I walked into EB Games yesterday just to look for the Twilight Princess Collectors game guide. I asked the clerk if they had any PS3's in stock (just for kicks) and he had like 6 in the back. It was very painless. I am upset that they didn't have the Zelda guide though :(

You should check to see if those boxes on the shelf actualy have Wii
in them. My local TRU has 11 boxes on the shelf, and most of them have stickers that say for display only. All of them are empty. It kinda pisses you off when you wait for TRU to open, then go to the electronics dept, and see Wii on shelves, but empty.

If we get them during the week, and next Sunday there is not ad with the Wii in it, we will randomly put them out. The target I work at says we might have some on Sunday, but even they are not sure. We are also having trouble keeping DS Lites in stock.

A sales rep told me they were expecting a shipment late saturday night and they would go on sale Sunday morning. I told him that I did the price checker trick and he said that on Saturday night they won't even be in the inventory system till after store hours because they have to unload them from the truck/process them, etc etc.

I got a Wii plus Banana Blitz for 369(+$25 shipping), which is only slightly above retail+sales tax. And standing in line for hours isn't worth 50 bucks for me.

There's so much volume for wii that you can sometimes sneak in a comparatively cheap bid on wii. I got a bundle of wii, an extra controller and Zelda for $30 more than retail. Shipping cost is irrelevant because the shipping price equals the tax you would pay in a store.
