"Dare"
"Nothing's Gonna Stand in Our Way"
Pick this up right now Harmonix!! - Rhendal, on 10/06/2008, -1/+26YOU GOT THE TOUCH!
YOU GOT THE POWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! - Noelix, on 10/06/2008, -2/+23While we're at it let's make it a Stan Bush song pack and add in "Dare" as well!
- AmazingSteve, on 10/06/2008, -3/+24This song always reminds me of the recording studio scene in Boogie Nights.
- RedStateRetard, on 10/06/2008, -4/+24Apple should license this song to promote the Ipod Touch.
- ironhide, on 10/06/2008, -2/+19Even though I got offed in a rather gruesome manner in TFTM, I approve of this message :)
- bjkrautk, on 10/06/2008, -4/+18This needs to be in Rock Band, if only to remind the world that it used to be possible to make a Good Transformers movie!
- Damaramu, on 10/06/2008, -2/+13Let's make this happen people!
- Zegarek, on 10/07/2008, -0/+10I don't think it's "Indy" enough for them to use in their commercials. Even if it is a great idea.
- InvaderPhlegm, on 10/07/2008, -1/+11How about the whole soundtrack and not just the Stan Bush material?
With the exception of, "The Death of Optimus Prime," which is mainly a piano piece, everything on the Transformers: The Movie soundtrack works great in the premise of Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero: World Tour. Even the Vince DiCola instrumentals. Those would have to see a little reworking, but Vince rereleased more guitar and drum heavy versions of those songs a couple years back, so it's not like you'd have to leave anything other than "The Death of Optimus Prime," out of the game.
I say we should make the entire soundtrack happen, and really live up the memories. - CoreyTamas, on 10/07/2008, -4/+14This song will always mean "Dirk Diggler" to me.
- FlyinWhee, on 10/07/2008, -0/+9YE-AH!
- RurouniQ, on 10/06/2008, -1/+10Also add "Nothing's Gonna Stand in Our Way". Please. Now. Now. Please. Now.
- xombi242, on 10/07/2008, -1/+10I'll hit up the Rock Band store for that. Throw in "Dare to be Stupid" as well and they'll make another sale.
- syl1985, on 10/06/2008, -1/+9Nay!
Stan Bush Pack 01:
"The Touch"
... "The Touch" "The Touch" - o0joshua0o, on 10/07/2008, -2/+10They need to add a whole "80's movie montage" sound pack that includes songs like "The Touch" (Transformers), "Eye of the Tiger" (Rocky 3), "You're the Best Around" (Karate Kid), and a bunch of other ones that aren't coming to mind right now...
- mywhitenoise, on 10/06/2008, -0/+8http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfPCR8PYqiw
- mywhitenoise, on 10/06/2008, -3/+10Make it a free song. The free songs available now are novelty crap, but I would download and play this one.
- Budkin, on 10/06/2008, -1/+7Hell yes. Please do now. Please.
- boardthis, on 10/07/2008, -2/+8that is the ONLY reason why i know this song. i had no clue it was in the transformers.
go ahead and yell and bury me now. i deserve it. - bardo77n, on 10/07/2008, -1/+7Light our darkest hour!

- Zippo, on 10/07/2008, -1/+6Oh HELLS YES.
- gl77, on 10/07/2008, -1/+6i always thought that this song was just in Boogie Nights.......i didnt know it was actually a real song........wow.
- roostersheep, on 01/16/2009, -1/+6You haven't truly heard cheesy 80's music until you've heard Stan Bush's "Dare". I say that in a positive way, I really love it.
You can win if you dare! (dare, dare, dare...) - TheXeno, on 10/06/2008, -1/+5Sent my email. Flood Harmonix's box yo.
- Andrwmorph, on 10/07/2008, -0/+4Its not trendy enough
- jet2112, on 10/07/2008, -0/+4Eye of the Tiger is already in Rock Band 2
- petebot, on 10/06/2008, -1/+5You're at your best when the going's rough--you give and you give but it's never enough...
You've got the Touch! - JustinPM, on 10/07/2008, -1/+5They should just have a Transformers the Movie pack. So many of the songs are great 80s songs. Instruments of Destruction is just brutal when you link it to the Decepticon slaughtering of Autobots. Still makes me get a chill with the "Such heroic nonsense" coup de grace.
Interesting thing, I'm somewhat stupid sometimes and was about to put Coup de Gras, which translates to "blow of fat" instead of "blow of mercy".
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coup_de_gr%C3%A2ce - Scrappy1850, on 10/07/2008, -1/+5Someone should do it for Frets on Fire. It's free and we don't have to wait on Harmonix.
- fishbeef33, on 10/07/2008, -0/+4"Dare to be Stupid" would be a great addition.
- davethe1st, on 10/07/2008, -1/+5"What's wrong with Grimlock? Did he fall on his head or what?"
- fishbeef33, on 10/07/2008, -1/+5Not only should "The Touch" be in Rock Band, but while you're playing it there should be actual footage from the movie on the screen where Optimus rolls in, transforms, and kills three Decepticons in mid-air. That scene is legendary.
- Veloxi, on 10/07/2008, -0/+3Stan Bush didn't do "Nothing's Gonna Stand in Our Way" silly goose. That was Spectre General.
- shutaro, on 10/07/2008, -1/+4This needs to happen!
- pnunn, on 10/07/2008, -0/+3Stan Bush is NOT the only one who needs this.
(goes back to work, whistling tunelessly through the solo... into prime vs. megatron middle eight...)
"you're at your best when the going gets tough, you've been put to the test but it's never enough!" - mattkelly, on 10/06/2008, -3/+6This needs to happen!
- Grossinm, on 10/07/2008, -2/+5Only if it is Marky Marks version from Boogie Nights!
- fishbeef33, on 10/07/2008, -2/+5You obviously didn't grow up in the 80's, or if you did, you weren't a fan of Transformers. That song transcends any kind of criticism for those of us who remember the movie.
- protogenxl, on 10/07/2008, -1/+4I want Dare to be Stupid
- sharkd, on 10/07/2008, -1/+4One shall stand... one shall fall.
- Veloxi, on 10/07/2008, -0/+3Totally agreed
- jbenz, on 10/07/2008, -0/+3Yes. Please don't forget "Dare".
And if you could get Judd Nelson to intro "Dare", please make him say: "Why settle for a peak, when you can see the whole thing from Lookout Mountain!"
Dare! Dare to believe you can survive...so on and so forth.... - bagboyrebel, on 10/07/2008, -1/+3ummm... good for you?
- ZenMojo, on 10/07/2008, -0/+2You should be ashamed of yourself. This is how Stan Bush wants to be remembered. Don't believe me?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COYRxf13tIg
Yeah, how's them apples?
And some context.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPBrxQy8cQc - ATLien74, on 10/07/2008, -0/+2Hey wait a minute... wasn't this the song that Mark Wahlberg and John C. Reilly were "trying" to record in Boogie Nights when he was trying to leave porn and become a rock star?
Yes, it was.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3C9Bng7NPPY - mywhitenoise, on 10/07/2008, -1/+3*****...I wouldn't. And a 6 pack bundle would cost $10.
