is, kids will go there after school and play a game of their choice relentlessly.
I watched a school kid beat twenty people in Sou Calibur 3: Arcade...and then I beat him; BARELY.
Kids in Japan are as dedicated as their forefathers...just at games along with everything else. - avester, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3those crazy Japanese!!!
- anagoge, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It's what your peripheral vision is for.
- theprez, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2The problem with the digging down is that people do it because they simply don't agree with your comment. It doesn't matter if it's useful or insightful.
Your second comment (the one above this one) on the other hand is completely useless and deserves being dugg down to hell. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This guy would be fun to play on tetrinet with special blocks enabled.
- jrlcopy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Have you not played tetris on the DS????? Its not that difficult.... the problem occurs when the blocks are appearing in the center zone instantly, so you have to always have something built in the center so you can move the pieces to the left or right.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Haters...
- Scynet, on 10/12/2007, -5/+6So you couldn't see that the actual game is sped up while his hands are not....his hands would keep on moving even after game :P
Nah, that's some truly awesome skill there. Digg. - jdkane, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's different when you're playing the game (any game) because you are in control of it.
Watching somebody else who is good (any game) looks impossible because you cannot inject yourself into the same mindset when you're not at the controls.
So rather than impossible, it's actually amazing. - Pattyo13, on 05/14/2009, -0/+1Hmmmm.... Tetris or members of the opposite sex?
- IbnDigg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1nah, fark
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2doesnt this tetris game look like lumines?
- njbair, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2that. was. amazing.
- Waterrat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1 Iit sure was...
Somewhere,I think it was on Google Video, there is aTetris tournament showing two players playing.
I really like the game, but I'm not *that* good! -
