- djork, on 10/12/2007, -3/+18It is pre-release. The game may not even make launch. It's also running on dev kit hardware (as all of the show floor games are). The lit-up Wii boxes are just props with the real hardware underneath.

I mean seriously, remember when NES was new and you could be content just sitting and watching someone *else* play so you could soak in the experience? That's the feeling I got watching this video. I could have happily watched the player go through the whole game.

- Orbis, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11I don't get the hype surrounding this game. It's crap compared to Sony's recently announced Urban Grunge Galaxy which has better graphics and physics, and you even have the choice of buying only the first level for $100, or the whole game for $150.

I don't agree because I think there is much more to "next-gen" than graphics. You can run PS3 demos all day but it still looks like the same old games with better graphics to me. Many of the Wii titles, however, play like NOTHING else on the market... that is Next-Gen to me.

- LandStander, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8I can't wait for this game but it looks a little too easy. I didn't quite like the arrows telling you where to go to get to the top. One of the coolest parts about the Shadows of the Colossus boss battles was wondering if this is the way to go or if your just wasting your time and trying to figure out how to kill each colossi. Of course this could possibly be so easy cause it might be a boss pretty early in the game.

Thankfully, it's not a publically traded company.. which is why they can still innovate and take huge risks. If they had shareholders to answer to every quarter, they'd be more like the other crap companies out there just trying to squeeze every penny from the consumer and not doing anything to really earn it.
On the bright side of the investment coin, the comapany that's making the gyroscopic device (actual name 3-axis iMEMS accelerometer, really) for the Wii controller IS. I'm sure they'll get much harder later on, I remember some of the bosses in other mario games have been tough towards the end.
