All I’ve seen thus far is half-ass mods, and other rip offs not even worth mentioning. I can't wait to see what the turn out of this will be.. As said before, there is a lot of data which can be put into the game, as the series has been running for 9 seasons now.

SG-1 is on its, what, 10th season? They still have 16 to go if they want to tie classic *Doctor Who* to the worldwide scifi longevity record...not counting the fact that the show is back on the air and is coming up on its 2nd (vol. 2)/28th season*.
*or, as they refer to it in the U.K., "series"....

Definately one of the best ever and the stories never get dull. Sci-Fi fridays ROCK! ....BTW, Battlestar Gallactica is another winner.

I can almost agree. Star Wars is one of the biggest names in Sci-Fi, and look how their MMO turned out. Started out pretty good. In the end, even they managed to muff it up, and it went from the 2nd largest MMO to virtually nothing. The largest group left after their last major revision, which seemed to turn it into a console-style game . . . on a PC. Most have left to WoW, almost the complete opposite of the star wars sci-fi theme. What a crock.
It will be a looooong while before I ever consider paying monthly for a game, after I bought it.
I still say 'almost' because every MMO is different. Those who will make this game just may get it right, you never know. -
